MyPass LMS

MyPass LMS is a cloud learning management system from Kprise, a company that says it has spent 16 years building learning and certification platforms for associations, nonprofits and certification bodies. The home page describes it as an AI-powered LMS that runs "online training, certification, and compliance from one connected platform": an organization connects its association management system (AMS) or HR system, automates enrollment and renewals, and keeps audit-ready training records. The central argument is consolidation. Kprise says most associations and enterprises stitch together eight separate tools (an LMS, a compliance tool, an AMS bridge, proctoring, DRM, translation, ecommerce and reporting), and MyPass aims to replace them all, without charging per seat.
Who it is for
The site names three groups. L&D and compliance teams get mandatory training, completion tracking, audit evidence and renewal chasing, which it describes as automated end-to-end. Associations and member organizations get an LMS that reads from their AMS, enrolls members by tier, tracks continuing education (CE) credits, syncs certifications and, in the site's words, protects non-dues revenue. Course sellers and certifiers can sell training, certify learners, protect content from redistribution and track revenue without stitching tools together.
Beyond those, MyPass runs extended enterprise training for customers, resellers and franchisees, and partner and channel training with per-partner reporting and certification. Its solution pages cover employee onboarding, continuous learning, sales enablement, customer education aimed at reducing churn, academic institutions and operational training, and its industry pages cover nonprofits, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, software and tech, consulting and retail.
Associations and CE credits
Association support is where MyPass is most specific. It offers native bidirectional integration with eight AMS platforms: iMIS, Nimble AMS, MemberClicks, Fonteva, NetForum, YourMembership, GrowthZone and Personify, with custom AMS integrations available through the API. The connection covers member roster sync, single sign-on (SSO), CE credit tracking, certification issuance and tier-based enrollment automation. The association guide on the site says AMS integration is included at every paid tier and that CE credit tracking handles partial credit, which matters in professions that award credit in fractions. In the home page dashboard demo, an AMS sync enrolls a batch of Gold members automatically, and a program for members tracks CE completion alongside compliance and onboarding programs.
Building and delivering courses
Course creation starts with an AI Course Builder that generates, packages and deploys courses, and a built-in SCORM authoring tool. MyPass supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 content, existing SCORM packages can be uploaded directly, and the FAQ says the platform also supports xAPI/Tin Can and AICC. Instructor-led training (ILT) sessions are supported with attendance tracking through Zoom and Microsoft Teams integration. AI multilingual translation is included, covering 120+ languages.
For assessment, MyPass includes AI exam proctoring in 3 tiers, without an add-on vendor. Content protection comes from enterprise DRM and per-learner watermarking. Selling is built in through ecommerce and a marketplace, and reporting comes from native dashboards that the demo shows tracking active learners, completion rates, compliance status and certification revenue. Kprise also sells MyPass DRM, a separate document DRM product with its own API.
WordPress and self-hosting
MyPass ships as a WordPress plugin, so an organization can run it inside an existing site. Single sign-on maps WordPress users to MyPass learners, the plugin inherits the site's theme, and courses can be embedded with a shortcode or a Gutenberg block. WooCommerce integration handles course sales without a separate ecommerce platform.
For organizations that prefer to run their own server, Kprise marked its 16th anniversary by releasing MyPass Community Edition: the core LMS platform with unlimited users and the essential learning features, at no cost and self-hosted. The site describes it as "Unzip and run" with no license key. The Windows bundle is available now, with macOS and Linux versions on the way.
Ready-made courses
MyPass comes with an off-the-shelf library of 29 courses in five packs, which the site describes as SCORM-ready, customizable and available the day a customer signs:
- Compliance Pack, 8 courses: HIPAA, GDPR, anti-harassment, cybersecurity awareness, OSHA and more.
- Workplace Skills, 6 courses: communication, time management, conflict resolution and other daily essentials.
- Manager Certification, 7 courses: first-time-manager fundamentals through advanced leadership, ending in a certification.
- Productivity, 4 courses: focus, output, async work and shipping faster.
- AI Readiness, 4 courses: prompt fundamentals, governance and role-specific uses of AI.
Custom courses can be ordered as well.
Pricing, setup and security
Pricing is published and flat. The Community Edition is free to self-host with unlimited registered users. Managed hosting costs $99/month for Shared Hosting and $319/month for Private Hosting, both with unlimited registered users and no per-seat fees. A 15-day free trial with no credit card is available on Shared Hosting, and verified nonprofits get 60 days. The home page illustrates the model with a 1,000-person roster: about $2,000 a month on a per-seat LMS, against $99 a month managed or free self-hosted on MyPass, while noting that "Your numbers will differ".
Setup is quick at the self-service end. The FAQ says a typical workspace is running within 10 minutes of signup, while a full implementation with AMS integration, SSO, branding and content migration takes 2 to 6 weeks depending on scope. MyPass runs on AWS infrastructure that holds FedRAMP authorization, with SOC 2 controls, encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control and configurable data residency. The FAQ is careful to say MyPass itself is not FedRAMP authorized, and it names federal contractors, healthcare organizations subject to HIPAA, and regulated finance training (FINRA, AML/KYC) as fits.
Customers and ratings
The home page shows ratings of 4.7 on Capterra, 4.7 on GetApp and 4.8 on Software Advice, and says 200+ organizations use MyPass. Its longest customer, the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence, has been on the platform for four years, scaled $1.2M in certification revenue through it, and went from contract to first cohort enrollment inside 30 days. A survey of customers cited on the page reports 70% less admin work on average after switching. Other reviewers describe launching training for 200+ employees in one day and delivering training to clients and partners worldwide through branded portals.
Who it suits and who it does not
MyPass suits associations and certification bodies that run CE programs on one of the eight supported AMS platforms and want credits, certifications and member access kept in step, along with nonprofits and member organizations whose roster is much larger than the number of people actively learning. Flat pricing with unlimited registered users means membership growth does not raise the bill. WordPress-based organizations can add it to their existing site, and teams with server skills can start on the free Community Edition.
Buyers who need the LMS itself to carry FedRAMP authorization should note the FAQ's distinction between MyPass and its AWS infrastructure, and the self-hosted edition currently runs on Windows only.
