Proctur is an Indian education software company whose course-selling product, Proctur eStore, lets coaching institutes, tutors and other educators run their own branded online store for video courses, test series, eBooks and study materials. The eStore page describes it as a platform "designed specifically for coaching institutes, educators, and content creators who want to sell courses online in India," and says Proctur "enables you to create, host, and sell video courses, test series, eBooks, and study materials through your own branded online store." The company behind it is Eduspace Technologies Pvt. Ltd., with its office in Noida, and the eStore sits inside a larger Proctur platform that also covers coaching and school management, online examinations, fee collection and student and parent apps. The eStore page puts its scale at more than 10,000 courses sold, more than Rs. 10 crore in revenue generated and more than 1 million learners enrolled.
What you can sell
The eStore handles the formats coaching businesses sell most. Pre-recorded video courses are delivered with DRM protection and streaming. Test series cover mock tests, practice papers and what the page calls competitive exam preparation packages. Study materials include eBooks, PDFs and notes, sold securely. Course bundles turn several items into combo offers and packages. The FAQ adds live classes to that list and says creators can choose subscription-based access or one-time purchases depending on their business model. The FAQ's own description of getting started is short: "Simply sign up, upload your video courses, test series, or study materials, set your pricing, and connect a payment gateway."
Content protection is a central selling point, because a coaching institute's recorded lectures are its main asset. According to the FAQ, the DRM "prevents unauthorized downloading, screen recording, and sharing of your video content," and Proctur also offers device restrictions, watermarking and secure video streaming.
Selling, payments and revenue tools
Payments run through Indian methods: UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and EMI installment options, with "10+ Payment Options" listed on the page and the Razorpay logo shown among its badges. The FAQ says payments go directly to the educator's bank account. Pricing is in the creator's hands: you set your own course prices, create discount coupons, run flash sales and set up referral programs. The revenue tools section lists EMI options, a subscription model, a referral program, flash sales, affiliate marketing and auto renewals, and sales analytics track revenue, enrollments and the most popular courses.
The store itself is white-label. Each institute gets "your own branded eStore with custom domain, your logo and brand colors, personalized email communications, and branded mobile apps," and the FAQ promises that "Your students will see only your brand." The storefront includes a course catalog, student reviews, SEO optimization and a mobile-responsive design, and branded Android and iOS apps carry the same identity into students' phones.
Online exams and test series
Assessment is a strong area for Proctur, which is why it also sits among quiz and assessment tools. Its online exam software builds a question bank with MCQs, descriptive and mixed formats, and supports single-answer, multiple-answer and true/false questions with instant auto-grading, plus short-answer and long essay questions with a manual grading interface. A single exam can mix question types with section-wise timing. The process has four steps: create questions or import them from existing sources, schedule the exam with a date, time and duration and assign it to students, let students take it on any device with secure proctoring, and receive instant grading and detailed performance reports.
For exam integrity, the page lists randomized questions, browser lockdown, proctoring support, time limits and auto-submit. Attendance is recorded automatically when a student begins an exam, reminders go out before scheduled exams, and SMS and email alerts announce schedules and results. Reports come as detailed PDFs for students, parents and management, and comparative analytics track a student's progress over time. The exam page reports more than 50,000 exams conducted and says more than 3,000 institutes use it for online examinations. It also lists AWS hosting, 256-bit encryption and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The FAQ adds that teachers do not have to worry about exam paper leaks, citing strict privacy and security protocols.
The wider Proctur platform
Because the eStore is part of Proctur's institute software, a coaching business can run admissions, fee collection, attendance and classes in the same system. The homepage describes a coaching platform with a branded mobile app, online test series, live classes, AI-powered analytics and lead management, and live online classes with Zoom and Google Meet integration. The white-labeled iOS and Android app adds course management, batch scheduling, SMS and WhatsApp notifications, a parent communication portal and performance analytics. Fee collection integrates Razorpay and PayU, with automatic receipts, payment reminders and overdue alerts. Across all products, the homepage claims more than 4,000 schools, institutes and colleges, more than 1.3 million students and more than 20,000 faculty and teachers. Institutes with more than one location can use the franchise and multi-branch control and study center management modules, and the enterprise menu offers product customization, API integration, data migration and white-label solutions. The homepage says more than 1,500 coaching institutes use its coaching platform and features customer stories such as Hemant Bora Academy, which it describes as having grown from a small home-based operation into one of Pune's finest coaching institutes.
Getting started and support
The homepage invites coaching institutes to start a 14-day free trial and lists free onboarding. The eStore page offers a free demo and promises 24/7 dedicated support, and the callback form says the team responds within 2 hours. The pages do not list subscription prices or commission rates for the eStore, so costs are discussed during the demo.
Who it suits
Proctur eStore fits Indian coaching institutes and tutors who sell recorded lectures, test series and notes to students preparing for exams, and who worry about piracy. DRM, watermarking and device restrictions protect the videos, UPI and EMI make purchases easy for Indian families, and the exam engine turns a question bank into scheduled, auto-graded mock tests with reports for parents. An institute that already needs admissions, attendance and fee management gets those in the same platform. A solo creator outside India selling to an international audience will find the payment methods and features aimed squarely at the Indian coaching market.
