Wisboo is a Spanish-language platform for creating, selling and managing digital products, above all online courses and live events. Its FAQ describes it as a tool that gives a creator their own store with a payment gateway in several currencies, room for content in many formats, and automated access for buyers. The audience is creators rather than companies: the demo form asks whether you are an influencer, a celebrity, a content creator, an independent professional or a business owner, and the homepage invites creators with more than 50k followers to apply to an incubation program. Wisboo's payment product is built for Latin America, with the promise to sell across LATAM, charge in local currency and receive the money in dollars.

What a creator builds

Courses and other products

A course on Wisboo can hold video, documents, audio, text and multimedia. The plan comparison lists the learning tools around that content: activities with single-choice, true-or-false and open questions, auto-graded exams, graded courses with a final pass certificate, a completion certificate with a custom certificate design, a forum inside each course, questions and answers on each piece of content, and assignments with deliverables, grades and feedback. Courses can be private, and live classes run through links to Zoom or YouTube, with the Zoom license not included.

Courses are only one product type. The homepage lists live events, downloadables, combos, memberships, templates, recipes, music, video, classes, software and even astrological birth charts as things creators sell. Memberships take recurring payments (monthly, annual, premium access and more), and installment financing, which Wisboo calls cuotas, is aimed at high-ticket products. Combos bundle several products under one price.

The store

Each creator gets a sales website with a home page, catalog, sales pages, checkout and custom pages, hosted on Amazon Web Services. The basic template takes the creator's colors, fonts, images, header and footer, the template can be customized further with CSS, and extra pages can be built with an advanced text editor or HTML. The plan comparison also lists multiple catalogs, a WhatsApp button on the store, an included SSL certificate and editable email templates for welcome, purchase, enrollment and course completion messages. Wisboo stresses that its logo appears nowhere in the buying process: "Tu tienda es tuya" (your store is yours).

On the free Start plan the store lives at a Wisboo address in the form tumarca.wisboo.com. The FAQ says connecting a custom domain is available on Launch, Growth and Business.

Selling and marketing

Buyers can pay by credit and debit card, bank transfer or cash. The FAQ names Mercado Pago, PayPal, PayU and Stripe as online methods a creator can set up, plus offline transfers and deposits, and the homepage adds Oxxo, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Visa, while the plan table also lists WebPay. Wisboo Pay is the company's own optional processor, pitched as the way to sell across Latin America, charge in local currency and consolidate earnings in US dollars.

Marketing tools include discount codes redeemed at checkout, promotional prices, and promotions with the discount already applied, such as Hot Sale campaigns, popups, gifts and 2x1 offers. Creators can invite users to courses, record manual sales, enroll a user for free by hand, enroll users in bulk from a CSV file, and collect course ratings and reviews. A metrics dashboard and reports cover sales, course progress and reviews, and integrations include Google Analytics (GA4 on Business), Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Zapier, WhatsApp and a public API. Registration forms can carry custom user fields, every plan allows unlimited instructors, and the number of admin users grows with the plan: 1 on Start, 3 on Launch, 5 on Growth and unlimited on Business.

Plans, prices and commissions

Wisboo publishes four plans:

  • Start: $0, with 3 products, 10 sales and up to 20 enrollments through the store.
  • Launch: $31 a month billed annually or $39 billed monthly, unlimited products and sales.
  • Growth: $63 a month billed annually or $79 billed monthly, with 60 manual enrollments a month.
  • Business: $143 a month billed annually or $179 billed monthly, with 180 manual enrollments a month.

On top of the subscription, Wisboo takes a commission on each sale made through the creator's own payment method: 0% on Start, 5% on Launch, 2% on Growth and 0% on Business. Every plan also pays a 1% charge for using the e-commerce module, and sales through Wisboo Pay carry its optional 5.99% commission. The FAQ explains that the commission is deducted automatically at the moment of payment, and that the rest goes straight to the account of the payment method the buyer used: a PayPal sale lands in the creator's PayPal account. Wisboo is not a virtual wallet and does not hold the money.

Start has no time limit. A progress bar under Mi plan shows how close the creator is to the cap, and once any limit is passed (10 sales, 3 published products or 20 registered users, in the FAQ's wording) the creator has to move to a paid plan and cannot return to Start. Paid plans have no limit on products, sales or users. Going over the plan's monthly enrollment quota does not stop enrollments: the FAQ puts each extra enrollment at $1.49, charged at the end of the billing period. Plans can be changed up or down at any time.

Support and education

The help center answers questions through articles, video tutorials, an in-platform support chat and WhatsApp, Monday to Friday during working hours, from 8:00 to 20:00, and support in Spanish is also available by email. Wisboo University collects courses, live events and downloadable guides on building a digital business, and a demo of the platform can be requested through a form.

For first-time creators, Wisboo runs a live workshop called "Lanza tu curso online en menos de 1 mes" (launch your online course in less than one month). Inés Verdini, Wisboo's Education Leader, guides participants for 4 weeks through creating a course, with the onboarding team alongside them throughout; the page sums it up as "¡Tendrás un personal trainer!" (you will have a personal trainer). Live training sessions with experts cover producing, promoting and selling digital products.

Among the testimonials, the journalist Mai Pistiner says "Fui escalando con Wisboo y logré hacer crecer mi academia de contenidos digitales durante años" (I scaled with Wisboo and grew my digital content academy over the years), and the chef Karina Gao says Wisboo Pay helped her take her business international and sell abroad.

Who it suits

Wisboo fits a Spanish-speaking creator, coach or influencer in Latin America who wants to sell courses, live events and downloads from a store under their own brand, take local payment methods such as Mercado Pago or Oxxo, and keep the earnings in dollars. The free Start plan lets a first-time seller publish and make the first sales at no cost, and the launch workshop gives beginners guided help.

The commission structure is the main thing to plan around. Launch charges 5% per sale on top of the subscription and the 1% e-commerce charge, so a creator with growing sales should compare it with Growth's 2% or Business's 0%. Everything, from the platform to support, is in Spanish, and the product is built for individual creators rather than corporate training teams.
