What TechClass is
TechClass is an AI-powered learning management system for companies that need to onboard new hires, run mandatory compliance training and upskill their teams from one platform. Its home page calls it "The complete employee training management system" and describes "the AI-powered employee training software that onboards every new hire, keeps you audit-ready, and upskills every team, with ready-made courses included." The FAQ defines it as an LMS "for B2B teams" combining no-code and AI course authoring, assignment by group or company-wide, real-time tracking and reporting, a mobile app with offline learning, and a ready-made Course Library.
The pitch is aimed at companies without a dedicated learning department. The FAQ says TechClass is built so "HR generalists, office managers, and founders can run real training programs themselves", and the home page promises "Live within hours, no specialists required." The site has English and Finnish versions, and its solutions menu covers startups, small businesses, midsize companies and enterprises, along with HR, L&D, compliance, sales and customer success teams.
Four products on one platform
The home page presents four entry points that share one platform. Employee Training Software takes a company "From blank platform to trained team within hours". Employee Onboarding Software lets a team "Build the path once and every new hire gets the same strong first week, from preboarding to fully ramped." Compliance Training Software is there to "Assign mandatory training, watch completion live, and stay audit-ready all year, without the fire drills." The Course Library offers "Ready-made courses on AI, compliance, cybersecurity, and productivity: assign them the same day."
The Course Library
The library is what places TechClass among training libraries as well as business LMSs. Courses come in two tiers. There are 29 Essentials courses of about 60 minutes each, "Included with every license", and 13 Skills courses of about 8 hours each, "Licensed per learner, quoted on request." By category, Artificial Intelligence has 6 Essentials and 3 Skills courses, Cybersecurity has 9 Essentials and 3 Skills courses, Productivity has 8 Essentials and 3 Skills courses, and Compliance is marked as upcoming. The menu also lists Expert Workshops, learning services and funded trainings.
Building and assigning courses
The AI Course Creator "turns a document or a topic into a structured course with lessons and quizzes in minutes, and can localize courses into many languages", according to the FAQ, which adds that everything stays editable and that admins review before anything reaches a learner. The home page shows an onboarding handbook PDF being turned into lessons on culture, tools and working safely, followed by a quiz, with an auto-translate option.
Assignment is built around reusable learning paths. The site says a team can "Build a learning path once, then let TechClass assign it by group or for the whole company", with reminders and nudges handled automatically. A company blog post adds that learning paths support relative deadlines, path-level analytics and per-course enrollment tracking, and that Groups can segment learners by department, location, role level, cohort, partner, customer or project team. Playbooks act as a knowledge base for handbooks, SOPs, policies and sales guidelines, with version history and access control.
Six AI agents
TechClass organizes its AI as six agents across the learning cycle. The Skills Agent "Measures your workforce against their roles and maps the path to close skill gaps." The Course Creator builds ready-to-edit courses from a topic, a document or existing material. The Pathway Agent "Assigns and sequences the right training for every learner and group, adapting as they progress." The AI Coach is described in the menu as "A 24/7 tutor in any language" and on the home page as answering learner questions "grounded in your own content, around the clock." The Compliance Agent "Tracks mandatory training, flags expirations before they lapse, and keeps you audit-ready." The Insights Agent "Turns training data into plain-language answers and flags what needs attention." A Sidekick assistant works across every stage, and the site stresses human-in-the-loop control and that it never trains on customer data.
Compliance and records
Compliance is the most detailed part of the product. The company blog says the Compliance module lets admins "map a required course to a target group, define how long the certification is valid, set a warning period before expiration," and monitor learners as Compliant, Expiring Soon, Expired, In Progress or Not Started. Its dashboard includes a "Remediate All" action that mass-enrolls every non-compliant learner, plus CSV export for audits and executives. A global enrollment ledger can be searched by learner, course, status, progress, enrolled date, deadline and completion status, and each enrollment shows the last visit, deadline, grade, instructor feedback, internal notes and manual status controls. Archived users keep their training history and certificates.
On the home page, completion certificates are issued and stored automatically, transcripts are kept for every learner, a timestamped audit log records activity, and audit-ready exports take one click. The site adds a fair caveat of its own: "TechClass supports compliance-related training workflows; it does not replace legal or regulatory systems."
Portals, learners and mobile
Five role-based portals split the experience: Hub, Learner Portal, Instructor Portal, Group Lead Portal and Admin Portal. Group leads can track their own teams without full admin access, which the blog describes as three layers of delegation. Learners get a personalized dashboard, light and dark mode, gamification with leaderboards and streaks, and self-paced courses.
The mobile app page describes native iOS and Android apps with "full offline access": learners download courses, keep learning with no signal, and progress "syncs automatically the moment you're back online", which the site pitches at "frontline, field, and deskless teams." Push notifications keep learners on track, and they can "Pick up exactly where you left off across devices." For customer success teams, the site offers "Branded academies, self-serve catalogs, and analytics that show real product adoption", and the features menu lists white-label branding and global localization, with the enterprise tier offering "an 11-language interface".
Security, integrations and pricing
The FAQ lists "SSO and 2FA, role-based permissions, encryption, regular backups, and a full audit log", and says the platform is GDPR compliant. The blog adds invite-only mode, allowed email domains, IP allowlisting and white-label options such as a custom domain, depending on plan or add-on. The footer links to a Developer API, TechClass Docs and a Trust Center, and the features menu lists integration and connectivity.
Pricing is "Simple, per-user pricing" on two plans. Business covers 10 to 200 users and includes the whole platform with the Course Library Essentials courses. Enterprise covers 200+ users with "Volume pricing, add-ons included, and a dedicated Customer Success Manager." Annual billing "gives you three months free compared to monthly." The per-user amounts sit on a separate pricing page. A 14-day trial needs no credit card, and demos run 30 minutes. The home page shows ratings of 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot and 4.8 out of 5 on Google.
Who it suits
TechClass suits a small or midsize company that needs onboarding and compliance training running quickly without hiring an L&D specialist, and that values ready-made courses on AI, cybersecurity and productivity. Compliance teams with recurring certifications get expiry warnings, mass remediation and audit exports, and companies with frontline or field staff get offline mobile learning. The main caveat is that the library's Compliance category is still marked as upcoming, so a buyer who needs ready-made compliance courses today will rely on the authoring tools for now. Teams under 10 users fall below the Business plan's stated range.
