What Maestrus is

Maestrus is a Portuguese-language learning management system that serves two kinds of customer from one platform: companies that need to train staff and prove it, and schools, course producers and training businesses that teach and sell courses. The home page headline is "Plataforma LMS para treinar, comprovar e certificar" (an LMS platform to train, prove and certify). It explains that Maestrus brings online training, live classes and in-person sessions into a single operation, with acceptances, attendance, assessments and certificates kept in auditable reports. The tagline sums up the pitch: "O treinamento acontece. A prova fica." (The training happens. The proof stays.)

The company, MAESTRUS SOLUÇÕES DIGITAIS LTDA, says it has more than 10 years in digital education and training, has trained more than 432 mil (432,000) learners and professionals, and has served more than 5 mil (5,000) companies and institutions. It also states 99,9% platform availability.

Who it serves

The site splits its offer into corporate and educational solutions:

  • Corporate LMS centralizes classes, training, assessments, reports and certificates for employees, teams and partners.
  • LMS for compliance, NRs and SST gathers mandatory training (NRs are regulatory standards, SST is workplace health and safety) with access logs, assessments, attendance and auditable certificates across online, live and in-person activities.
  • LMS for consultancies and outsourced service firms lets a training provider serve several client companies with separate classes, reusable content, reports per contracting client and customized certificates.
  • LMS for educational institutions covers continuing education, extension programs and professional training with classes, teachers, attendance, payments and certification.
  • Platform for preparatory courses offers question banks, mock exams and live classes for public-service exams, medical residency and certifications, with recurring classes.
  • Platform to sell open courses gives course sellers their own site, integrated payments, a learner area and certification, "com mensalidade fixa e zero taxa da Maestrus sobre as vendas" (with a fixed monthly fee and zero Maestrus fee on sales).

Online, live and in-person in one record

Maestrus treats three formats as parts of the same training. Online courses carry videos, texts, files and assessments, and track progress, access time, grades and attempts. The page on selling courses lists the building blocks for a course as texts, images, videos, PDF files, quizzes and online exams.

Live classes can be scheduled on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or other external links, and clicks through the platform's button are logged. The home page highlights a native Zoom integration that also automates attendance, recording and completion of the class. For in-person sessions, administrators register the meeting, take roll and record attendance and hours ("faça a chamada e registre frequência e carga horária"), and learners can see their own attendance. Progress, access logs, attendance, assessments, acceptance terms and certificates all land in each learner's history.

Proof and certification

The compliance flow runs in four steps on the home page. First, a registered acceptance records which version of a term the learner accepted and generates a PDF with content, course, date, time and IP address. Second, participation is tracked through logs, progress, time spent and attendance. Third, approval follows criteria: a minimum grade, required time in lessons, required activities and a limit on exam attempts. Fourth, certificates are verifiable: "Emita certificados com QR Code, ID único, ementa, assinaturas e validade" (issue certificates with a QR code, a unique ID, the syllabus, signatures and a validity date).

Reports show attendance, assessments, answers, progress, training history and certificates issued, organized by learner, course and class. The FAQ says these records help managers follow training and present the information needed in audits.

Reusable content and AI

A lesson library (Biblioteca de Aulas) lets teams write shared material once and reuse it across courses, such as policies, procedures and common modules, then add course-specific content for each audience or client. Separators split longer lessons into sections that become the lesson's internal menu, and a where-used view shows which courses rely on each library item before anyone edits it.

The AI feature is a connector rather than a built-in model. An organization can connect its own ChatGPT to Maestrus and create lesson content through conversation, writing formatted text, adding separators and saving the result to the library. The site notes the feature is enabled on request and runs on the customer's own AI subscription, and that the customer's team sets the guidelines, reviews the content and decides what is used.

Access and administration

Learners can sign in with an email address, a CPF taxpayer number or an enrollment number, so field and operational staff do not need a corporate email. Organizations with central identity management can use SSO with their identity provider and restrict access to authorized domains. The platform runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones.

On the management side, administrators, teachers and tutors get panels suited to their roles, with activities, comments and support tickets. Learners can be organized by classes, tags and profiles. Batch actions, last-access tracking and data export cut routine work.

Selling courses

For course sellers, Maestrus can work in two ways. An organization that already has a website keeps it and sends learners to a direct link for a course or class, using Maestrus for payments, enrollment, content, tracking and certification. An organization that wants a complete setup gets a site integrated with the platform, with a course catalog, e-commerce, a blog, a contact form and its own domain or a subdomain.

Paid courses are collected through a checkout integrated with Asaas. The site is specific about fees: "Taxas do meio de pagamento são aplicáveis. Sem percentual das vendas para a Maestrus." (Payment method fees apply. No percentage of sales goes to Maestrus.) The page on selling courses adds unlimited lead capture with free content, described as "iscas digitais" (lead magnets), that does not count against the plan's learner allowance, a blog at no extra cost, and a learner area adapted to mobile devices. It also mentions that an entrepreneur can build an EdTech business by reselling Maestrus as their own platform.

Plans, trial and support

The site links to a plans page and offers "Teste grátis por 7 dias" (a free 7-day trial), plus a free personalized demo. The FAQ explains how plan limits work: each plan sets the number of active learners, and when a group finishes, administrators can deactivate those learners, in bulk if needed, to free places for new classes. Customers can move up or down a plan as demand changes, and plans are monthly "sem contrato de fidelidade" (with no lock-in contract).

Implementation is part of the service. The home page lists five stages: understanding the operation, visual setup of brand and colors, help with first configuration and access, ongoing human support by chat "sem robôs" (without bots), and a monthly partnership. The level of implementation and follow-up depends on the plan.

Who it suits

Maestrus fits Portuguese-speaking organizations that must show evidence of training, especially for mandatory safety and compliance programs, and that mix online, live and classroom sessions. Consultancies that deliver training to several client companies get separate classes and reports per client. Schools, exam-prep providers and course sellers get a site, checkout and certificates with no Maestrus fee on sales. The main caveat is language: the site and product are in Portuguese, and login options such as the CPF number show which market it is designed for.
