Perfectum AI is a cloud learning management system for training academies, companies and course creators that builds courses with AI, runs live cohorts and sells or licenses the finished training. Its homepage calls it "the LMS and B2B licensing marketplace for academies, enterprises and course creators," with AI authoring, live cohorts, certificates and multi-party licensing built in. The footer credits RoundDigital, and the site's structured data places the company in Mississauga, Ontario. The pitch is consolidation: the homepage promises to "replace 6 tools with one," covering authoring, delivery, certification, commerce and analytics, and it says every capability comes in one subscription with "no bolt-ons, no per-feature upsells." The site reports more than 1,200 academies running on Perfectum. A course creator gets a branded academy with checkout, an academy gets cohort scheduling and certificates, and a company gets SSO, seat assignment and compliance tracking, all from the same product.

AI authoring, tutoring and quizzes

AI course generation sits at the center of the product. The homepage says you can "Turn a prompt, PDF or URL into a full course" with modules, lessons and quizzes in minutes, and its three-step launch guide describes the workflow: drop in a prompt, PDF or URL, Perfectum drafts the full course, and "you review and refine." The FAQ adds drag-and-drop editing and pre-built templates for the parts the author changes by hand, and says most teams publish their first course or cohort within days.

Two more AI tools sit inside the course. The AI tutor offers personalized learner support, and the FAQ describes it as 24/7 AI tutoring, so a learner can ask about the material at any hour. The AI quiz generator produces knowledge checks built into every course. On the admin side, the dashboard pairs completions, revenue and at-risk learners with "AI insights that tell you what to do next," which points instructors at learners who are slipping. The comparison page sums up the positioning: Perfectum is "built around AI course generation and tutoring" rather than adding AI later.

Delivering training

Perfectum covers both self-paced and live delivery. The capability list names live cohorts, webinars, learning paths, certificates, cohort management and community. Cohorts and live sessions are scheduled inside the platform "with attendance, recordings and reminders built in," and the site describes instructor-led training with Zoom integration and cohort progress tracking. The comparison page frames the design as cohort-first, with "Bootcamp scheduling, live sessions, and cohort analytics for academies," which suits bootcamps and certification programs that run in groups with start dates.

Certificates are verifiable, and the platform tracks renewals, which matters for mandatory training that has to be repeated. For regulated teams, the homepage describes auto-refreshing content when a policy changes, renewal reminders and escalations, verifiable certificates and one-click audit exports. Reporting brings "Completions, engagement, revenue and at-risk learners" into one dashboard. Learners see their own workspace with courses in progress, completed courses and the AI tutor; the homepage shows separate views for admins, learners and instructors.

Selling, licensing and the marketplace

For creators and academies selling training, Perfectum includes built-in checkout with Stripe payments, coupons and subscription plans. The site says you can "Sell courses, bundles, and memberships with built-in Stripe checkout and revenue analytics," and sell seats, subscriptions and licenses "with Stripe Connect and multi-party payouts." The academy itself is white-label: your own domain, logo and colors, SSL and branding "down to the emails," and step two of the launch guide reads "Add your domain, logo and colors, then publish to your learners or the marketplace."

The marketplace is what sets the product apart from a plain LMS. The homepage argues that "Most platforms sell access," while Perfectum lets instructors sell licensable, resellable, white-label programs with a rights-management and payout layer built in. A creator sets license models, price and rights once; resellers can rebrand and resell within the rights granted; and companies or academies buy ready-to-deploy programs by the seat or by the site, then assign seats to learners through SCIM. Splits between creator, reseller and Perfectum are calculated automatically. In the homepage's sample listing, a per-seat license costs $29 per seat per year and the sample split shows a 10% Perfectum fee, with Stripe Connect, net-30 payouts and Stripe Tax noted on the order. Buyers on the company side get purchase orders, net-30 terms and consolidated invoicing.

Plans and prices

The homepage publishes three plans, each with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required:

  • Starter, $49 a month, "perfect for trying out the platform": up to 10 learners, up to 10 published courses and up to 5 active cohorts.
  • Growth, $149 a month, marked most popular: up to 100 learners, up to 100 published courses and up to 10 active cohorts.
  • Business, $399 a month, "For large organizations with unlimited needs": up to 200 learners, up to 500 published courses and up to 100 active cohorts.

The FAQ in the site's structured data also names an Enterprise plan at $999 a month. Prices are flat monthly plan fees with a learner cap, not a charge per learner, so the learner limits are the number to plan around: an academy expecting a few hundred students outgrows the Business plan's 200-learner ceiling. A "Compare all plans" link leads to the full feature comparison.

Enterprise controls, standards and integrations

For companies, Perfectum lists SSO, SCIM and role-based access, with single sign-on through SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and LDAP against your identity provider. It can "Import and track SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, and CMI5 content packages," so existing course libraries can move in. A REST API offers full CRUD access with OAuth, rate limits and SDKs, and webhooks send real-time events for enrollments, completions and assessments with signed payloads. The integrations hub names Okta, Azure AD, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, Stripe and Zoom. The standards strip in the footer lists GDPR, SCORM, xAPI, LTI, WCAG 2.1 and SOC 2, and the homepage hero carries "SOC 2 & GDPR" and "SCORM & SSO" badges.

Use cases on the site run from training academies and bootcamps to corporate employee training, course creators and experts, customer onboarding and product training, compliance and certification programs, and revenue-generating online courses. The comparison page invites teams moving from another LMS to talk to the Perfectum team about migration.

Who it suits

Perfectum fits a training academy or bootcamp that sells cohort programs and certifications and wants AI to cut the time spent writing lessons and quizzes. It also fits an expert who wants to license a program to companies and resellers rather than only sell seats to individuals, because the rights and payout layer is built into the same platform. Corporate L&D and customer training teams get SSO, SCIM, SCORM import and compliance tracking with renewals.

The learner caps are the main thing to check against your numbers. The Starter plan's 10 learners make it a trial tier in practice, and even the Business plan stops at 200 learners, so a creator with a large audience or a company with a big workforce should look at the Enterprise plan or talk to sales. Teams that want a simple self-paced course with no cohorts or AI will pay for capabilities they may not use.
