EdzLMS is an AI-first learning management system from the company that brands itself edzlearn, built for organizations that want to measure training by what people can do afterwards rather than by completions. Its homepage headline is "Stop Tracking Completions. Start Building Capability." The problem it says it set out to fix is that organizations were spending heavily on training and then finding out during audits, client meetings or performance reviews that nothing had changed. In the site's words: "A completed module is not a skill. A certificate is not readiness."

The answer it describes is AI at every layer of the platform instead of a chatbot added to an older LMS. Enterprises, academic institutions and fast-scaling teams are the three audiences the homepage names, and the industries it lists are corporate L&D, pharma and life sciences, healthcare, banking and finance, universities, retail and FMCG, manufacturing, and government. Named customers include Eduopen, AIMA, GarbhaGudi and Bennett University. The homepage's headline figures are 500,000+ learners, an 85% engagement lift, 10 industries and 14 countries.

Five AI systems on one learner record

The product is organized as five AI systems that share one learner record.

AI Course Builder (Content AI, system 01). Upload a PDF, a deck or an SOP and get a full course with modules, lessons and assessments in under a minute, in your own tone. The homepage gives the average document-to-course time as 58 seconds.

AI Assessment Engine (Evaluation AI, system 02). It generates multiple-choice questions, scenario questions and case studies, then scores open responses against your rubric, with coaching feedback.

Study with AI (Tutor AI, system 03). A tutor available 24/7 and grounded in your content rather than the open internet. It answers with citations, surfaces gaps and keeps quizzing until the idea sticks. The site describes its answers as cited and 100% on-content.

AI RolePlay (Practice AI, system 04). Voice-first practice against industry personas such as buyers, patients and callers, with live scoring on the skills that matter. Personas can be custom.

Onboarding AI Agent (Workflow AI, system 05). It connects to your HRIS and assigns the right learning path the moment a new hire is created.

Building a course

The workflow on the homepage has three steps. You upload a source, which can be a policy PDF, a product deck, an SOP or a recorded webinar, in any format and any length. The AI then generates modules, lessons, assessments and a scored roleplay in your tone, mapped to skills, in under 60 seconds. You review and edit anything, then push the course to a cohort, and learners can start the same day. One testimonial, from the head of L&D at a pharmaceutical company with a 1,200-person field force, says a compliance course that used to take 3 weeks was generated in under a minute: the builder took a regulatory document and produced 14 modules with quizzes, narration and a learning path.

For content built by people, EdzLMS also sells a Content Studio: SCORM and xAPI packages, AI-generated video and scenario simulations, built by instructional designers in 10+ languages. Its services menu adds LMS development, content development, DevOps support and a SCORM analyser.

Roleplay and scenarios

AI roleplay is the feature EdzLMS sells hardest, and it also runs as a product of its own called Gelato RolePlay, aimed at sales, service and leadership conversations. The FAQ explains how it works: the learner holds a live conversation with an AI playing the other side, by voice or in text. The AI stays in character, interrupts, pushes back and reacts to what is actually said, so no two attempts run the same way. Each scenario carries its own rubric, scoring things like discovery, objection handling, tone and required compliance wording, and the learner gets a scored report afterwards. The homepage claims sub-second latency for the voice mode. The Gelato menu also lists an AI tutor, mock interviews and corporate experiential learning.

Scenario-based learning is the other format: decision-led scenarios and case studies generated from your own material and scored against your rubric, where the learner makes a call and sees what it costs before facing the real thing. One testimonial, from a B2B SaaS company with 280 sales reps, says reps who used to shadow for 6 weeks now do 12 AI practice sessions and go live in 2 weeks.

Automation for compliance and onboarding

Enrollment is rule-driven. The FAQ says access can follow department, role, location or any combination, reading your own profile fields or syncing from an HRMS such as Keka, so a role change updates the learning path without anyone touching it. Reminders go out on your schedule, before, on and after the due date, by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and escalate to the line manager and the L&D manager once a deadline passes. Expiring certifications re-assign themselves for renewal.

Managers see their own team without admin rights: who is complete, who is overdue and how people scored, with reports that run on a schedule and arrive by email. For audits, evidence is logged per learner rather than per course, and completions and skill scores roll into one record with exportable reports.

Reporting

The analytics view tracks team and individual skills over time and raises automatic "needs attention" flags. The homepage shows a sample cohort skill report for a field force of 1,200 learners in one quarter: 94% completion (up 12 points), an average score of 81 (up 8 points), 3.1k roleplays (up 18%) and 4 learners flagged for coaching, with a skill progression panel covering the last 90 days. The site also claims an 85% average course completion rate.

For universities and academies

Academic use centers on the tutor, which answers students around the clock, cites its sources and gives faculty insight reports on where cohorts are stuck. A director of digital education at a private university with 4,800 students says the study assistant cut support tickets by 34%. EdzLMS also offers a white label LMS, which its guide says is built for Indian EdTech and training businesses that want a platform under their own logo, colors and domain, and a branded iOS and Android app with push reminders, certificates and gamification, published to both stores in four to six weeks.

Migration, security and data

EdzLMS can replace an existing LMS. Users, course structures and completion history migrate across, and SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and xAPI packages upload as they are. The FAQ says most teams run both systems side by side for a cycle, move compliance first, and retire the old system once the audit trail has moved.

The FAQ states that EdzLMS is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, encrypts data in transit and at rest, uses role-based least-privilege admin access, and supports single sign-on. It answers yes to being GDPR-ready: the hosting region is chosen to suit the customer, a data processing agreement is available, learner rights such as access, export and erasure are handled in the product, and retention periods are configurable. Backups run twice a day, encrypted, with the last seven days retained and kept apart from the running environment.

Pricing and demos

The site publishes no prices. The route in is a demo: bring one document to a 30-minute call and the team builds a live course and a scored roleplay from it, and the blog offers a 45-minute demo tailored to your industry. The demo section promises no credit card, full AI features and setup in minutes.

Who it suits

EdzLMS suits training teams that need proof of skill rather than attendance: pharma and healthcare compliance with audit trails, sales and service teams that need practice before live calls, and HR teams that want new hires enrolled automatically from the HR system. Universities get a tutor and insight reports, and education businesses get white-label and branded-app options. The caveat is that the platform's case rests on its AI, so a buyer should use the demo with real material to judge the generated courses and roleplay scoring before committing.
