AirCourse is a cloud e-learning system (LMS) for company training, run by KIYO Learning Co., Ltd. Its tagline is "社員教育をカンタンに。" (making staff training simple), and the home page describes it as an LMS that comes with unlimited video training: a company builds and shares its own courses on the same platform where employees watch a standard library of ready-made ones. It is aimed at HR and training teams that want both pieces, their in-house material and an off-the-shelf catalog for common topics, without paying an initial fee. Both are priced per person per month, in yen, and the library comes with the higher of the two plans.

The standard course library

The library is what sets AirCourse apart from an empty LMS. The home page counts "1,300コース、8,000本以上" (1,300 courses and more than 8,000 videos) in its standard course collection, covering the training each level of a company needs, from new employees up to managers, with themes such as IT skills, compliance and DX (digital transformation). A customer quoted on the home page names compliance and general topics such as Word and Excel as the reason the library earns its keep. New video courses are released every month, and the home page says more than 300 courses came out in 2025.

The news feed shows that pace continuing. In September 2026 the company announced 22 new courses, among them a course on using Google apps at work, including the generative AI tool Gemini, and at the end of August 2026 another 23, including a series called "AirCourseBook" that teaches from the work of bestselling authors. Standard learning paths sit alongside the courses, so a training team can give a new hire or a newly promoted manager a ready-made sequence rather than a list to search. The feature list also includes reviews of standard courses.

Building your own courses

The other half is original content. Courses are assembled from video and slide lectures, tests, surveys and assignment submissions, and the related features are listed as course creation, video lecture creation, web text lecture creation, PPT/PDF lecture creation, test creation and survey creation. The company's LMS comparison article adds that a team can upload its own videos, PowerPoint files and PDFs and use them together with the standard library. Another customer quoted on the home page says the ease of building content and tests, and the flexibility of the test and survey tools, decided the purchase.

Original courses can be grouped into original learning paths, which the site says reduces both the administrator's workload and the time learners spend looking for the right course. For companies that would rather not film their own material, KIYO Learning sells a separate video production and distribution package, made with its own studio and specialist staff, which it pitches as low cost and high quality.

Administration, reporting and social learning

Administration covers an organization hierarchy, groups, enrollment option settings, training management and online training features, so learning can be managed by department or by any group a company sets up. Reports are described as customizable and easy to read for progress, and the comparison article lists CSV export of reports and automatic reminder notifications among the management functions. A customer quote on the home page says that after rollout learners hardly ever raised questions, because the interface is intuitive.

AirCourse also includes social learning: a community feature where users can like and comment, which the page compares to Slack and LINE, so know-how can be shared across the company. A discussion feature and central management of content sit in the same area.

Learners can study on multiple devices, and the home page says the screen layout was designed for people who are not used to software. A wholesale and retail customer, Fresta, is presented as using AirCourse to give every employee a chance to learn even though not everyone has their own PC.

Security

The security list names single sign-on, IP address restrictions, login control and "ISO27001取得" (ISO27001 certification obtained). The comparison article specifies SSO through SAML and parameter authentication, plus two-factor authentication. The same article lists SCORM support for AirCourse as a point to confirm ("SCORM対応の有無は公式ページで要確認") rather than as a feature.

Plans, prices and the free plan

AirCourse charges no initial fee ("初期費用0円"). The headline price is "月額200円/名〜" (from 200 yen per person per month), with a footnote that this applies to an annual contract for 1,000 users. The comparison article gives the full ranges: the Basic plan costs 120 to 360 yen per person per month, and the Content Plus plan, which carries the 1,300-course library, 200 to 600 yen, depending on the number of users and the contract period. Billing is per user, the price per person falls as the user count rises, and both annual and monthly contracts are available. The article also says AirCourse can be used from 10 people, and that cancellation terms are given on inquiry.

To try it, the company offers a free plan that opens 18 of the standard courses and the real admin screens, usable as soon as an account is registered. The comparison table lists it as a 30-day free trial, while a note beside the sign-up button on the same page calls the free plan open-ended, with time and capacity limits on some functions. Either way, the article describes a staged route from the free plan to a paid one.

Support follows what the comparison article calls a self-operation design: the system is built for training staff to run themselves. The site has an FAQ and a usage environment page, and runs free webinars every month, including an AirCourse information session covering features, case studies, pricing and support. The home page notes that AirCourse won an award in the e-learning (system) category of the BOXIL SaaS AWARD Spring 2024, hosted by Smartcamp.

Customers

The home page lists case studies across sizes and industries. Gurunavi, with 3,000 or more staff, uses it to manage training information in one place and cut administrative effort, covering pre-work for level-based training, new-hire training, company-wide compliance awareness and training for incoming graduates. SHIFT, an information and communications company with 1,000 to 2,999 staff, credits an in-house certification exam system with a 15.2% rise in its order unit price. Renoveru, a construction company with 100 to 299 staff, reports a 50% cut in time spent on training work, including new-hire training for its franchisees. Nichii Care Palace, in nursing care, uses it for mid-career onboarding, qualification exam preparation and employee benefits. Persol Tempstaff combines its own courses with STUDYing, the online qualification course service the site also offers, to support the careers of its registered staff. Corporate access to STUDYing is sold separately, with more than 38 courses at a corporate discount.

Who it suits

AirCourse suits a company that wants a ready-made training catalog and its own courses in one place, priced per person: a mid-sized employer onboarding new graduates, a franchise network training franchisee staff, or a care or retail business whose staff do not sit at a desk. The absence of an initial fee and the 10-person starting point make it reachable for a small team, and the volume pricing rewards larger ones. Teams that mainly host their own material can weigh the cheaper Basic plan against Content Plus, which carries the library.

It suits less well an organization that expects hands-on managed support, since the company describes its approach as self-operation, or one whose training depends on importing existing SCORM packages, which the company's own comparison lists as unconfirmed.
