What eCom is
eCom Learning Solutions is a digital learning and assessment company that sells its own suite of cloud platforms, the eNet products, alongside ready-made and custom eLearning content. The footer explains that the name is a trading name of eCom Scotland Ltd, with an office in Dunfermline, Scotland, and of eCom USA Learning Solutions LLC, registered in the State of Georgia with an office in Houston. The homepage headline is "Trusted partners in digital learning and assessment," and the pitch that follows is three short lines: "Prove training is working. Show your standards in action. Stand up to scrutiny."
That focus on proof runs through the whole site. eCom is aimed at organizations that need to show, rather than simply record, that their people are competent: professional and awarding bodies running exams, employers in regulated sectors, and organizations certifying people in many countries. The FAQ argues that "Looking beyond course completions to evidence of competence and performance helps you understand whether learning has made a real difference."
The eNet platforms
The suite has six named products, and the homepage says this "powerful suite of cloud-based digital learning platforms and tools have been integrated into client systems globally."
- eNetLearn is the learning management system, built to "Deliver and organise digital learning with powerful tracking and reporting."
- eNetAssess is the online assessment platform, used to "Create, deliver, and manage exams and assessments securely." The menu describes it as flexible and secure online assessment software for high-stakes assessments and exams.
- eNetEnterprise is the learner engagement platform, used to "Deliver training, track progress, and build lasting connections with learners."
- eNetBadges is the digital credentialing platform, used to "Issue verifiable badges that recognise achievement."
- eNetReality is a VR authoring tool for building immersive learning and assessment experiences with no coding required.
- eNetAuthor is the eLearning authoring tool, meant to "Enable eLearning teams to create content and collaborate more effectively."
Taken together, the products cover the chain from making content to proving the result. A team can write courses in eNetAuthor or build VR scenarios in eNetReality, deliver them through eNetLearn or eNetEnterprise, test people in eNetAssess, and recognize what they achieved with a badge from eNetBadges. Each product is sold under its own name, so an organization that only needs exam delivery or only needs an LMS can start there.
Assessment
Assessment is where eCom spends the most words. The FAQ says digital assessment covers "everything from knowledge checks and formative assessments to practical tests and high-stakes examinations," and that the right setup depends on what is being measured, how the results will be used and "the level of assurance you need to have confidence in the results." The homepage promises "accessible, reliable assessments at scale," and the FAQ says the company's assessment expertise and technology let clients create "valid, reliable assessments with proportionate levels of security." In practice that means a quick knowledge check and a licensing exam can be run with different levels of security rather than one fixed model.
The company backs this with material on exam integrity, including an on-demand webinar, "Digital Exam Integrity in an Era of AI and Smart Devices," and recent blog posts on secure assessment and on accessible learning.
Ready-made and bespoke content
Organizations that do not want to build everything themselves have two content routes. Ready-Made Content offers "Thousands of evidence-based eLearning courses, to suit your audience and your goals." Bespoke eLearning Content is "Custom digital learning content to engage your learners, wherever they are." The homepage says eCom's online learning products and services, "from online learning to VR are effective, measurable and flexible," and adds: "We emphasise instructional, regulatory, and technical integrity."
AI in the suite
eCom states its position on AI plainly. It views AI "as a supportive capability, not a replacement for people, expertise or professional judgement," and says AI within the eNet platform suite "is designed to reduce friction, improve access and streamline workflows while keeping learning design, assessment integrity and decision making firmly in human hands." A news item announces iQ, described as an AI add-on for transforming ideas into smart questions, which fits the assessment focus.
Clients and results
The homepage quotes three clients. The British Council case says "Agents and counsellors from 130 countries use the British Council eLearning resource, an increase of 300% on the previous year." Zdenek Sehnal, CEO of IWCF, says eCom has "provided us with an online system that has been innovative and scalable to meet our current stakeholder demands," and Christine Telford of OGICA says "The system truly offers anywhere, anytime self-assessment around the world." The blog also links a case study on competency tracking at Aviagen.
Working with eCom
The company lists its reasons to choose it as flexibility for simple to complex learning and assessment scenarios, service delivery options designed around the client, a long-term customer care and performance mindset, and breadth and depth of digital learning experience. Existing clients have a customer care support channel, and the support menu includes a route to submit an RFI or ITT, which signals that eCom expects formal procurement. The site publishes no prices. Contact runs through phone lines in the UK and the US and a shared email address, and the site has separate UK and US versions.
The resources section holds case studies, a library, a blog, news, a "Thinking Zone" and an FAQ. The blog leans toward workforce skills, arguing for learning delivered "in the flow of work," continuous coaching and feedback, and experiential learning for hybrid teams, and points to further eCom material such as a webinar on digital learning strategy for the future of work and a white paper on eLearning for a hybrid workforce. The About section covers the company's history and values, its leadership team and its social value commitments, which the "Why choose" list sums up as corporate and personal responsibility.
Who it suits
eCom suits professional bodies, awarding organizations and employers whose training ends in an exam or a competence sign-off that has to stand up to scrutiny. Organizations in regulated fields, those running high-stakes tests, and international bodies training people across many countries, as the British Council case shows, are its clearest fit. Teams that want to build their own VR assessments without developers, or issue verifiable badges, get those tools from the same vendor as the LMS.
A small company that wants to host a few courses with a published monthly price will find a sales-led, procurement-style process here instead.
