LearnRight is an Irish learning management system for organizations that train employees, partners, franchisees, customers and members on one branded platform. The company's blog calls it "an Irish LMS built specifically for the needs of Irish businesses", and the contact details give an office address in Waterford, Ireland, with phone lines for Ireland and the UK. It is a cloud-based business LMS bought through a demo and a pricing enquiry. Its pitch rests on three things: a wide set of community tools included with the platform, a named onboarding specialist for every customer, and EU data storage designed around GDPR.
Five audiences on one platform
The home page sorts its solutions into five groups of learners, and the product is meant to serve several of them at once.
Staff. The platform is pitched for onboarding new employees and upskilling current ones: build online courses, share files in the drive, monitor progress through reports and open discussion in a private forum. In the site's words, "It can work just like an intranet."
Partners. Partner training is described as building understanding of "your company, your products, and your cooperative goals", with the aim of long-lasting partnerships.
Franchises. Franchise networks get shared training materials, connections between franchise members and a fully on-brand learning interface, so each location trains the same way.
Customers and clients. This is the customer-education side of the product. Online product courses help customers get value from what they bought, which the site ties to loyalty and a growing client base.
Memberships. Associations and member organizations get private discussion forums, user role management and a shared community drive.
A longer use-case list adds employee development, sales training, product training, compliance training and education courses. The sectors the site says it serves run from public sector, healthcare and financial services to retail, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, higher education, associations and nonprofit organizations.
Building and delivering training
LearnRight bills itself as "Your all-in-one training solution that tracks learning retention & measures results." Course creators build training modules, assign them, monitor progress and define what success looks like. The learning environment covers assignments and quizzes, video conferencing and message boards, and one customer quote mentions staff earning badges as they complete each training level. A calendar and events tool schedules in-person and virtual sessions and tracks and records attendance, which matters for organizations that mix online modules with classroom days.
The company's blog says the platform is designed to be run without IT involvement, and that structured onboarding workflows and audit-ready compliance reporting are part of the core product rather than add-ons. Its FAQ adds that onboarding, compliance training and ongoing development are handled within the same platform, so training records sit in one place and employees learn one system.
The look of the platform is fully brandable. Administrators can change logos, icons, backgrounds, fonts and colors, and the site describes the learner interface as white labeled. LearnRight also connects to an organization's own website, which the site says lets learners move from the website into training so smoothly that they "will never know they've left your site."
Reporting is built around downloadable reports. The site says administrators can create instant reports and track learners' progress, knowledge retention, learning outcomes and how they apply the training in their roles.
Included add-ons
The home page lists six tools under "Included add ons":
- Drive: private, secure file drives. Files can be public or restricted to specific users, groups or courses, and users can be given permission to contribute files or view-only access.
- Forums: private discussion forums for each group or course, with moderators controlling roles and access.
- Messaging: direct, real-time messaging between users, who can manage contacts and send links to files and images.
- Directory: a searchable directory of user profiles with connections and live communication, which the site compares to LinkedIn and says can double as an organizational chart.
- Monetization: selling courses online, with options for groups, single courses or access to the whole portal, charged as one-time or recurring fees and paid through Stripe.
- Calendar and events: scheduling, organizing and attendance tracking, as described above.
The monetization option is what lets an association, a training company or a customer-education team charge for access, not only train its own people.
Integrations, migration and support
On integrations the home page says: "From Stripe to Zapier, SalesForce to Zoom we have you covered, our open API integrates with anything." It adds that its development team rolls out new integrations and features continually.
For organizations leaving another LMS, LearnRight offers a migration service. The site says a dedicated team moves existing content, courses and user data across by following a structured migration plan.
Support comes in two layers. Every customer is assigned an onboarding specialist "charged with ensuring your course creation and employee training is a success," from initial setup to ongoing support. The home page also promises "actually helpful global, 24/7 support", and the blog describes a support team based in Ireland that works during Irish business hours and understands the local regulatory setting.
On data protection, the blog says the platform "is GDPR-compliant with EU data storage", and treats EU storage and Irish and EU data protection obligations as a requirement for any LMS holding employee training records.
Pricing and buying
The site publishes no prices on its home page or blog. A Get pricing form asks for the buyer's industry and number of users, and the blog says LearnRight "offers transparent pricing" with full details on its pricing page, describing the platform as priced to scale with the team. The usual route in is a tour or a demo; the blog advises buyers to ask for a demo showing the administrator, manager and employee views rather than only the admin screen.
Three customers speak on the home page. Turlough O'Brien of Cleaning Contractors says "My staff say compliance training is easier and more enjoyable with LearnRight". Sinead McArdle of ISQua says "Our training completion rates are higher than ever" and that they can train thousands of members at the same time. Keelan Bourke of Retail Excellence Ireland says they get "fewer calls for support thanks to our members having an easy-to-use training system on hand whenever they need it."
Who it suits
LearnRight suits an Irish organization that wants its LMS provider in Ireland, its data in the EU and a named person helping with setup. It fits especially well where one platform has to serve several groups: a company onboarding staff while also training resellers or franchisees, or an association that trains members, runs events and sells course access. The forums, drive, messaging, directory and events tools give it more of a community and intranet feel than a plain course library, and the monetization option suits bodies that charge for training. Compliance-focused employers get badges, completion records and reporting in the same place as onboarding.
The trade-off is the buying process. Pricing and the finer detail of each feature come through a demo and a sales conversation rather than a public price list, so a small team that wants to sign up and start the same afternoon has a few more steps to take than on a self-serve course tool.
