What Softbook is
Softbook is an online course platform for schools and creators that puts courses, payments, marketing and a CRM in one system at a fixed price. The home page headline is "Turn what you know into an online school that earns," followed by "Your school grows. Your bill doesn't." Three promises sit under it: 30 days free, 0% commission and unlimited students.
The site serves four kinds of customer: online schools that run regular launches with a team, creators such as coaches, trainers and psychologists who want a fast start, businesses that train employees, run onboarding and keep knowledge bases, and companies that teach customers to use their product. Softbook says it is trusted by creators and online schools in 57 countries, and counts $50M+ earned by schools on the platform, 1M+ students and 10,000+ schools. The site is available in English, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian.
What a school actually gets
Course creation. Courses are built without code in a drag-and-drop lesson editor, and one lesson can combine video, audio, text, slides, tests and assignments. Tests offer eight question types. Grading for tests and assignments can run automatically, so a growing course does not need extra reviewers. Lessons can open in sequence (drip), certificates are issued automatically on completion, and courses and students are both unlimited. Softbook Cloud provides cloud storage for course files, and Softbook Verify lets anyone check that a certificate is genuine.
Marketing and acquisition. Email marketing comes with ready-made templates and automations, chatbots handle sales and student conversations, and a page builder makes the school site and sales pages without a front-end developer. Funnels can be automated with audience segmentation. UTM tags are carried through to the order card, so the end-to-end analytics show which channel and which course brought in money, not just leads.
Sales and CRM. The built-in CRM keeps every student's history: where they came from, what they bought and where they stopped. A sales pipeline tracks deal stages and payment statuses, a workflow reminds a buyer about an unpaid order by email or Telegram message, and the next course can be offered right after a student sees a result. Sales and revenue reports filter by date.
Control and management. The dashboard shows course, student and certificate statistics, a course funnel reveals which lesson students drop out at, and a dropout risk view flags who is about to quit before they leave. A team activity log records who did what and when, and data can be exported for outside analysis.
Community, webinars and Telegram. A community feed with messaging and gamification, live webinars inside the school, and a Telegram tool for bots, campaigns and payments in chat are all part of the platform. An AI section promises to take routine work off the school, and automations run workflows without manual steps.
Mobile app. The iOS and Android app is part of the platform, and anything done on a phone shows up in the browser right away. Students take courses and tests and submit assignments, including voice answers, and get a push notification when their work is reviewed or a teacher replies. The school's team sees revenue, orders and learning analytics, grants access, works deals and reviews assignments from a phone.
Getting started. Softbook describes launch as three steps: sign up with no card and set the school's name, logo and brand colors; build the first course with lessons, video, text and slides, tests and assignments; then connect payments and invite students, who get access as soon as they pay. Its solutions pages cover coaching, fitness and wellness, tutors and languages, marketing schools and school migration alongside the main audiences.
Business and customer training
For companies, Softbook pitches progress analytics, groups, certificates and reliability for employee training, onboarding and knowledge bases, and its solutions list includes employee onboarding and partner training. For companies that teach customers to use a product, the stated aim is to cut the load on support and raise retention. One customer, personal coach Alexey Dinar, describes moving away from live sessions with speakers to a knowledge base where "everything is recorded and laid out in modules with tests and assignments."
Pricing, payments and support
The home page promises "Clear prices, no hidden extras," 0% commission on sales and unlimited students with 24/7 Customer Care on every plan. Plan prices are not shown in the page text; the site's structured data lists three plans, Mini at USD 39, Pro at USD 89 and Max at USD 159. Softbook's Ukrainian blog adds that storage and email sending terms are set out on the pricing page and should be checked separately.
The 30-day free trial needs no bank card and, per the FAQ, gives full access to course creation, marketing, sales, CRM and analytics with no limit on students; the blog describes it as including all features within trial limits. A card is needed only when moving to a paid plan.
Landing pages, email, chatbots, community and the CRM are built in, and the only thing connected from outside is payment processing. The listed providers are LiqPay, WayForPay, Monobank, Portmone and Hutko for Ukraine, Przelewy24 for Poland, and Stripe and PayPal internationally, each connected in the admin dashboard in a few minutes. Developers get API documentation.
Softbook's team moves an existing school from another platform, including courses, students and school settings such as design, logo and domain. One customer, Tanya Mykhalchenko of a PPC advertising school, says "The team moved all my lessons over by hand." Customer Care is described as real people in your language, answering around the clock over Telegram, Viber, Messenger and email, backed by a help center with step-by-step guides.
Who it suits
Softbook suits an online school or creator who wants courses, sales, CRM, email and an app in one dashboard and does not want fees rising with student numbers. Schools selling to buyers in Ukraine or Poland get local payment providers out of the box, and the move-in service helps those leaving another platform. Companies get a training and onboarding tool with groups, certificates and dropout tracking, and product companies can use it for customer education. Customers quoted on the home page range from a recruiting school and a massage therapist to Yevhen Sukharev's Kyiv School of Cleaning, which says Softbook let it "scale our cleaning school into new regions with no extra spend on technology."
