What it is
ixamBee is an online preparation platform for government job exams, run by ATOZLEARN EDUTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. It is a learner product with two halves: a large bank of free mock tests, and online courses taught by a faculty the home page describes as "ex-RBI, SIDBI, Bank PO and alumni of IIM, ISB and IIT". The home page says the courses cover jobs in central government, banking, state government, SSC, railways and insurance, and it puts particular weight on the exams of financial regulators: RBI, SEBI, NABARD, PFRDA, IFSCA, IRDAI, SIDBI and NHB. Its headline promise is "Govt. Job Prep, 50% faster", which it ties to what it calls the ixamBee Learning Experience (iLX). The mock test page claims 45 lakh users.
The free mock tests
The free test page lists 43,535 mock tests for more than 100 government exams, which the site says are updated weekly and follow the 2026 exam patterns. The categories run from Bank PO, Bank SO, Bank Clerk and IBPS RRB to RBI, SEBI, NABARD and other regulators, insurance, JAIIB, FCI, railways, SSC, teaching, defense and police, state-level exams, UPSC and MBA entrance. Some series are deep: the page shows 1,934 tests for IBPS Clerk Prelims, 2,879 for SEBI Grade A Officer Phase I Paper 1, 2,203 for NABARD Grade A Phase I and 228 for SBI Clerk Prelims, each with a test length and an average rating from users. Others are small, with one to five tests for a niche post such as AAI Junior Executive or a state police constable exam.
The tests are free to take and to retake. The page's quick guide lists the price as 100% free with no hidden charges, and the FAQ says no fee is needed to attempt or reattempt any test, though a candidate has to register with a mobile number or email, or sign in with Google, so that results are saved. Most tests are bilingual in English and Hindi, depending on the exam and its official language rules. The site says each test is written by subject experts and former bank and regulatory officers, and the quick guide credits the mock tests to ex-RBI, NABARD and SEBI officers.
Three ways to take a test
Every free test can be taken in one of three modes, with the same question paper, marking scheme and syllabus in each. Learning Mode shows the correct answer and explanation right after each question, with the real +1 / −0.25 marking and a timer, and it allows pause, resume and marking questions for review. The site recommends it for someone who has just started a topic. Normal Mode is a timed mock in a relaxed setting with no monitoring, pause and resume allowed, and full analysis plus an All India Rank after submission. The site suggests it for regular weekly practice.
Exam Hall Mode puts an AI invigilator in the candidate's home. The camera stays on with eye tracking, switching tabs is blocked, the AI sends live alerts, and the test runs on exam-hall timing with no pause. The site recommends it for the last two to three weeks before an exam and says it builds tolerance for exam-day pressure "so the real thing feels routine". The FAQ confirms Exam Hall Mode is free on every test and that the camera is used only for live invigilation alerts during the attempt. One user comment on the page shows it is enforced: Deepa Bhutani writes that she thought the test was not under camera until she was suspended.
After a test, the analysis gives sectional scores, overall score, accuracy, time per question, sectional cut-offs and the All India Rank against the site's user base. Every question has a detailed solution, and the home page adds time-saving tips. A "Report an issue" option on each question sends a suspected wrong answer key or explanation to the content team. The site describes the interface as TCS/NTA-style, matching the computer-based format of the real exams.
Courses, mentoring and free study material
The paid side is the course catalog. The home page lists trending courses for upcoming exams, among them an AAI Junior Executive (Finance) online course, an IBPS RRB Scale II and III course, a PFRDA Grade A crash course and a SEBI Grade A IT course. Courses follow what the site calls a flipped classroom: prerecorded lessons are available soon after enrollment, so the full content is there from the start, and live classes are used to clear doubts on each section. Guided learning runs through mentor programs, mock tests and performance analysis, and a banner offers a free call with an expert for candidates who cannot decide which exam suits them. A mobile app is available for studying on the move.
Registered users also get free material: BeePedia general awareness content with daily, weekly and monthly current affairs, budget highlights and a summary of the Economic Survey. The community side runs through YouTube, Facebook and Telegram groups, plus blogs with strategy tips.
What users say
The home page carries testimonials. Ketan Dhainje, listed under SBI JA and SBI PO, writes of "Upgraded mock tests, genuine difficulty level as per real test, excellent video lectures for generalists." Prakhar Upadhyay used the site's Finance and Management 300 questions before his exam. Naveen Kumar credits the free test series for Phase I and Phase II and the interview guidance session after he was selected in Phase II. Santwana Panda subscribed to the SEBI course and praises its concise, up-to-date study material and the personal guidance at the interview stage. The comments under the mock tests are mixed in a useful way: some praise the question quality and the analysis, others say a quantitative or reasoning section ran long or request more question types. The home page also says ixamBee has been featured in Financial Express, Times of India, YourStory, Economic Times and Zee Business.
Support
Phone support runs Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, there is a support email and an AI knowledge base, and a callback form lets a candidate request a call from the exam experts.
Who it suits
ixamBee suits a candidate preparing for bank, regulatory, SSC, railway or insurance exams who wants a lot of realistic practice without paying for it. The 43,535 free tests, unlimited retakes and three modes cover the whole preparation arc, from learning a topic with answers shown to a camera-monitored final rehearsal. It is especially strong for the regulator exams (RBI Grade B, SEBI Grade A, NABARD), where the free series run to thousands of tests and the faculty background is in those same institutions. Candidates who want structured teaching can add a course, with prerecorded lessons and live doubt sessions.
The caveats are small. Exam Hall Mode needs a working camera and a quiet room. Test depth varies a lot by exam, so a candidate for a niche post may find only a handful of tests. The pages describe the courses but show no prices for them.
