What IC Grupo offers
IC Grupo, which trades as Innovación y Cualificación and is based in Antequera, Málaga, sells two things to organizations that run training: SputnIC, a learning management system, and a large catalog of ready-made SCORM courses. Both are built around SEPE and FUNDAE, the public bodies whose requirements govern subsidized training, and the site addresses three kinds of buyer: training centers that deliver courses, companies training their own staff with FUNDAE credits, and public bodies. The reader is therefore a training manager, an HR team or a training provider, not an individual learner. The company also runs a technical bookshop, iceditorial.com, and a blog on e-learning platforms and content.
The site describes SputnIC as "Plataforma LMS compatible con SEPE y FUNDAE, con IA integrada en cada rincón" (an LMS compatible with SEPE and FUNDAE, with AI built into every corner), and says the content "Contamos con un amplio catálogo de contenidos SCORM listos para integrarlos en tu LMS" (a broad catalog of SCORM content ready to plug into your LMS).
The SputnIC platform
SputnIC combines self-paced courses with a virtual classroom. The platform page puts it as "Imparte clases online mediante videoconferencia con 2 salas y espacio para 100 alumnos cada una, con posibilidad de ampliar" (live online classes by videoconference in two rooms, with room to expand), and says the classroom handles online classes, tutorials, follow-up sessions and webinars, with an activity log and session recording. It also includes the modules the various administrations require for SEPE and FUNDAE training.
The reporting side covers progress, participation, completion, access and course performance, shown as visual reports reachable from anywhere in the LMS. Learners see a progress bar, administrators get dropout alerts, and different roles and profiles can be assigned to supervise training. A sample dashboard on the page shows a FUNDAE cohort with average progress, students at risk and a pass rate, plus an alert offering to send an automatic email to students with no activity for more than 7 days.
The platform connects to outside material: videos, documents, links, embedded resources, external tools and content hosted outside the LMS, with add-on modules to extend it. It supports H5P interactive activities and issues certificates automatically.
AI runs through the platform, in the company's words "No es un módulo de IA. Es la plataforma entera." (It is not an AI module, it is the whole platform.) The AI assistants answer learner questions and adapt training to each student's level. One assistant, IChat, sits inside the course to give context-aware support, generate instant summaries of the syllabus, create personalized practice tests and let learners send quick questions to the tutor's WhatsApp. NEXUS turns existing course content into new formats on the learner's request: audio versions, dynamic summaries, interactive visual diagrams and resources for studying on the move, sent by WhatsApp, email or a Drive link. A third tool, LumIA, is a course finder that asks a learner or company a few questions and suggests matching courses.
Three ways to use it
The platform page splits buyers into three groups. Training centers get a platform under their own domain and branding, a direct connection to SEPE and FUNDAE and a public catalog built for search engines, with the promise "Tu marca, en marcha en 2 semanas" (your brand, live in 2 weeks). Companies get a platform and content ready to manage their FUNDAE credits, learning paths by job and department, onboarding training and technical support. Public bodies get "ENS Medio y ISO 27001", a full activity report, and support and training for administrators.
The SCORM course catalog
The content side is the larger part of the business. The content page leads with "+900 Acciones formativas" (900+ training actions) and "Más de 140.000 horas de contenido listas para desplegar" (more than 140,000 hours of content ready to deploy). The platform page separately mentions a catalog of more than 5.000 online contents. Courses are both produced in-house and sourced externally, with monthly updates, a pedagogical script and professional review, and the page says they are adapted to SEPE and FUNDAE requirements for professional certificates and training specialties. Collections include training specialties, professional certificates, professional training and DIGCOMP digital skills modules.
The examples shown give a feel for the range: digital disconnection at work (15h), electronic invoicing (30h), IT security management in companies (100h), responding to sexual harassment (20h), basic occupational risk prevention (50h), food handling for restaurants (10h), stress control (20h), artificial intelligence applied to business (40h), ChatGPT and artificial intelligence (30h), first aid (30h), Excel 365 (30h), management skills and team leadership (65h), teaching accreditation for online training (60h), the European data protection regulation (15h), WhatsApp for business (15h), Instagram marketing (20h) and sustainability in production (30h). There is even a 40h course on administering Moodle platforms.
Each course is described as responsive and interactive, with sector-specific practical courses, interactions and formative assessment. On accessibility the page says every course meets criteria for contrast, keyboard navigation, transcripts and screen reading, "Adaptados a la Ley de Accesibilidad Europea (EAA)", and a sample audit panel shows WCAG 2.1 AA results and subtitles in two languages.
The courses also work outside SputnIC. The page says a delivered package "abre en cualquier LMS, sin tocar una línea de código" (opens in any LMS without touching a line of code), comes without watermarks and with technical help during integration, and that the company's content is "Implementados en +1000 campus". The format badges shown are SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and LTI.
Custom content and demos
For courses that do not exist yet, the company says: "Producimos contenidos a medida en 4–6 semanas." The client supplies the knowledge and IC Grupo handles script, voice, design and SCORM integration. It also converts an existing training project into SCORM courses.
To try SputnIC, a form activates a 10-day demo with access details sent by email, and the company offers a personalized demo with the client's own courses loaded and an administrator account in under 48 hours, without commitment. The site publishes no prices for the platform or the catalog; proposals are prepared after a contact form, including a dedicated form for companies that want to plan their FUNDAE training.
Who it suits
IC Grupo fits training centers and employers whose courses are funded through FUNDAE or run under SEPE rules, because the platform and the catalog are both shaped around those requirements. A training center that wants its own branded campus with a ready catalog, live classrooms and certificates can start quickly, and a company with an LMS already in place can buy SCORM courses alone. Organizations outside that subsidized training system can still use the catalog, but much of the platform's value lies in its fit with SEPE and FUNDAE.
