MemberKit
Tap a star to rate
MemberKit is a Brazilian members area platform for "infoprodutores", the creators who sell online courses and other digital products. It is not a checkout or a video host: it is the place where buyers log in, watch the lessons, earn certificates and come back for the next product. The company, Memberkit Tecnologia da Informação Ltda, says it has spent 7 years "impulsionando negócios digitais" (driving digital businesses), that R$ 2 bi (R$2 billion) in digital products have been delivered on the platform, and that more than 5,000 content producers use it. The site is in Portuguese, with English, Spanish and French versions in its language menu.
The members area
The student side is built as a "vitrine estilo Netflix", a Netflix-style showcase with vertical cards and several categories, and the site promotes its dark theme as more comfortable for students binge-watching courses for hours. Creators change colors, background images and text to match their own brand in a few clicks, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktops. Every plan is "100% Whitelabel", and the members area can run on MemberKit's subdomain or on the creator's own domain at no extra cost, with the SSL certificate included.
All of a creator's courses sit together in one area, which the site presents as a way to make the student's life easier and raise the chance of another purchase. If a student leaves mid-lesson, the exact video position is saved, so they can continue on any device.
Videos are not hosted by MemberKit. The FAQ says plainly that they must live on an external platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, Panda Video or Smart Player; MemberKit integrates with all four, and embed codes from other platforms also work. The "Plug and play" connection to a YouTube or Vimeo account publishes video lessons without copying embed code by hand. Extra materials such as audio files, spreadsheets and ebooks can be added, and uploads are unlimited.
Delivery, selling and payments
MemberKit does not receive payments either. The FAQ answers "Posso receber meus pagamentos pela MemberKit?" with "Não": creators need an external platform to take payments online, and MemberKit integrates with Hotmart, Eduzz, Monetizze and other major platforms. The pitch is flexibility: "Escolha seu sistema de pagamento preferido para vender seu curso com as melhores porcentagens e taxas possíveis" (choose your preferred payment system to sell your course with the most favorable percentages and fees possible). Creators can keep selling through traditional affiliate platforms or, in the site's words, save on fees and receive sales directly in their own bank account.
Delivery is automatic. A student receives the password and access link as soon as payment is confirmed, and for subscriptions access is blocked automatically when a payment is missed. Products can be delivered as perpetual access, recurring subscriptions or launches, and each module can be released by days after purchase, with an opening and closing date, or without restriction. For launches the site suggests discounted combos, unlimited access or a subscription offer, and creators can set an access limit on a course to earn again when students renew their enrollment. A subscription club format lets a creator release exclusive content periodically to the subscribers of each recurring plan.
There is no approval queue: the FAQ says a creator does not have to wait for the product to be approved, which allows pre-sales before the course is fully recorded. Students from an old members area are imported by uploading a spreadsheet of members, and MemberKit handles the rest.
Engagement: quizzes, gamification and email
Quizzes are multiple choice, with a minimum passing grade before the next lesson opens and immediate feedback based on the answers. Gamification awards automatic points for published comments, completed lessons, answered quizzes and ratings, feeds a ranking, and can release a bonus module or special lesson only when a student reaches a set score. Creators can also launch challenges, such as a contest for top video testimonials. Every plan includes communities, where students join discussions.
Email follows behavior. Automatic notifications go out at the time most convenient for each student, nudging them to keep watching, open a bonus module or join a new community discussion, and "tags inteligentes" (smart tags) drive an email sequence in the creator's own email marketing tool according to the student's progress.
Certificates and reports
After a student completes every lesson, a certificate of completion is ready to download and print. Creators upload their own branded template, change the typography and color of each dynamic text field, and can add a QR code for quick validation. All generated certificates stay available for download in the student's private area.
Reporting tracks the engagement and progress of each class through 5 key indicators, and ranks the strongest and weakest content of each course by NPS and Mscore. Data exports to CSV for reactivation campaigns and audience segmentation. Against piracy, every downloaded PDF carries the student's unique digital signature in the footer of each page, and the platform blocks simultaneous logins.
AI features
The AI assistant turns a course into a tutor trained on the course content. Students ask questions inside the members area and get answers faithful to the lesson material, with the exact video timestamp and a link to the lesson; the creator sees each student's conversation history, the satisfaction rate and the topics that raise the most questions. The site notes that answers are generated by AI and may contain errors, and the FAQ says AI credits for the assistant are sold separately in packs, not included in the monthly plan. Smart video search finds the exact spot in any video by words spoken in its captions, and an AI content editor rewrites text, adjusts tone of voice and translates into other languages. MemberKit also lets creators connect AI agents and ask Claude, ChatGPT or Grok about their members area, with reports on engagement, students at risk of churning and rankings.
Plans and trial
Pricing is published in reais and depends only on the number of members. Essencial costs R$ 197 a month for 1,000 members, Pro R$ 497 a month for 5,000 members and Escala R$ 697 a month for 15,000 members. Paid yearly, they cost R$1,970, R$4,970 and R$6,970, which the site says saves R$394, R$994 and R$1,394. Every plan includes unlimited courses, lessons and uploads, communities and full white label, and the site says it has plans up to 500 mil (500,000) members. When a creator passes the member limit, MemberKit suggests the next plan that fits, "sem cobranças surpresa" (with no surprise charges). Each plan can be tried free for 7 days, and the trial ends without charge if the account is canceled before it runs out.
Customer quotes on the homepage are specific. Eduardo Juliato, a music producer, says that over four years he set up "mais de 50 cursos" (more than 50 courses), and Romanni Souza writes that their team accidentally deleted a course with more than 100,000 comments and that "O time da Memberkit recuperou rapidamente" (the MemberKit team quickly recovered it).
Who it suits
MemberKit suits Brazilian creators who already sell through Hotmart, Eduzz or Monetizze and want a better student area than the one their checkout provides, with branding, gamification, certificates and an AI tutor in one place. It fits creators with several courses or a subscription club, since everything sits in one showcase and member count, not course count, sets the price. The trade-offs are that videos need their own host, payments need their own platform, and AI tutor usage is paid on top of the plan.
