TagMango

Tap a star to rate

TagMango is a creator platform for coaches and educators who sell courses, live workshops, paid communities and one-on-one sessions under their own brand, on their own domain and, if they pay for it, in their own iOS and Android app. It is run by TagMango Inc., which lists an operating address in Kolkata, and its pricing is in rupees with plans built around Indian payment methods such as UPI, Razorpay and Cashfree alongside Stripe. The home page claims 10,000+ creators, ₹1,000 Cr+ in yearly creator earnings and 15 lakh+ learners impacted, and it pitches the whole product as a way to run a "one-person startup" with Mango AI doing the back-office work.

Building a course

Courses take video, audio, PDFs, text and downloadable files. Drip release can open lessons by date, by enrollment or by progress, and the platform supports quizzes, assignments and branded completion certificates. Content protection is a selling point: the home page lists DRM on video, download limits and device caps, and the pricing table places DRM course protection on the Advanced plan and above. Certificates are on every plan, and custom certificate design starts on Pro. The comparison page also mentions course progress tracking, locked courses and downloadable resources per lesson.

Live workshops and one-on-one sessions

Live sessions run on Zoom, which opens inside the creator's platform so only paying learners get in, and recordings are uploaded back into the course automatically. The home page says up to 500 people are included without a separate Zoom bill, and the pricing table lists Zoom Webinar for 500 people on Advanced. The site also mentions attendance tracking, recurring sessions and reminders by WhatsApp and email.

One-on-one consultations use a built-in calendar. You set availability slots and buffer times, attach the calendar to a service, and learners book, reschedule or cancel from inside the platform. Sessions can be free discovery calls or paid premium sessions, and automated email reminders go out before each one.

Memberships and community

Memberships are recurring by default, with tiers, renewals and reminders, and the home page says creators can offer seven-day free trials on them. The community side has channels per program, cohort or topic, one-to-one and group messages, peer-to-peer connections and moderation controls. Gamification awards points for actions you choose (watching a lesson, attending a live, commenting), with badges and leaderboards, either automatically or by hand. The Ultimate plan adds habit and task trackers, challenges and Sparks, a short-form video feed where members can post as well.

One testimonial on the comparison page, from Kartik Mukherjee, reads: "A ₹999 drip challenge drove 90% engagement and 30 automated sales for our ₹60K program."

Payments and selling

Checkout accepts UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, through Razorpay, UPI, Stripe and Cashfree, with GST invoicing, reconciliation and withdrawals handled by the platform. Creators can charge different prices for international students. The funnel tools include pre-applied coupons, countdown timers and seat limits, an upsell shown before payment completes, and a view of who abandoned checkout so you can follow up. Pro adds refund automation and free products through 100% off coupons.

No-cost EMI lets a learner pay in installments while the creator receives the full amount; the comparison page says it is available on the Advanced plan and above for services priced above Rs. 6,000, with the interest borne by the creator. FlexiPay and instant withdrawal sit on the Ultimate plan.

Affiliates arrive on Advanced. You set a commission per product as a percentage or a flat fee, and lifetime linking keeps a referred buyer tied to the affiliate for every later purchase. Link Up, on the Ultimate plan, lets two TagMango creators connect and bundle each other's products into one purchase, with the revenue split handled by the platform at a share the two agree once.

Marketing, automation and branding

Email broadcasts and automations are built in, and the Basic plan's email allowance is listed as 10 email credits per user, rising to 50k emails a month for broadcast on Pro. You can connect any WhatsApp API provider for broadcasts and automations, and send push notifications to learners' phones. The comparison page describes automated purchase confirmations, session reminders 24 hours, 30 minutes and 15 minutes before a live session, course completion nudges and subscription renewal reminders. Zapier and Pabbly integrations are on every plan, and Facebook Pixel is listed on the comparison page.

The branded website runs on your custom domain, with hosting and SSL handled, and the pricing FAQ says a custom domain goes live 24 hours from onboarding. Learners sign in once across the app and the website. Team members get their own logins with permissions you set. The branded app is a native iOS and Android app published under the creator's name; TagMango handles developer accounts, submission and updates, and its name appears only at checkout. The FAQ says the app takes around 60 days, mostly because of Apple's store review.

AI tools

Mango AI is pitched as an assistant that builds courses, offers, coupons and gamification from a prompt, reads transactions and conversations to suggest fixes, and sets up win-back automations for inactive learners. Theme AI restyles the platform from a description, the AI Funnel Builder makes funnels and pages from a sentence, and the AI App Builder (Mango Studio) builds small apps such as habit or fitness trackers that a creator can sell. The Ultimate plan includes all four with 1000 AI credits, and the AI-Verse add-on brings Mango AI, Theme AI and the Funnel Builder, with 1000 AI credits, to Basic, Pro or Advanced.

Pricing

The Freedom Setup fee of ₹24,999 plus GST a year is what puts the platform on your own custom domain; the home page says you can start without it and add the setup when you want your own brand. A plan then sits on top.

  • Basic: zero fixed fee and 10% commissions, including the Indian payment gateway charge. Up to 200 students, landing pages with 3 templates, 20 GB of course storage, team management, analytics, chat rooms, WhatsApp integration, email broadcasting, a storefront, certificates, and Zapier and Pabbly. The comparison page calls this the free plan.
  • Pro: ₹5,000 plus GST a month and 5.5% commissions. Unlimited students and storage, refund automation, custom certificates and timers.
  • Advanced: ₹15,000 plus GST a month and 3.5% commissions. Community channels and forums, affiliates, gamification, DRM, Zoom Webinar for 500 people, checkout upsells.
  • Ultimate: ₹30,000 plus GST a month and zero commissions, paying only gateway charges (the lowest Indian gateway charge is listed as 1.5%). Includes the AI tools with 1000 AI credits, a customer success manager, habit and task tracking, challenges, Link Up, Sparks with 200 GB, FlexiPay, instant withdrawal and no-cost EMI.

The international payment gateway charge is extra on every plan, listed as 5%. The AI-Verse add-on is shown at ₹50,000 plus GST a year in one table and ₹49,999 in the add-ons section. The Branded Apps Stack is a one-time ₹74,999 plus GST for your own Play Store and App Store apps, a 30-day onboarding manager and Zoom meetings for 300 people for 2 years. An Enterprise Setup at a one-time ₹1,00,000 plus GST bundles the Freedom Setup with the branded app and the same Zoom allowance.

Moving in and owning your data

The FAQ says TagMango migrates your members and helps move content, that most creators are selling again within days, and that courses, communities and payments can go live the same day. The comparison page describes moving members by uploading a CSV and linking each member to the products they bought. On ownership, the company says your learners, revenue data and content are yours and can be exported whenever you like.

Who it suits

TagMango fits coaches who sell premium programs and want everything under their own name: courses, live cohorts, a paid community, coaching calls, affiliates and a branded app, paid for in rupees with UPI and EMI at checkout. A creator testing a first offer can start on Basic with no fixed fee and pay commission only on sales, though the 200-student cap and the per-user email credits mean a growing audience moves to Pro quickly. Many of the features that define the product, from affiliates and gamification to Link Up and the AI tools, sit on the upper plans, so the realistic monthly cost for a full setup is the Advanced or Ultimate fee plus any setup or app stack charges.
