What Skolasti is
Skolasti is a platform where coaches, trainers and content creators build an online academy and sell courses from it. The home page headline is "Your Online Academy with AI Teaching Assistant", and the pitch is unlimited courses, no technical setup, and an assistant that answers student questions from the coach's own material. The company's blog says it is built specifically for Indian educators and coaches, and the footer names the business as InovarTech Private Limited, with an office at The Platina, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India. The blog is written by Apratim Ghosh, who signs as founder of Skolasti.
The home page shows three headline figures: 4.8/5 instructor happiness, 99.9% platform uptime and 500k+ questions answered by AI. A banner announces that Skolasti v2 is here, with any plan free to try for 14 days, and the closing section offers either a free trial or a booked demo, claiming thousands of organizations already use the platform.
What a coach actually gets
Courses in several formats. Skolasti says it covers self-paced courses, live cohorts or a blend of both. The feature list names live online courses, premium masterclasses, subscriptions, assessments, certifications, gamification, analytics and reports, language options, digital rights management and the sale of digital products. The blog describes the setup as uploading content, setting fees, creating student batches and going live from one dashboard, and estimates that setting up an academy takes about two hours.
AI Teaching Assistant. The assistant learns from the coach's content rather than general internet knowledge, so it answers in the coach's teaching style, and it works around the clock using the course materials as reference. Skolasti claims coaches save 67% on response time and get back 15+ hours a week. The blog also mentions an AI course-building assistant, and the feature list includes Saara, described as "your AI operator".
Engagement and certificates. Built-in gamification and certificates are meant to motivate students and give them proof of achievement; the blog adds that completion certificates are branded and can be shared on LinkedIn. The Basic plan has basic gamification, Pro adds advanced gamification and custom certificate templates. Analytics are pitched as going beyond completion rates to show what makes students succeed and where they need help, with basic admin analytics on Basic and advanced admin analytics on Growth.
Content protection. Secure delivery blocks right-click, text selection downloads, copying and printing. Coaches can set permissions and automatically log out inactive users to stop account sharing, add unique watermarks to trace leaks, and restrict access to specific domains to block unauthorized embedding. The home page also lists DRM protection and enterprise-grade security.
Selling and payments. Coaches upload a course once and sell it to unlimited students without additional per-student charges. The blog FAQ says Skolasti supports UPI, and the main FAQ says the platform supports multiple currencies, including USD, EUR and GBP. Receipts for every transaction are sent to the coach's email automatically. According to the blog, Skolasti takes care of video hosting, payment processing, student management and website building, so a coach who can use a smartphone and basic apps can start without technical skills.
Integrations. The FAQ says Skolasti integrates with popular payment platforms, email tools and web conference platforms, and the home page adds email marketing platforms to that list, without naming specific services.
Branding and apps. "Complete white-label customization means students only see YOUR brand, not ours," the home page says, and white labeling is listed on the Growth plan. The FAQ confirms branded mobile apps for an academy on the higher plans.
Subjects. The solutions menu covers marketing and business, health and fitness, design, tech, meditation and lifestyle, academics and languages, and finance.
Plans and fees
Pricing is per coach per month, with a monthly or yearly toggle:
- Basic, ₹1999 per coach per month, for solo coaches: unlimited courses and videos, social logins, basic admin analytics, email support and basic gamification.
- Pro, ₹3999 per coach per month, marked recommended: everything in Basic, 1 to 5 coaches, custom certificate templates, email and phone support, advanced gamification and language support.
- Growth, ₹5999 per coach per month, for enterprises and large organizations: everything in Pro, 1 to 25 coaches, social logins plus SSO, advanced admin analytics, a dedicated account manager and white labeling.
On top of the subscription there is a platform fee on sales. The blog says Skolasti charges "a fixed monthly fee plus a small per-sale fee (4.99% on Skolasti)", and the structured data on the same page states "Platform fee: 4.99% per sale." So students are unlimited, but each sale carries that fee.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature available, and no credit card is required. Coaches can cancel at any time, and the FAQ says there are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
What coaches say
The home page quotes coaches by name. Rakesh Mondal, a UX coach, says: "Skolasti's AI Coaching gave me back 15 hours a week - time I used to create a premium course that doubled my revenue." Sarah Johnson, a digital marketing expert, says "student interaction has gone up by 300%." David Park, a tech course creator, credits the analytics: "I've been able to create more targeted content and increase completion rates by 250%." Rahul Bhatia, owner of Saffron Indian Kitchen, uses it to share cooking videos with a wider audience, and Lisa Thompson, a language teacher, says manual work that used to take hours now happens automatically.
Who it suits
Skolasti suits an Indian coach or small academy that wants to sell recorded and live courses under its own brand, with an AI assistant taking the routine student questions. A solo coach can start on Basic with unlimited courses and videos, a small team of up to 5 coaches gets phone support, custom certificates and language support on Pro, and an academy with up to 25 coaches that needs SSO, an account manager and full white labeling moves to Growth. Exam coaches, tech trainers and fitness or language teachers all appear in the subject list and the testimonials.
The content protection tools matter for coaches worried about shared logins and leaked videos. Since pricing is per coach and every sale carries the 4.99% platform fee, a coach comparing costs should add both to the monthly budget.
