What Strigo is

Strigo is a training platform for software companies that want learners to practice on the real product instead of watching slides. Its homepage title calls it "Interactive Virtual Labs for Effective Software Training", and its glossary page describes its virtual instructor-led training (VILT) solution as "an integral part of our comprehensive Customer Education Platform". The product combines a lab engine that creates isolated software environments, labs that can be embedded in other learning platforms, an AI training assistant, and a virtual classroom for live sessions. The glossary adds that the solution "puts your product at the center of the training experience" and provides everything trainers and learners need in a single unified environment. Its readers are customer education teams, training providers that sell technical courses, and companies retraining their own staff during a digital transformation.

Lab Engine

The Lab Engine is the foundation, described in the product menu as "A sandbox for any software". It creates isolated, secure environments for any software and technology, with support for all major cloud platforms, operating systems and development tools. Because each environment is isolated, a learner's practice runs apart from shared systems and from other learners' work. The homepage promises "100% hands-on learning" and says a team can start creating hands-on experiences in minutes. Strigo reports more than 1M labs provisioned and counting, and says its global deployment delivers 99.995% uptime, so learning environments are available on demand when a class starts.

Embeddable labs, AI assistant and assessments

Not every lab needs a trainer. Embeddable Labs, which Strigo pitches as "Self-paced learning that works", integrate interactive labs into existing learning platforms and web properties. A company that already runs an LMS or an academy website can put a live product environment inside its own courses instead of sending learners elsewhere. "Embed anywhere" is one of the three promises on the homepage.

The AI Training Assistant keeps learners on track with contextual guidance and instant feedback, so a learner stuck on a step gets help without waiting for an instructor. Automated assessments validate learner performance in real time using hands-on scenarios and real-time checks, so the check happens inside the environment where the learner did the work.

Virtual classroom

The Virtual Classroom handles live training, described as "a purpose-built classroom designed for hands-on software learning". The glossary page explains how a session works. Learners practice the product in their own environment with side-by-side exercises and direct access to classroom materials. The trainer has full visibility into what each learner is doing in the classroom and how they are interacting with the product during the session. Trainers can identify learners who are struggling and offer them one-on-one assistance inside the classroom, and engagement levels can be analyzed for each session to find improvements for trainers, courses and the overall program.

The same glossary describes how virtual instructor-led programs can be shaped, for example by breaking one training into several shorter sessions so learners can practice between them, and by adding assistants who support the instructor and answer questions during class. For a team running live cohorts, that is the core of the product: everyone works through the same exercises at the same time, and the instructor sees each learner's progress directly rather than asking whether the room is keeping up.

Use cases

The homepage lists five use cases. Hands-on training engages learners with live and self-paced practice that builds real-world skills. Product demos and proofs of concept showcase real-world scenarios in isolated environments to demonstrate value and build solution confidence, which puts the lab platform in front of sales teams as well as trainers. Events and workshops get consistent learning experiences across in-person, remote and hybrid settings. Developer marketing uses interactive training to engage technical users. Training partner management lets a company manage and track the external training partners that deliver its courses.

Under industries and teams, Strigo names customer education, where the aim is to set customers and partners up for success; training providers, who use it to take a training business to the next level; and digital transformation, where companies upskill their own workforce.

What customers say

Four customer quotes appear on the homepage. Rocio Diskin, Sr. Global Education Operations Manager, says "Strigo helped us scale our training program throughout our fast growth." Marc DiPasquale, Director of Developer Advocacy, says Strigo "helps us identify what works and what doesn't work, allowing us to continually improve our classes and provide more value to our learners." Lene' Eksteen, Learning Services Manager, says it "ticks all boxes from easy implementation, ease of use, great UI, and stable technical performance." Dan Braithwaite, Director of Product Training, says his team uses Strigo in the sales pitch: "It is a differentiator that we can offer this level of service from a training perspective."

The company's own figures are over 500K learners, a 96% learner rating and a Net Promoter Score of 50+.

Pricing, security and support

Strigo's pricing is usage-based. The homepage says you "Only pay for what you use with automatic resource optimization and powerful ROI analytics", and the site has a pricing page, a "Try now" option and demo booking. The homepage itself prints no prices; it frames the model as keeping a training team "efficient and on budget" while the analytics show what the program returns. Learners reach their labs through a separate learner access login, and the resources section adds case studies and a blog. A trust and security section covers data protection, a public service status page reports availability, the help center holds a knowledge base, the APIs and developers section explains how to integrate Strigo into training workflows, and professional services offer hands-on help, dedicated support or expert guidance.

Who it suits

Strigo suits software companies whose products have to be learned by doing, where a learner needs a working environment rather than a video. Customer education teams can run live cohorts in the virtual classroom and add self-paced labs to their existing academy. Training providers can deliver technical courses without building their own lab infrastructure, and pre-sales teams can run demos and proofs of concept in clean sandboxes. Companies retraining staff on new systems fit the digital transformation use case.

It is a narrower fit for training with no software to practice on, such as soft skills or policy reading, where a lab adds little. Teams that already have an LMS keep it, since the labs embed into existing platforms rather than replacing them.
