Mini Lessons Academy

Tap a star to rate

Mini Lessons Academy (MLA) is an AI course creator with a built-in course platform. You give it an idea, a document, a link or a video, and it drafts a structured course, then hosts it, sells it through Stripe and keeps students moving through it. The homepage pitches it to experts who want "a course that sells, with subscriptions that pay you every month", without tech, an agency or hiring. The company lists its address in Akron, Ohio, and the site names four main audiences: subject matter experts, coaches, agencies that automate first drafts for client projects, and educators turning lesson plans into courses "with 5E and Bloom's".

The homepage leads with its own numbers: "100,000+ courses created", "83% average completion" against what it calls an industry rate of 3-15%, and "First drafts in 90 seconds". It also says 70% of users start by uploading their own documents.

How a course gets built

The AI course creator starts from what you already know. According to the homepage, it researches your topic in real time, scanning studies, published books and the questions your audience asks, builds a learner persona, and structures the course on learning science. The pricing page promises "Upload your docs. See your course in under 3 minutes." Every word stays editable: you can adjust tone, depth or complexity, rewrite a section, expand a lesson or simplify a concept with a single prompt. The pricing FAQ says the AI builds "from your documents: your words, your frameworks, your style", and canvas mode lets you talk to the course directly, as in "Make Module 2 warmer."

Beyond the course itself, the same source can become an ebook (exported as PDF and DOC), an audiobook, a quiz and a landing page with checkout attached. Audiobooks either read the course word for word or narrate it as a presentation, with nine studio voices or a clone of your own voice. The Video Studio makes presenter, scene and slideshow videos without a camera, and image tools built on Flux, Imagen and GPT Image generate covers and lesson graphics. There is also an ebook creator, a picture book creator and ISBN barcodes for print-ready books. The site lists more than 20 course templates.

Teaching and keeping students engaged

The teaching tools are grouped as the Quiz Command Center ("Pro quizzes in seconds, every question type"), course materials (workbooks and bonuses attached to any lesson), content settings for drip, prerequisites and access per course, a student area described as "A real student home, with progress and Q and A", and speaker scripts, one per lesson. The homepage credits its completion figure to six design choices: chunked lessons, spaced repetition, active recall through built-in quizzes, progressive learning, drip release and automatic completion reminders. Industry pages show how these are meant to be used, from a faith leader turning a sermon series into a drip-released study course to compliance teams running a quarterly briefing "with proof of completion" and finance trainers using quizzes to confirm understanding before the next lesson.

Selling and growing

Publishing is one click, with unlimited students on every plan. Landing Page Studio generates sales pages with Stripe checkout built in, and a storefront shows your whole catalog on one branded page. You can sell a course for a one-time price or set up monthly or yearly subscription tiers, and the FAQ says you can bundle courses and that payments run through Stripe. Every plan also gets the Student Marketplace, where you can "Get discovered by buyers already shopping."

For marketing, the AI Coach includes nine AI marketing assistants that draft ads, emails and sales pages from your course, and a Marketing Vault holds sales pages, funnels and email sequences ready to use. Agencies and multi-brand businesses get workspaces for separate brands or clients with role-based team seats, and the homepage says there are no per-seat fees. Custom domains come with white-label and automatic SSL. SCORM 1.2 and 2004 export produces "One file" that "Drops into any corporate LMS", and the leadership and HR page pitches onboarding and upskilling teams, "exported to any LMS". On ownership, the FAQ is direct: "Courses, ebooks, audiobooks: all yours. Export anytime. We don't train on your data."

Plans, fees and trial

Pricing is published, and every plan includes unlimited courses, ebooks, students, landing pages and AI images. Billed annually, the plans are:

  • Hustlers: $300 a year, shown as $25 a month, for experts launching a first course. 35 document uploads, 5 audiobooks, 1 team seat, 1 workspace, 1 custom domain and a 5% transaction fee.
  • Founders, marked most popular: $660 a year ($55 a month). 100 document uploads, 25 audiobooks, 3 team seats, 2 workspaces, 3 custom domains and a 2% transaction fee, plus voice cloning, the full audio suite, the AI Coach, multi-file courses of up to 10 documents and removal of MLA branding.
  • Legends: $1,300 a year ($108 a month). Unlimited document uploads, 75 audiobooks, 10 team seats, 5 workspaces, 7 custom domains and a 0% transaction fee, plus white-glove support, a premium landing page studio, a course optimizer, a VIP masterclass library and 2 strategy calls.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing for agencies, teams and organizations, with a dedicated account manager, unlimited workspaces and seats, full white-label across every domain, SCORM delivery for corporate LMS at scale, priority onboarding and a custom SLA, and volume billing.

Each plan also carries a monthly video allowance that rises from Hustlers to Legends, with Audio Boost and Video Boost add-ons for more. The pricing page says annual billing saves up to $500 and locks in your rate for the year. Every monthly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and every paid plan is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Support is listed as 24/7 on every plan, and the homepage describes it as 24/7 human support. The pricing page shows a 5.0 rating on G2.

Who it suits

Mini Lessons Academy suits coaches, consultants and subject matter experts who have notes, frameworks or documents and want them turned into a sellable course, an ebook and an audiobook quickly. Vincent Polite of ATLV Marketing puts its appeal simply: "Mini Lessons Academy stands out because of how simple it makes the entire process". Agencies get separate workspaces, team seats and white-label domains, and trainers who deliver into a corporate LMS get SCORM export. The main thing to weigh is the fee structure: the entry plan takes 5% of each sale and Founders 2%, so a creator with steady sales may find Legends, at 0%, the better value.
