What Sherpo is
Sherpo is an all-in-one platform for building and selling digital content under your own brand: online courses, digital downloads, memberships, tips, paywalled blogs and bookings. Its page title calls it an "AI‑first white‑label platform for distributing digital content," and the home page puts the idea as "Your platform, your audience, your rules." Each creator gets a Sherpo-powered site generated automatically at yoursite.sherpo.io, and the company sums up its model with "You can think of us as Shopify, but for digital goods and services."
It is aimed at independent creators rather than institutions. The home page says 3,000+ creators use Sherpo, that you can go from sign-up to a first product in 3 minutes with no coding or credit card, and that there are $0 hidden fees. The company is Sherpo Technologies, Inc., and its blog announces that Sherpo has joined the Cloudflare Workers Launchpad.
Building and delivering a course
Courses are built from videos and files organized into chapters and lessons, and sold with what the site calls a polished checkout. Sherpo hosts the video and the files itself; the FAQ says you need no Vimeo, Dropbox or third-party tools, and that there are no bandwidth fees or streaming limits, so students can watch and download without the creator worrying about overage charges. The free plan's upload limits are described as enough to launch one of each product type, "even a 20-hour video course," and every plan allows unlimited products and unlimited customers.
Students sign in with email or Google and need no Sherpo account; each customer is unique to the creator's site, and the site stresses "they are your customers, not ours." The FAQ adds that "Your students, subscribers, and sales belong entirely to you," and that Sherpo never claims ownership of customer data. Transactional emails for sign-ups and purchases go out automatically, and Stripe sends the receipts with the creator's reply-to address so customers can answer directly.
Other products in the same store
Beyond courses, a Sherpo store can carry:
- Downloads: any digital file or link, in any format, such as PDF, .xlsx, .pptx or .zip, delivered with gated access and receipts.
- Coffees, tips and goals: a simple page where the audience can tip you and leave a personal message, or donate toward a goal.
- Blogs: posts you publish and choose to place behind a paywall, monetized through subscriptions.
- Calendar: shared availability and scheduling, which the site says "just works."
All of it is managed from one dashboard, which the site says includes tools for payments, analytics and team collaboration. A demo storefront on the site shows how a finished store looks.
Selling and payments
Checkout is built on Stripe, with multiple payment methods including buy now, pay later. Payments go through Stripe, which the FAQ says gives creators fast payouts and full control over their funds, and the blog notes that you work directly with your own Stripe account. Affiliates and coupons are built in: you create custom coupons with unique links and assign them to affiliates. Custom links let you make redirects to any page on your Sherpo site or elsewhere, which is handy for campaigns.
Branding is open on every plan for colors and design, and paid plans let you connect your own domain and remove all Sherpo references. The blog says full white-label branding starts from the Pro plan upward and is included in Ultra.
AI features
AI is a large part of the pitch, and the site calls these its industry-first AI features. Sherpy, the built-in assistant, sits in the dashboard and editor to answer questions, brainstorm and write copy, and Ultra users get extra features such as fetching web pages and DeepSeek R1. Captions, in beta, generate captions for videos in multiple languages, along with full transcripts and AI-generated descriptions to help discoverability. A reviews feature uses AI to summarize customer reviews into short overviews and to help moderate them; the site says the summaries help new customers decide and show the creator what to improve. Captions also make lessons usable without sound, which the site frames as accessibility for all viewers.
Plans and fees
The FAQ sets out the fees plainly: "Our free Start plan has a small 1–5% platform fee, depending on the product type. Our Ultra plan has 0% platform fees. Standard Stripe payment processing fees apply to all plans." The blog adds that Ultra costs $79/month, or $59/month billed annually, and includes full white-label branding under your own domain. Start is not a trial; the FAQ says "it's free forever," and you upgrade only when you want 0% fees and advanced features. The blog makes the case for upgrading with its own example: on $100,000 of annual course sales, a 5% platform fee comes to $5,000, often more than a yearly flat subscription, though it adds that fees are only one part of the decision. The home page also claims 97% cost savings, and the company calls its free plan the most generous in the industry. For moving in, the FAQ says to email the migrations team, who help import content and customer lists from other platforms.
Support
The site promises a guaranteed response time of under 12 hours from support, and there are docs, a blog with product updates and guides, a system status display and a sales contact. The one review on the home page, from the investment community Fossato Economico, says Sherpo made launching a course effortless and made it easy to use affiliates and add more products while keeping full control of the brand.
Who it suits
Sherpo fits a solo creator or small team selling pre-recorded courses alongside downloads, tips, paywalled writing or booked calls, who wants a branded store, hosted video and customer data that stays theirs. The free Start plan lets a new creator sell with no monthly cost while paying a 1 to 5% platform fee per sale, and Ultra removes that fee once volume justifies $59 to $79 a month. The company is candid about the main trade-off in its own blog: Sherpo does not bundle as many marketing automation tools as some platforms, so advanced CRM or email campaigns often need integrations. A creator who wants a simple, fee-light store with AI help built in will find it a good match.
