What Looop by 360Learning is
Looop by 360Learning is a learning management system for in-house L&D teams, built on the idea that most of an L&D team's week goes on admin rather than learning. The home page introduces it as a new team member: "Looop by 360Learning helps automate L&D: compliance, onboarding, manager training, partner training, sales training, customer education... you name it. Why? So your L&D team can focus on impact, not admin." The product page calls it "the teammate you never knew you needed," with "all the features of a next-gen LMS, a UX to match, and an automation engine that gives L&D teams their days back."
The company behind the site is Looop by 360Learning Online Limited, according to the footer. Its approach differs from course-first LMSs in two ways: content is organized around short resources rather than long courses, and those resources are pushed to people where they already work instead of waiting in a portal. The site also takes a clear stance on fashion. It says the product "is built for learning, not gimmicks. No fake AI, gamification, or micro-anything. Just impact."
The automation engine
Automation is the center of the product. The product page explains that Looop takes the ideas of marketing automation into the LMS, and that teams "Use smart rules, conditions and triggers to deliver resources directly to learners." The home page puts the scale plainly: "Send resources & comms to 100 or 100,000 users... automatically," and promises that the system "does the grunt work so you never have to chase anyone again."
The working unit is a campaign. The home page's "How it works" line is "Create campaigns" to "Deliver helpful resources at the point of need." Automation templates are included, so a team can "launch sophisticated campaigns without the set-up-from-scratch hassle," and the platform ships with ready-to-modify kickstarter content to start from.
Taking learning to the learner
Looop's product page argues that a training portal alone fails: "If you build it they... won't come." Instead, it sends content "direct to your learner's inbox, Slack or Teams channel, or phone (via Looop by 360Learning app or SMS)." The same page notes that emails can be personalized "so it's from Compliance, HR, or the CEO" to lift open rates, and that resources can go to "employees, partners, & customers" when they need them. Site banners are listed among the delivery channels too.
There are native apps for iPhone and Android. The pricing FAQ confirms that the mobile app works on "an iOS (Apple) or Android device," and says anything you create "is automatically designed and formatted for mobile."
Building content
Looop is built around resources, and the resource builder is meant for non-specialists: "No special skills needed, just jump right in and start making helpful mixed-media resources." The pricing FAQ makes the same point with "if you can use Microsoft Office, you can use Looop by 360Learning!" Every plan includes "Unlimited content creation," "Unlimited quizzes and workbooks" and "Unlimited video & screencast uploads."
Existing content can come in as SCORM, xAPI, cmi5 or AICC packages, and LinkedIn Learning is listed as a content integration. The product page says "bringing in your existing SCORM or xAPI content is a breeze."
Pathways, certificates and evidence
For structured programs, Looop offers Pathways, which guide users through a selected sequence of resources and "use quizzes to make learning stick." Certificates go "to learners who complete resources, events, or pathways," which the site calls "Great for compliance." An Evidence feature asks learners to "demonstrate their skills on video & Looop by 360Learning will assess their performance," a useful option for practical skills that a quiz cannot test.
The wider feature list on the product page covers surveys, events, workspaces for grouping users, dashboards, community, ratings, custom look and feel, running under your own domain, and roles. One customer quoted on the home page, Nick Taylor, Head of L&D at Howsy, describes it this way: "Looop isn't just an LMS, it's a lot more. It's our internal comms tool, our survey tool, our intranet, and it's allowed us to move from a course to a resource-based L&D approach."
Reporting
The reporting section is headed "See what's working & what's not." It includes engagement metrics to check that "comms & resources are reaching their audience," dashboards that show "the big picture as well as audience-specific performance," automatic user ratings of resources to "Discover what resonates and what to fix," and an ROI view to "Benchmark L&D initiatives against business metrics, prove ROI, & build critical feedback loops." Every plan includes "Unlimited reports tracking."
Integrations
Looop lists its integrations in three groups. For users and office tools: Google SSO, Google Drive, a SCIM/REST API, Microsoft SSO, OneDrive, SharePoint, Salesforce, Okta, Centrify, OneLogin, Jumpcloud, Fourth, Oak and Rock RMS. For chat and communications: Slack, Microsoft Teams, banners, the iOS and Android app, email and SMS. For content: SCORM, xAPI, cmi5, LinkedIn Learning, AICC and the Resource Builder. The product page adds that teams can "Use Looop by 360Learning's open API to build your own integrations."
Plans and pricing
Looop prices by the number of users, in four bands, each marked "Contact us for pricing":
- Small Business, up to 50 users
- Mid Size Business, up to 250 users
- Enterprise, up to 500 users
- Enterprise plus, more than 500 users
All plans include the same core list: "Mobile-ready delivery," "Flexible roles and permissions," "Secure cloud hosting," "Automatic content backups," "Friendly tech support," unlimited content creation, quizzes, reports and video uploads, and "Customizable branding." The pricing FAQ defines a user as "Anyone who can access your training," and archived users "no longer count against your total user number." An organization that falls between bands, for example at 100 users, can get "a tailored price based upon the exact number of users." If you exceed your band, Looop says it will alert you at the start of the next pay period and let you upgrade before charging your card.
The trial comes after a short demo. The FAQ explains that "After a quick live demo, we'll set you up with a free trial," and that you can "Take Looop by 360Learning for a whirl for 7 days, risk-free," with payment details requested only when you sign up. Live demos usually run 20 to 30 minutes or less. Nonprofits can ask about discounts, and the FAQ invites buyers to talk about different payment terms.
Customers and community
The pricing page quotes Tracy Waters, Head of People Development at Sky: "We are now aligned with tech & marketing. With Looop by 360Learning we can put digital, data and the user experience at the heart of what we do." Case studies on the home page cover ASOS, Discovery and Edwardian Hotels. Customers can join an "exclusive user community where users share clever ways to solve tough L&D problems," and regular success sessions show where the product is heading. The company also runs a Learning & Development podcast hosted by David James and a free 10-day LMS Buyer's Guide course.
Who it suits
Looop suits L&D teams that spend too much time assigning, chasing and reminding, and would rather set rules once and let the system deliver short resources by email, chat, SMS or app. It fits companies that live in Slack or Microsoft Teams, those already on Google or Microsoft single sign-on, and teams that want to treat learning partly as internal communications. Buyers who want AI authoring or gamification should note the site's own statement that it avoids both, and every band is priced on request, so cost becomes clear only after the demo.
