What Skillspad is
Skillspad is a selling platform for African creators who teach: courses, coaching, paid communities and digital products such as ebooks and templates, all run from one dashboard. Its home page headline is "Sell your knowledge. Keep your money," and the page title calls it "Built for African Creators Who Sell Knowledge." Prices are in Ghanaian cedis (GHS), the creator stories on the home page come from Ghana, and the closing line says creators "across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and beyond" already use it. The site's own description mentions secure payments with Paystack.
The home page counts 900+ creators selling, GHS 85K+ paid out so far and 1,200+ products sold. Creators who are unsure what to offer can ask Richy, which the site calls its AI product advisor, before building anything.
What a creator actually gets
The home page describes three ways creators use Skillspad, and each one maps to a category of this directory.
Selling courses and digital products. Creators upload courses, ebooks, templates or playbooks, set a price, and buyers get instant access after payment. Courses are structured video courses with modules that students work through. Ebooks cover guides, workbooks and resource packs delivered as an instant download, templates include Canva templates and swipe files, and a playbook is a step-by-step plan broken into phases and actions. Creators can also sell productized services and consultations as fixed packages, packaged "systems" of SOPs, workflows and templates, and tickets to a live session, class or workshop. Affiliate marketing is built in, so creators can invite affiliates to sell their products for them. Skillspad also runs a marketplace, and buyers can look up past purchases through a find-my-order page.
Running coaching programs. Clients book sessions on the creator's calendar, a Google Meet link is generated automatically, and creators can offer packages. Coaching covers 1-on-1 or group sessions that buyers book and pay for upfront.
Building paid communities. Creators set up membership tiers and give members a discussion feed, managed from the same dashboard as everything else.
Dashboard and landing pages. The dashboard shows sales, earnings and payouts at a glance. Each product can have a landing page with checkout built in, hosted on the creator's own Skillspad subdomain. The full feature list on the home page adds live webinars with registration, buyer messaging and affiliates.
Payouts. Payouts go to mobile money or bank transfer. The home page describes them as instant, and the Selar section says mobile money payouts arrive the same day. Creators connect Mobile Money or a bank account, request payouts and track earnings in the dashboard.
Integrations. Skillspad says calendar invites, file storage and video lessons are wired into a creator's existing Google workspace and YouTube, and it names Meet, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, YouTube and Forms.
Getting started. A free creator guide walks through four steps: creating an account and choosing a subscription tier, listing a first product with pricing, files and a landing page, setting up payouts, and promoting the product through a landing page on a subdomain, affiliates and a store link. Creators coming from Selar can import their products in one click.
Plans and fees
The plan table pairs a monthly price with a platform fee on each sale, and the fee falls as the plan rises. Annual billing saves 20%. Every tier includes a storefront, checkout and payouts, and the home page sums up the free route as $0 a month, paying only when you sell. It also says most upgrades pay for themselves in fee savings alone, which holds once a creator's monthly sales are large enough for the lower fee to outweigh the plan price.
- Launch (free forever, no credit card): a 10% platform fee, selling ebooks, templates and services, up to 25 products.
- Grow (230 GHS a month plus a 6% platform fee): adds courses (upload up to 10), coaching and team roles.
- Pro (450 GHS a month plus a 5% platform fee, marked most popular): adds a CRM and playbooks, with up to 25 courses.
- Business (890 GHS a month plus a 4% platform fee): adds free withdrawals, multiple brands, systems and webinars, with up to 60 courses.
- Enterprise (custom pricing, a minimum 3% platform fee): adds SSO, unlimited courses and unlimited communities, aimed at institutions.
The plan cards and the format list together show which tier each format needs: ebooks, templates and services start on Launch, courses, communities and coaching on Grow, playbooks on Pro, and systems and webinars on Business.
A banner for creators moving from Selar offers a 7% fee, or 4% on the Creator tier, and code SELAR2026 for a free month. The Creator tier named there does not appear in the plan table, which lists Launch, Grow, Pro, Business and Enterprise.
Creators on the platform
The home page profiles a few sellers. Northern Roots Academy runs a Faceless AI community in Ghana for people who want to sell digital products online without showing their face, with 2,140 buyers, 128 community members and 16 products. Trade Routes GH sells step-by-step importation playbooks for Ghanaian entrepreneurs, shows a 4.92 rating and reaches 740 buyers across 14 products; its "Find & Vet Suppliers Without Travelling" shows 146 sales and "Cut Your Customs Bill in Half" 98. Cedis & Charts teaches investing on the Ghana Stock Exchange, with "Stock Picks for Beginners" at 280 sales and 540 buyers across 16 products.
Who it suits
Skillspad suits a creator in Ghana or elsewhere in Africa who sells knowledge in several formats and wants to be paid out to mobile money. A first-time seller with an ebook, a template pack or a service can start on the free Launch plan and pay only the platform fee when something sells. A coach or course creator moves to Grow for courses, coaching and a community, and a full-time creator with a larger catalog gets the CRM and more course slots on Pro.
A training business with a team fits Business, with webinars, multiple brands and free withdrawals, while an institution that needs SSO and unlimited courses is pointed to Enterprise and a custom quote. Since the fee drops from 10% on Launch to 4% on Business, creators with steady sales should work out at what volume a paid plan costs less than the higher fee.
