What Cursum is
Cursum is an AI-driven learning platform for companies, built to do three jobs at once: train employees, educate customers and sell courses. The homepage headline, in Danish, is "Træn medarbejdere, uddan kunder og sælg kurser" (train employees, educate customers and sell courses), and the company describes its offer as a learning experience with "AI-drevne funktioner, socialt fællesskab og direkte integration i din teams hverdag" (AI-driven features, social community and direct integration into your team's everyday work). The platform itself is called Learning Center, which the platform page bills as "Nordens mest fleksible og kraftfulde læringsplatform" (the Nordic region's most flexible and powerful learning platform). The company behind it is Cursum A/S, and its site is published in Danish with an English language option.
The homepage gives three scale figures: "350+ virksomheder bruger Cursum" (350+ companies use Cursum), "1.5m kurser gennemført" (1.5m courses completed) and "300k+ aktive brugere" (300k+ active users).
Building courses
Course creation runs through an editor and an AI assistant. The platform page describes the course editor as drag and drop, with multimedia, quizzes and certificates added straight into a course, and promises that admins can "Opret dine kurser på få minutter" (create your courses in a few minutes) with AI-driven automation. Cursum AI handles the routine work: it can create a quiz, suggest text, generate a course outline and draft a new learning plan. The homepage adds that it turns files and other material into learning modules, suggests improvements to course content, and recommends relevant content based on a learner's earlier activity and performance.
Existing e-learning comes along without a rebuild. The platform page says Cursum imports "SCORM, XAPI, CMI5 og LTI med struktur fuldt konserveret" (SCORM, xAPI, cmi5 and LTI with the structure fully preserved), which matters for a company moving from another LMS or buying content from an authoring tool.
The learning formats the platform page lists are learning plans, compliance training, physical (classroom) courses and e-learning, plus certificates and learning paths. Compliance gets its own pitch: Cursum says it can turn mandatory training into "en interaktiv oplevelse, som medarbejderne rent faktisk kan lide" (an interactive experience employees actually like), and it lists policy and regulations, e-learning modules and certifications under that heading.
Running internal training
For learners, the platform page promises an intuitive interface that works smoothly across all devices. For administrators, Cursum promises simple user management with clear reports. Dashboards show real-time data on user engagement and progress, which the homepage frames as data for improving and optimizing the program. A note on the contact form says organizations can create separate learning environments by dividing users and courses according to their language, location and role in the company.
Engagement is a recurring theme. "Læring er sjovere sammen" (learning is more fun together), the homepage says, and the platform combines community with game mechanics: challenges and leaderboards, points and achievements, and discussions and knowledge sharing among learners. The homepage shows a leaderboard with weekly kudos to illustrate it.
Learning also reaches people inside the tools they use every day. The integrations listed are Microsoft Teams, HR and CRM systems, payment gateways, single sign-on, third-party tools and API access.
Selling courses and serving clients
For course providers, Cursum adds a commercial layer. The platform page says providers can "Sælg onlinekurser, certificeringer, workshops og læringsrejser" (sell online courses, certifications, workshops and learning paths), with payment gateway integration for direct course sales. Each customer can get custom dashboards with personal insights and views, and separate admin areas give the provider and its clients their own dedicated admin panels. The site has a dedicated section for course providers (Kursusudbydere).
The platform can be branded fully. Cursum calls it "100% white-label": customers choose among several templates (the themes shown are Luna, Classic and Simple), adjust colors, layout and features, and upload their own logo, and the platform page says users "vil aldrig vide, at det ikke er bygget internt" (will never know it was not built in-house).
Reseller program
Cursum also recruits resellers, pitching the program as a way to sell more courses while spending less time on it, and as a new income stream built on skills a partner already has and an audience it already knows. Under "Bliv forhandler" (become a reseller), it offers a white-label solution that looks like the reseller's own brand, access to the LMS "uden at skulle skrive en eneste linje kode" (without writing a single line of code), a new revenue stream, and full support covering onboarding, technical assistance and regular updates.
Security and scale
The platform page lists a GDPR-compliant platform, advanced user management, role-based access control and proven stability at scale. On growth, Cursum says the platform grows from small teams to global companies without compromising performance or stability, and that customers can start small and add features as their needs change.
What customers say
Two customer quotes appear on both pages. Karl Fredrik of Storyboard AS says: "Cursum er en kompetent, serviceorienteret leverandør og tilbyder et moderne, brugervenligt system" (Cursum is a competent, service-oriented supplier and offers a modern, user-friendly system). Lasse Skjelmose of Fellowmind Denmark says: "Cursum er uden tvivl den mest moderne skaber af en digital læringsplatform" (Cursum is without doubt the most modern creator of a digital learning platform).
Pricing
The site publishes no prices; every route leads to booking a demo or a contact form.
Who it suits
Cursum suits a company that wants one platform for internal training and for training or selling to outsiders, and wants it to look like its own. An HR team running onboarding and compliance can use the AI assistant and imported SCORM or xAPI courses to get a catalog up quickly, while a training company or consultancy can sell courses, certifications and workshops to clients who each get their own dashboard and admin area. The gamification and social features suit organizations whose problem is getting people to take part at all.
The site is written mainly in Danish and leans on short feature statements rather than detailed documentation, so buyers who do not read Danish should expect to work through specifics in the demo. For a business that values branding, AI-assisted authoring and course sales in one system, those specifics are the next step.
