Rise Up is a corporate learning platform that combines a learning management system with a learner experience layer, an authoring tool, a content store and e-commerce, all driven by what the company calls its AI engine. It is built for L&D and training managers in larger organizations and for training providers, and it also serves companies that train customers and partners. The site's structured data gives a Paris address, the site is published in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Dutch, and the LMS page FAQ says Rise Up supports more than 600 companies and 5 million learners across 170 countries. The company's stated measure of success is "Time-to-Skill", how fast training turns into ability on the job.
Managing training
The LMS side handles the operational work: enrollment, approval workflows, assignments, notifications and reminders, which the English page says can be automated "so your team can focus on impact". Learning paths can mix e-learning, virtual classes and face-to-face sessions in one blended path, and the French LMS page stresses that paths are designed around the training goal rather than the delivery format. Classroom training is managed in the same place as online courses.
Rise Up is built for international rollouts. The English page says administrators can support learners "across regions, roles, and time zones", and AI translates both the content and the platform itself into more than 45 languages. The platform can be white-labeled and the admin dashboards tailored to what each team wants to see.
Multiple audiences run from one account. The FAQ describes employee training, customer training through dedicated learning portals for onboarding and product education, and partner training so resellers can learn a product and become self-sufficient. The French page calls these sub-platforms, run with audience management while the company keeps control of the whole setup. Use cases listed in the menu include onboarding, sales training, field training, regulatory training and customer and partner training, and the industries named are health, finance and insurance, construction and industry, transport and logistics, retail, software publishers and training organizations.
Personalization and AI
Adaptive learning is the feature Rise Up leads with. The French home page says AI models in the adaptive engine take the learner's existing knowledge into account so each person is offered only what they need to build the skill. Skills-based learning maps training to role-specific skills, tracks development and highlights gaps. A Memorization feature sends targeted reminders and review activities so learners revisit key points at the right time, and "learning in the flow of work" pushes training into the tools teams already use. The French LMS page adds AI coaches that extend training into practice after the course ends.
The company is explicit that AI is not an extra: the English FAQ says adaptive learning and automatic translation into more than 45 languages "are included in the platform at no additional cost."
Creating content
The built-in authoring tool, according to the French FAQ, creates content in H5P, text, quizzes, multiple-choice questions, exams, surveys and screen recordings, and imports and edits existing SCORM files, video and documents such as PDF, Word and PowerPoint. Three AI features sit inside it. Course Genius generates a full course from an uploaded document (video, text, PowerPoint or PDF) or a URL, which the team can then edit. Récapitulatif produces an editable PDF summary of a course's key points for learners. Automatic translation covers content into 45 languages and generates and translates subtitles.
Teams that prefer to buy content can draw on the Rise Up content store, described as ready-to-use material from trusted providers. The French page frames this as four routes: ready-made content, a course built from scratch, a course generated with AI, or one made in an existing authoring tool.
Standards, integrations and data
The French LMS page lists the standards it supports: SCORM 1.2 and 2004 for import and export, xAPI (Tin Can) for tracking activity across business tools, and LTI 1.3 for embedding external content in a path. For French training organizations it supports Qualiopi requirements by generating attendance sheets, certificates of attendance and exports automatically. The same section says data is hosted in Europe in line with the GDPR.
Rise Up says it has more than 350 connectors and an open API for HR, learning, sales and marketing tools. Microsoft Teams appears in its results, with the French home page claiming a 22% rise in active learners from embedding training in Teams. A customer quote from Sika's L&D lead says the company had used SAP SuccessFactors for HR and training and that adding Rise Up for skills development went quickly thanks to data synchronization.
Reporting covers real-time dashboards of learner progress, engagement and time-to-skill, custom reports built on business KPIs, skills tracking at scale, and links to the HRIS to connect learning with performance.
Selling training
For training providers and companies that charge for courses, Rise Up adds a plug-and-play e-commerce module so visitors can browse, buy and enroll directly from the platform, and Rise Up Engage, a drag-and-drop builder for branded course pages. The English page pitches this as a way to make training earn money rather than only cost it.
Pricing, results and support
Prices start low and scale with users, but the pages give slightly different figures. The English FAQ says pricing starts "at £2 per user, per month" and that Rise Up mainly serves organizations with more than 1000 learners; the French home page says the model starts at 2 € per user per month for companies above 1000 learners; the French LMS page gives 2,04 € per user per month and says it mainly works with organizations of more than 300 learners. The demo page promises a 30-minute walkthrough and a custom pricing plan.
The company publishes its own outcome figures: +93% engagement with recommended learning paths, +46% skills retention three months after a course and a 95% completion rate with blended learning. One case on the French LMS page describes Decathlon's academy reaching 107,000 teammates in 85+ countries. Rise Up says it was named a Core Leader in the Fosway 9-Grid for Learning Systems.
Each customer gets a dedicated Customer Success Manager through pre-onboarding, onboarding, ongoing check-ins and usage reviews, and the comparison table lists support as unlimited. A Click2Learn director is quoted saying they were live and onboarding clients "In less than 3 months of meeting the team".
Who it suits
Rise Up fits a company with several hundred to many thousands of learners spread across countries, especially one that needs content in many languages or trains customers and partners as well as staff. French training providers can generate the attendance sheets and certificates that Qualiopi asks for inside the platform. A small team with a handful of courses is not the stated target, and the per-user model means the bill grows with headcount.
