Mini Course Generator

Tap a star to rate

Mini Course Generator is an AI course creator, eLearning authoring tool and lightweight LMS in one product. You build a course with AI and a drag and drop block editor, then sell it, share it, embed it or export it. The homepage pitches it for "revenue generation, customer education, and training for partners, staff, and communities", and names its users as product managers, community owners, corporate trainers, creators selling online courses, coaches and consultants. It says it is "Trusted by over 20,000 Training Providers", and the FAQ claims the company launched "the first AI Course Creator back in late 2021".

The name describes an approach rather than a limit. The FAQ explains that both the admin and learner interfaces are built around bite-sized, focused segments suited to micro-learning, especially for customer, partner and community training, but "there’s actually no restriction on the overall length of your course."

Creating a course with AI

The AI Course Creator starts from a topic, a learning objective or an uploaded document such as a PDF or training manual, plus the target audience and the core knowledge you want learners to gain. It generates a course outline of modules, lessons and pages that is fully editable, so you review, rearrange and add your own segments before any content is written. It then drafts lesson text and supporting material page by page; settings let you add a learning objective to each page, generate relevant images and quiz questions, choose the language, or translate the content.

Interactivity comes from two places. The AI suggests quiz questions and knowledge checks, and the AI Interaction Builder turns plain text into flashcards, tabs and tables without manual formatting. The block editor adds special blocks such as Image Hotspot, and the homepage stresses escaping the "video + text" loop. Mini Course Generator also acts as a hub for outside media, "bringing together ThingLink 360° images, Spotify audios, Notebook LM videos, Gamma slides, Synthesia avatars, Canva visuals and much more from across the web".

For people who already work in AI assistants, the Mini Course Generator MCP lets you "Connect Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools directly to Mini Course Generator", so a course is built from what those tools already know about your team and content. The page says you can build, update and localize training from a single conversation, and that you set the permissions and can revoke access at any time. The feature list also names an Agentic LMS, an AI LMS and Agent Skills.

Courses are a team effort if you want them to be: you can invite colleagues to work on courses together.

Delivering and selling

Delivery is flexible. You can share a single course, a group of courses as a collection, or several collections on one showcase page. The homepage lists the access options: login-free public access, payment gateways, email collection, access granted to specific learners, or in-app access through SSO. Learners see one of 4 layouts, from a navigational view to a card-type view, and the homepage describes the product as "the agile LMS with certifications, badges, collaborator invites, detailed reporting, custom domains, and much more." Certificates and badges recognize achievements based on completion or success.

Courses can be shared by link, embedded on webpages, or exported to SCORM packages or PDF. The FAQ confirms "SCORM export (SCORM 1.2 and 2004)", so a course built here can run inside an existing LMS, and courses can also be shared inside your own web apps through integrations. Automations run through Zapier, Make and Pabbly, the feature list includes Community Boards and a Headless LMS, and there is an MCG App for Intercom and a WordPress plug-in.

The landing page builder

The landing page builder uses the same blocks as the course authoring tool, interactive elements included, so there is no second dashboard to learn. You can build a page for a single mini-course, a collection, or a showcase of your whole library, and the pages are hosted on the platform, so no separate website is needed. The builder page describes three uses: sales pages for selling courses to individuals, customer academies that act as "branded entry points for customer education that reduce support tickets and increase adoption", and hubs for training partners and communities. Pages adapt to mobile and tablets automatically and have a clean, SEO-friendly structure, and the FAQ recommends conversion blocks for testimonials and pricing tiers with your payment gateway integrated into the page.

Who uses it, and for what

The use cases on the site cover selling courses, monetizing YouTube courses, lead generation, in-app education, customer training, community training, partner training, employee training, compliance training, onboarding and sales team training, with industry pages for nonprofits, call centers, hospitality, automotive, manufacturing and small business. Customer quotes show the range. Futch, a certified trainer and coach, wanted "a micro-course that first-time site visitors could take instantly" as a lead magnet. Vernon, a program director, uses it for short explainer courses embedded in a website and a public-facing LMS. Sophie, a consultant, writes that being able to change the modules the AI generates "Just saved us DAYS of creation time." Ly, a freelance instructional designer, singles out the AI interaction builder and the "complete white label" experience. Jennifer, who works in customer success, says learners view mini-courses in "a very plain user interface" and that this lets her customers feel they are achieving something within a very short time.

Getting started

The homepage invites you to get started for free, with "No credit card required". The homepage and the landing page builder page do not list plan names or prices. Questions go through a message from your dashboard or by email, and the resources include a knowledge base, video tutorials, product updates and an AI hallucination whitepaper. The site is available in English and Spanish, and there is an affiliate program.

Who it suits

Mini Course Generator suits creators and coaches who want to turn expertise into short, interactive courses quickly and sell them from hosted landing pages. It suits software companies building customer academies or in-app training, and small training teams that want a simple LMS with certificates, reporting and SSO access. Instructional designers who deliver into a client's LMS get SCORM 1.2 and 2004 export. The trade-off is in the design: the learner interface is deliberately plain and bite-sized, which suits quick training better than a long, deeply branded academy experience.
