What it is

SkillForce LMS, written Skill Force LMS and SkillForceLMS on its own site, is a learning management system for organizations that train people: companies, schools and institutions, coaches and trainers, and certification programs. The home page headline is "Skill Force LMS-Smart Learning. Strong Teams." and the pitch underneath is to "Build, manage, and scale digital learning programs with a modern LMS built for businesses, educators, and training organizations." It calls itself a "Fully Integrated Learning Management System".

The company's blog places it between two kinds of software. Onboarding tools handle a new hire's first days, an LMS handles training after that, and SkillForce describes itself as "a combined LMS and onboarding tool" so that both run in one system. Its list of solutions reads like the same product seen from different buyers: a people development platform, a learning management system, an LMS mobile application, a learning and development platform, a corporate training system, a learning experience platform and training management software. The site's copyright line also names RedStaglabs.

What users get

AI course and video creation. The home page leads with content generation. It promises "Create AI-powered courses in minutes" with no technical skills needed, and says its AI Video & Lesson Generator "turns ideas into training content and videos instantly." For a small HR or training team without instructional designers, this is the feature that gets an initial course out quickly.

The five core capabilities. The home page groups the platform into five areas. Data-driven learning decisions use reports and analytics to identify skill gaps, learner performance and training effectiveness. Assessments and certifications let administrators create quizzes, exams and certificates. Automated learning paths guide learners through structured content based on roles, goals or skill levels. Secure access control protects training content and data with role-based permissions. Staff management gives instructors, managers and learners customized access.

Onboarding. A company blog post describes what HR teams do in SkillForce: assign onboarding tasks, create role-based learning paths, deliver training courses, and monitor progress from a single platform, with AI-powered capabilities and analytics to automate onboarding. Its feature list adds onboarding workflows, AI-assisted course creation, progress tracking and reporting, compliance training, mobile learning and integrations with business tools. In the post's comparison table, SkillForce is marked for onboarding, training and AI features, with HRMS, SSO and APIs listed under integrations.

What a rollout looks like. Put together, the pieces describe a simple loop. An administrator sets up roles and permissions for trainers, managers and learners, builds or generates courses, and attaches them to learning paths for each role. A new hire is assigned onboarding tasks and the path for their job, completes modules and quizzes on a desktop or phone, and receives a certificate when they pass. Managers follow progress and completion, and the reports show where skill gaps remain, which feeds the next round of courses.

Four kinds of program. The solutions section breaks the product down by buyer.

  • Corporate training: manage employees, trainers and managers with role-based access; deliver training modules, videos and assessments; track progress, completion rates and skill development; launch programs with minimal setup.
  • Education and institutions: manage students, teachers and academic roles; provide lessons, assignments and exams digitally; monitor attendance, assessments and learning progress; set up virtual classrooms quickly. This is the side that puts SkillForce in the school LMS list here.
  • Coaching: manage coaches, mentors and learners; deliver coaching sessions, modules and materials; track engagement and performance metrics; start programs with minimal configuration.
  • Certification and compliance: manage candidates, evaluators and administrators; issue and manage digital certificates automatically; analyze exam results and certification progress; run controlled certification programs.

Customization and mobile. The FAQ says customers can customize course structures, branding, certificates and learning paths. An LMS mobile application is listed among the company's solutions, and mobile learning appears in the blog's feature list, so learners are not tied to a desk.

What the company publishes

The home page carries a "Rated 4.6 out of 5" badge and a set of short testimonials from people identified by name and role. Madison Lee, an L&D manager, calls the platform "intuitive, scalable, and makes learning measurable and engaging". Piper Girard, a training consultant, says "Course management and reporting are incredibly easy to use." Rahul, an operations manager, writes that "our teams can learn at their own pace while managers track progress effortlessly." Divya Mistry, a talent development head, credits "The analytics and reports" with giving "real insight into workforce skills and training effectiveness." Max, an enterprise manager, says it helped scale learning across departments while keeping consistency and quality. Camille Clark, an HR lead, singles out certifications and assessments, which she says are now easy to manage, and a learner experience her staff find user-friendly.

A "Proven Impact" section on the home page claims that SkillForce reduces training administration time through automation and increases course completion and learner engagement, though its counters show no figures. The company sums up its aim as helping organizations "build skilled teams and sustainable learning cultures that evolve with business needs."

The site publishes no prices. The FAQ says customers "can start with a free trial or request a personalized demo from our team", and the demo form asks when the visitor is available, from this week to next month, and what they would like to see. Questions go through a contact form or a support email address.

The blog leans heavily on AI in the workplace, with recent posts on how AI can improve training completion rates, AI trends in workplace learning, AI-generated courses, and how AI personalizes learning. Its onboarding guide suggests SkillForce for small businesses that want built-in training from the first day.

Who it suits and who might look elsewhere

SkillForce LMS suits a small or mid-sized company that wants onboarding and ongoing training in one place, with role-based learning paths, quizzes and certificates, and an AI generator to fill the first courses. Schools that want virtual classrooms with attendance and assessment tracking, coaches running structured programs, and organizations issuing certifications are all addressed by name on the home page, and the free trial lets any of them test it before talking to sales.

The pages describe no checkout or course sales, so a creator who wants to sell courses to the public will find more on platforms built around a storefront.
