What Parlo is

Parlo is an e-learning platform, which its makers call a "platforma LMS najnowszej generacji" (a latest-generation LMS platform), for creating, running and selling online courses. The team at edu-platformy.com sets it up for each client as a complete package: "Kompleksowo wdrażamy platformy e-learning do tworzenia, prowadzenia oraz sprzedaży szkoleń i kursów online" (we implement e-learning platforms end to end for creating, running and selling training and online courses). Its clients, the homepage says, are training companies, language schools, public schools, trainers, and firms and corporations that need a full e-learning platform for online courses and remote classes.

The site is written in Polish, and the stated mission is to show a business "jak łatwo i przyjemnie przejść z offline do online i stworzyć dochodowy biznes w sieci" (how easy and pleasant it is to move from offline to online and build a profitable business on the web). Industries it names include business training, BHP (occupational health and safety) training, language courses, personal development, employee onboarding, driving schools, courses for people going to work abroad, legal and accounting courses, medical and beauty training, and tutoring.

Building courses and tests

A trainer builds courses directly on the platform or starts from ready-made ones, and manages training groups and virtual classes. Lessons can carry films, recordings, images, presentations and PDFs. The standout tool is the interactive builder for exercises, tests, quizzes and games, with "ponad 30 rodzajów" (more than 30 types), next to a separate test builder with 7 test types. The site stresses that a trainer can create modern online courses without any IT knowledge, and the customer stories back that up: Łukasz Baumgart of Legi-Trans, a road-transport consultancy, says he built his own course and a bank of ADR tests for drivers after the first training session and started selling to his existing clients.

Certificates are generated automatically from templates once a learner passes a test. Progress reports can be produced as summaries for individual learners and employees, filtered by different criteria. A gamification module rewards learners with prizes, coins and badges as they move through the stages of a course, with different gamification scenarios available.

Learners can study anywhere and on any device (laptop, tablet or smartphone), and the platform interface is available in Polish, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian and other languages. The platform page promises unlimited users, courses, tests and reports.

Live classes in virtual rooms

Remote classes run in virtual rooms (pokoje wirtualne) with cameras for every participant, or in a webinar format. The price of the platform includes a free one-year subscription to a virtual room, and the FAQ claims Parlo is "jako jedna z nielicznych" (one of the few) platforms to include free virtual room access. Virtual rooms are also sold on their own, as monthly or annual subscriptions, for teams that only need live classes.

Selling courses

The shop module turns the platform into a store. According to the FAQ, courses can be sold as soon as they are created, by online payment, card or BLIK, and the buyer gets access automatically after paying. The team helps choose a payment provider, naming Tpay, dotpay and PayU as examples, guides the client through registration and configures the shop. A mailing and newsletter system lets a school send campaigns to customers with products from the shop embedded, and an interactive calendar handles bookings for courses, classes or appointments. The platform page adds full automation of course sales, invoices and certificates.

Packages, license and lease

Parlo comes in configurable packages. The basic package covers your own courses and virtual classes, media sharing, the exercise and quiz builder (30 types), the test builder (7 types), automatic certificates, free virtual room access, progress reports, a company blog and training in using the platform. The extended package adds the sales module with payment integration, the mailing and newsletter system, gamification, a social portal module and the interactive booking calendar. More modules can be added at any time.

The platform is sold either as a one-time purchase of a license (jednorazowy zakup licencji) or as a lease (dzierżawa). The FAQ says a purchased platform becomes the client's property and is not shared with other companies. Hosting and the domain are provided, so the client needs no server of their own. A Cennik (price list) page sits in the menu, and an inquiry through the contact form brings a platform proposal matched to the company's needs, with a free online demo on request. The team launches a fully personalized platform in 8-10 working days ("8-10 dni roboczych") and then runs a series of training sessions on building courses, tests, interactive exercises and newsletters and on running the platform and shop. One client, Edyta Bednarczyk, a real-estate investment trainer, writes of "REALIZACJA w zaledwie 10 DNI!!" (delivery in just 10 days).

Support, the FAQ says, is always on watch, and the team carries out ongoing maintenance on clients' platforms. The platform page promises full technical support, several hours of individual training and help creating online courses.

BHP and ready-made courses

Occupational safety training is a large part of the business. The BHP version covers initial, periodic and role-specific training (wstępne, okresowe, stanowiskowe), with automatic generation of attestations and certificates, mass printing of certificates, live lessons in virtual rooms, a coordinator tool and the option to buy ready-made BHP courses with the platform. BHP Optimum chose a version with a landing page and a package of 6 ready BHP courses, and the Komplex story says the BHP attestations generated with Parlo "są zgodne z rozporządzeniem" (comply with the regulation) and so carry full legal force. Customers on that page include Ergonomika, HSE Professional, Bernaccy (in business since 2009), BHP-ODO and Fenix.

Beyond BHP, the company sells ready-made language courses in 5 languages and produces custom e-learning to order: "Klient dostarcza treść, my przekładamy to na język e-learningu" (the client provides the content, we translate it into the language of e-learning), as interactive presentations, exercises, tests, animations and video courses. It also builds landing pages, websites and online shops, offers SEO work and lead magnets, and its menu lists an AI assistant (Asystent AI) and micro-credentials (Mikropoświadczenia) among the platform topics.

Training employees

For companies training their own staff, the contact form offers a platform for internal training and onboarding, and the menu has a dedicated page for employee training. Progress reports per employee, automatic certificates and the BHP coordinator tool cover what an employer needs to assign courses and show that people completed them.

Who it suits

Parlo suits an established training company, language school or BHP provider that teaches in Polish, has its own content and wants a branded platform it can own outright, with someone else handling setup, hosting and training. Hutchinson Institute, edu4U and e-umiem.pl show the business-training use, Legi-Trans the niche-trade case, and the BHP customers the compliance-driven one. The included virtual room makes it a good match for schools that mix live and self-paced teaching.

A solo trainer can use it too (the site's BHP Academy story describes a one-person business), though the model of a purchased or leased platform with a guided setup is built for a business committing to e-learning for the long term.
