What 学び〜と is
学び〜と (read まなびーと, at manabeat.com) is a Japanese-language e-learning system for organizations that run training at scale. The home page describes it as e-learning that supports large-scale employee training (大規模な社員研修を支える) and leads with three promises: easy course creation from slides, strong security, and a dedicated staff member who supports the customer through day-to-day operation. Its headline claim, "すべてそろって業界最安級," says that with everything included it is among the lowest-priced in the industry.
The product comes from SATT, Inc. (エスエイティーティー株式会社). The FAQ explains that SATT is a group company of the school corporation 学校法人駿河台学園, which runs the 駿台 prep schools across Japan, and that since its founding in 1986 SATT has worked on e-learning from before the format spread in Japan, building both educational content and systems. The site presents that school background as the reason its support goes beyond the software.
Who it is for
The site names three use scenes: internal training, education for agencies and stores, and school education. A column on the site breaks the buyers down further: HR and general affairs staff running compliance, security or manual-distribution training; teams that train agencies, stores nationwide, factories or group companies; and business planners who want to sell training content or deliver certification courses. The FAQ says the system handles everything from small department-level use to large operations with 500+ users, and recommends it especially to first-time e-learning buyers, to companies not getting full use from their current system, and to teams struggling to design and embed their training operation.
Building courses
Course creation is designed for staff without specialist skills. The home page pitch is to turn in-house documents into teaching material easily ("社内の資料を かんたん 教材化"), creating slide lessons from existing internal slide files, buying ready-to-use general materials, and producing content in volume "外注コストゼロ" (with zero outsourcing cost). The slide files it names are PowerPoint: "社内のパワーポイントからスライド教材を作成" (create slide materials from in-house PowerPoint files). In the browser, an intuitive drag-and-drop editor lets anyone build a lesson, and images and video drop straight in. The home page also states that AI-assisted material creation is supported ("AI教材作成に対応").
For teams that want help, the FAQ describes content production support: planning and design help in meetings, advice on how to run production, and, as options, video production and full SCORM course production on commission.
The course catalog
Alongside original content, SATT sells ready-made courses. The FAQ says the lineup covers 400 courses and 1,000+ teaching materials, "ビジネスマナーなどの基礎研修から、専門知識を学べる内容まで" (from basic training such as business manners to specialized knowledge). The home page adds that this existing content, spanning talent development, knowledge sharing and skills improvement, can be used from day one and combined with a company's own lessons.
Tests, assignments and adaptive paths
The confirmation test feature offers seven question formats, not only single and multiple choice but also fill-in-the-blank and ordering, with shuffled questions and options and time limits. Assignment management lets learners submit reports and tasks by typing directly or uploading a file, and administrators can check submission status, grade and comment from the admin screen.
Adaptive learning is built in: the materials a learner can take branch according to test and assignment scores, which the site recommends for matching content to each learner's understanding. Certificates of completion can be issued per course, using templates for quick setup.
Delivery at scale
The home page says delivery stays stable even with 100,000+ learners ("受講者が 10万人 以上でも安定した配信が可能") and invites companies with training for tens of thousands of staff to rely on it. Video runs on a dedicated streaming server prepared for each customer. MOV files are accepted, so videos shot and edited on a smartphone can be uploaded as they are, each video can be up to 2GB, and playback supports speed control and faster-than-normal viewing.
Bulk email reaches new users on registration and learners who have not started or have failed a course, with custom text and the option to send from the company's own email address. An API exposes user information, delivery settings and report data so the platform can connect to core internal systems and reduce manual work.
Group companies and multiple customers
A parent-child site function (親子サイト機能) is one of the platform's distinctive features. The home page says it allows group companies or multiple customers to be managed together, with administrative rights separated per group company or branch and a dedicated secure environment for each. The FAQ adds that the parent company can distribute materials to subsidiaries for group-wide training while each company also runs its own independent training. Administrators control delivery settings and permissions, and reports go down to individual answer data.
Selling training and own-brand use
学び〜と is open to commercial use. The home page invites companies that want to sell their own materials, saying the platform can be used for external sales in a training or consulting business. Site colors and logo can be changed, and because no SATT copyright appears inside the learner site, the home page presents it as suitable for running e-learning under the customer's own brand. SATT also recruits sales agents through a separate reseller program.
Security
The security list on the home page includes face authentication to prevent impersonation, ISMS cloud security certification, all basic functions such as IP restrictions, and separate delivery environments per organization to remove the risk of information leaks. The face recognition system is described as one rated first in the world in a benchmark test (アメリカ国立標準技術研究所のベンチマークテストで世界1位), and the site notes that a major transport infrastructure company uses it with 学び〜と.
Support and migration
Each customer gets a dedicated SATT staff member, strong in both IT and education, who acts as an operations consultant: designing the overall training flow, planning and analyzing improvement cycles, and staying involved after launch. The LMS column says a consultant is assigned per customer so operations can be discussed at any time, even years after introduction. The FAQ says migration from other e-learning systems is supported, including content and accumulated learning history, and SCORM compliance makes switching smoother. SATT will also help with subsidy applications and internal approval paperwork.
Plans and pricing
Prices are published on the home page, with no initial fee ("初期費用0円"):
- Plan 50, ¥16,500 a month for 50 users, ¥330 per person
- Plan 500, ¥110,000 a month for 500 users, ¥220 per person

A note adds that the 10,000-user plan works out to ¥66 per person and that there are more than 10 other plans, quoted on request. A 2-month free trial lets buyers test the real features.
Customers
Case studies on the home page include アシスト, which moved training on demand; トヨタ・コニック・プロ, which runs a secure external training environment supporting Toyota education on a scale of 80,000 (8万人) people; Kyoto University (京都大学), for an education program certified by the Minister of Education; the Cabinet Office (内閣府), where the Food Safety Commission trains food safety monitors nationwide; United Arrows (ユナイテッドアローズ), with smartphone learning; SOMPOヘルスサポート and 労務行政, both using parent-child sites to serve their own clients; Honda Access (ホンダアクセス), for dealer training; and アクアクララ, for franchise store training. The LMS column also describes a customer that used completion data to target follow-up interviews and raised three-year staff retention from 50% to over 60%.
Who it suits
学び〜と suits Japanese companies and schools that want low published per-user prices, slide-based course building by non-specialists, and a consultant who stays with them after launch. It is a strong match for groups with subsidiaries or franchise networks, for training businesses that want to sell under their own brand, and for organizations that need face authentication and per-organization environments. The caveat for international buyers is that the site and service are in Japanese.
