What Skillspace is
Skillspace is a Russian-language platform for creating and selling online courses, run by ООО «СКИЛЛСПЕЙС» from an address in Moscow. The home page calls it a platform "на которой удобно учиться и обучать" (where it is convenient to learn and to teach), and the footer's copyright runs from 2019. It is built mainly for course creators and online schools, with separate solutions pages for beginners and experts, for established online schools, for staff training, and for state institutions and non-profits.
The FAQ draws the line between Skillspace and a classic LMS: a plain LMS covers only the learning side, while Skillspace also sells courses, takes payments, runs webinars and builds a product catalog, so a school needs no separate website, payment service or streaming software. The home page says 6000 companies and online schools already use it, and calls itself the fastest-growing platform of 2023/2024 with a figure of +400%.
What a school or creator actually gets
Course builder. Courses are put together in a simple visual editor with no coding. There are 4 lesson types: lectures, tests, assignments with review, and live lessons. Lessons can hold 12 content formats, which the pages list as video, presentations, audio, tables, code, formulas and others. Access can be opened for a set time, on a schedule or by hand, and stop-lessons, deadlines and answer timers let a school control the pace.
Built-in webinars. The webinar platform starts a broadcast in one click without YouTube, OBS or other integrations, and the home page says broadcasts and recordings work without Zoom too. Live sessions have chats, banners, polls and reactions; recordings are saved to the school's storefront, reminders go out automatically by email, Telegram and calendar, and outside speakers and guests can join without registering.
Homework review. A dedicated review section filters and sorts work by status, reviewer, due date, course, group, assignment and score. Reviewers mark work as passed, failed or sent back for revision, award points, comment and record audio messages.
Team work. The pages describe the platform as built for everyone from authors and curators to methodologists and administrators. Schools create custom roles with their own permissions, split students into groups with automation and an assigned curator, and get notifications about new answers, deadlines and questions. The FAQ says a school can run many courses, cohorts and groups, curators with different rights and thousands of students from one account.
Keeping students on track. Timers and reminders announce lessons, deadlines, new material and events. Progress bars, points and an internal ranking show students where they stand, an online chat lets the school support students on the platform, and certificates are issued automatically against set conditions, from the school's own template, with protection against forgery. The home page says students can learn from any device through the modern interface and an app.
Content protection. Skillspace advertises protection against downloading videos, texts and presentations, and against "складчина", the group-buying practice in which several people split the cost of one course and share the access.
Selling. A school can use a ready landing page and take payments through Skillspace, or connect its own site and payment system. Payments come with built-in acquiring and a cash register without extra setup, courses can be sold by tariff with a trial period and automatic access, and the pages list international payments and installments. A single catalog of courses and webinars works as a storefront with automatic access, payment from the catalog and extra SEO traffic, and the pages mention auto-upsells among more than 30 other features.
White label. A White Label option removes every mention of Skillspace and brings the school's logo, brand colors, its own domain and a mobile app with the school's icon.
Analytics and integrations. Schools track progress, activity and completion by course or cohort, see key metrics in widgets, export data to xlsx and connect outside BI platforms for their own dashboards. The online-school page lists 30+ integrations across sales and marketing, payment systems and online broadcasting. The FAQ adds that payment systems, CRM, mailing services and analytics tools can be connected, some through ready-made modules and some through the API, and that the team can confirm the current list.
Plans, trial and support
The home page describes modular plans: a school connects the modules it needs and pays only for what it uses. Prices are not printed on the home or online-school pages. A personal demo of 25 to 30 minutes is offered instead, and the site says the demo comes with a trial period and a special discount that is not on the site; pop-up offers advertised -40% until 31 July on updated plans and -30% for new customers.
Registration is free and, the home page says, takes less than a minute. The FAQ says Skillspace can be tested free and without limits for 14 days, which "хватит чтобы создать курс, загрузить материалы, посмотреть личный кабинет ученика, проверить основные сценарии и даже получить первые продажи" (is enough to create a course, upload materials, look at the student account, check the main scenarios and even make your first sales). The online-school page says the whole team can test it for 14 days free on the maximum plan. After the test, a school picks a plan and the modules for its format.
Moving from another platform is handled by Skillspace's team, which the pages describe as free: it transfers the course structure, lessons, materials, students and access rights from another LMS or a set of services, sets up the design, payments and integrations, and the FAQ says most schools launch step by step, running in parallel with the old platform and switching after a check. The online-school page advertised up to 6 months of subscription free for schools moving from another platform.
Support works every day, weekends included. The pages claim a reply in 43 seconds and a 5.0 rating in 97% of conversations, and they cite more than 300 reviews on Startpack and Otzyvmarketing with an average of 4.8. A help center with setup instructions and a Telegram channel round out the support.
Who it suits
Skillspace suits a Russian-speaking online school that wants courses, webinars, homework review and sales in one place, especially one with several curators and many cohorts. The custom roles, curator groups and review statuses are built for schools that check a lot of student work by hand, and the stop-lessons, deadlines and certificates help those that care about completion. One customer, Мария of Лин Дизайн, puts it simply: "Если сомневаетесь в выборе Skillspace, просто попробуйте. И уходить не захочется." (If you are unsure about choosing Skillspace, just try it. You won't want to leave.)
A solo expert can also start alone, since the home page addresses authors without a team, experience or technical skills, and the free trial is long enough to build a first course. Companies training staff, universities, continuing education providers and state institutions are named as audiences too, with attendance tracking, certificates and reports.
The site and its materials are in Russian, so it fits creators who work in that language. A school that wants to compare prices before talking to anyone will need to book the demo first.
