MTS Link (МТС Линк) is a Russian platform for business communication, collaboration and online learning, and for a training team its two relevant services are MTS Link Courses and MTS Link Webinars. The home page describes the platform as running from video calls and a messenger to conferences for thousands of viewers and a full office suite, and lists meetings, chats, tasks, whiteboards, webinars, courses, forms, documents and drive, mail and meeting-room hardware among its services. The footer names Webinar Group as the company behind the MTS Link, Webinar, We.Study and Comdi trademarks, with a copyright line running from 2008. The home page says the company has 17 years on the communications market and that more than 10,000 companies trust it.

Building courses in MTS Link Courses

The company's guide to distance learning platforms, published on its own blog, describes MTS Link Courses as suited to teaching in schools and universities as well as to corporate training. In the course builder, a training team assembles a blended program that mixes self-study materials with live webinars and trainings, and can schedule either an online webinar or an in-person lesson with its location. Files of any type can be uploaded for viewing and download, session recordings are stored and organized by topic, and lessons can be uploaded in SCORM format, so content made in a separate authoring tool can be brought in. The editor is described as simple, with branding for course materials.

Assessment tools include tests, an interactive whiteboard with drawing tools, and splitting participants into groups. The blog says an AI assistant in MTS Link Courses checks answers in tests and quizzes instantly, even long-form answers. After an assessment, where the program and the organizers provide for it, learners can receive a certificate.

For administrators, a course assignment function puts courses in front of the right people, and email mailings go out to learners. The statistics section shows how effectively participants work through courses, how active they are in individual sessions and how they handle homework, including which assignments come harder and which easier. The FAQ on the same page lists per-participant progress, test and homework results, webinar attendance and time spent on materials, with summary reports by group and cohort. Learners can study from any device and browser. The service also includes course sales, so it can serve an organization that sells training as well as one that trains its own staff.

The same FAQ says MTS Link Courses combines a course builder, an online whiteboard, a webinar platform and testing in one service, and supports synchronous, asynchronous and blended learning. It lists gamification, autowebinars that simulate a live broadcast, simultaneous multilingual translation, the AI assistant for checking tests, and integrations with CRM systems, payment systems, analytics services and landing page builders among the service's functions, along with breakout groups, attention control and branding.

Live training in MTS Link Webinars

MTS Link Webinars is the live half of the training offer. The blog says it runs as an app, as desktop software and in the cloud, and lets an organizer hold live webinars, save them as recordings and collect analytics, with up to 10,000 participants and 100 speakers connected at once. Organizers can track rises and drops in audience interest during an event. The listed features include integration with corporate systems and calendars, simultaneous multilingual translation, autowebinars, an interactive whiteboard, breakout groups, tests and polls built with the MTS Link Forms service, attendance and attention control, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica integration with UTM tracking, email mailings, reactions such as raising a hand, and branding of the webinar room with an encoder. The home page describes the webinar service as a tool for online training of clients, partners and employees, with engagement tools, AI and statistics.

The blog names government organizations, large companies and universities as users, with the publisher Eksmo, M.Video, the universities МГУ and МГППУ and the pet store chain Four Paws as examples. On the home page, a case study on how M.Video trains its retail store sales staff carries the figure of 11,000 trained employees.

Plans, free use and trials

According to the blog, MTS Link Webinars comes in several plans, including a basic version that costs nothing, and paid plans start from 5,909 rubles a month. A banner on the same page offers the core functions at no charge and with no time limit: up to 30 participants per webinar, events of up to 60 minutes, a waiting room, engagement control, breakout groups, and tests and polls. MTS Link Courses can be tested with free access to all functions for 14 days after filling in a registration form. The home page FAQ says that registering on the platform gives access to a no-cost version, with a request form for teams that need more, and the main menu links to a tariffs page.

AI, security and deployment

AI runs across the platform. The home page credits it with search across chats and meetings, reminders of decisions and assigned tasks, transcription and meeting summaries, and cites the CNews AI Award 2025, which named it best AI platform in business communications. It says 89% of users are satisfied with transcription quality, that 1,500,000 events were transcribed on the platform in a year, and that a company saves 25,000 rubles per employee each month with AI. The company states that it does not train AI on user data, and that the AI features are available in the web version and on-premise.

On data handling, the home page says data is stored on Russian servers and processed in line with the personal data law 152-FZ, and the blog adds that the platform is listed in the register of domestic software. Access works through SSO with SAML, OAuth 2.0 and LDAP, and the platform integrates with DLP and SIEM systems for leak protection and action logging. A server version runs all the communication, training and collaboration services inside a company's own infrastructure, with AD/LDAP integration, SSO and SIP connection for video conferencing equipment.

Support and stability

Support runs 24/7 by phone, email, chat and the customer's personal account, backed by a knowledge base and a service status check. For important events a dedicated technical specialist can watch over the session, and a technical specialist can be invited straight into the event chat. The home page says MTS Link took first place for technical support quality in an IT-World rating, and that a J'son & Partners Consulting study of cloud video conferencing platforms in Russia, from May 2024, ranked it first for stability. It also lists a TAdviser IT Prize as platform of the year for business communications.

Who it suits

MTS Link suits Russian organizations that want training, webinars and day-to-day communication from one vendor, with data held on Russian servers: a retailer training store staff at scale, a university running lectures and blended courses, or a company that needs a server deployment for security reasons. The Courses service covers what a training team usually asks for, from SCORM import and course assignment to certificates and per-learner statistics, and Webinars handles very large live sessions with no-cost use for small ones.

It is a less natural pick for a team that wants a training tool alone and has no use for the meetings, chats and office services around it. Its pages are in Russian and its data promises are framed around Russian law and Russian infrastructure, so it is built first for organizations working in that market.
