What MalgNsoft is
MalgNsoft (맑은소프트) is a Korean e-learning company whose main product, Malgn eLearning (맑은이러닝), is a rented cloud LMS for anyone who wants to run an e-learning website: private academies and online lecture businesses selling courses, companies training staff, associations training members, and public institutions. The site's title calls it "국내 1위" (number one in Korea), and the cloud LMS page explains the model: for a low monthly fee, like ordinary web hosting, a customer gets the website, server management and video streaming without an initial build cost.
The company says it brings 16 years of LMS development and service experience, and its footer gives a head office address in Guro-gu, Seoul. Around the LMS it sells video hosting, content production and rental, AI tools and a list of add-on services, so a customer can start with a standard site and add pieces as needed. Most pages are in Korean, with an English option in the header.
The cloud LMS
The cloud LMS page groups the features into member management, content, course products, assessment and completion, external integrations, a books and goods market, orders and settlement, statistics and homepage management.
Content goes in as MP4 files, WBT content or external links, organized into lecture groups that can be reused across courses, with handout files attached per lesson. Video runs through the Kollus player (콜러스 플레이어), which blocks duplicate logins and duplicate playback, supports DRM downloads and device registration, and gives learners speed control, bookmarks, section repeat and resume. A course can be online, offline, blended or a package; offline courses get capacity limits, registration and cancellation, and QR code attendance. Sample lessons, sequential learning, per-lesson study periods and access extensions are all configurable.
Assessment is detailed. The exam module draws questions from a bank by difficulty level so each student can get a different paper, with auto grading, time limits, retakes and shuffled answers. Assignments, discussions and surveys sit beside it, and certificates are issued automatically when a learner meets the completion criteria, with several certificates per course possible. A training mode adds required and elective courses, credit settings and a certificate of completion. Learners get a "my classroom" with progress per lesson, course Q&A, notices, reviews with star ratings, and downloadable attendance confirmations and certificates.
For selling, the LMS handles orders through a PG payment gateway, fixed or percentage coupons by group or affiliation, refunds and sales statistics by day, month or course, exportable to Excel. Subscriptions with monthly or periodic auto-payment are offered for what the page calls a Netflix-style revenue model. A market sells books and goods alongside courses, with shipping charges and delivery tracking, and instructor settlement applies tax and revenue ratios per course or product. Points, membership grades and wish lists round out the storefront, and four admin levels (super admin, operator, course operator and affiliation operator) split the work.
The integrations it names cover VOD from outside video sites, Zoom, VodaEdu (보다에듀) and Teams for live classes, real-time chat and an AI chatbot, plus learning reminders by email, SMS and 알림톡 notification messages.
Versions for different customers
MalgNsoft packages the same platform for several audiences. For academies and online lecture businesses, it highlights instructor settlement, order statistics, VIP-only content for member groups and a randomized exam bank with six difficulty levels. For corporate training, affiliation managers monitor their own employees' learning, content can be shown by job rank, and SSO links the LMS to the company's internal systems so learning rights change automatically when HR records change; offline sessions and automated reminders are included. For associations, the site offers phone or i-PIN identity verification at sign-up and customized certificates for courses completed on time.
The public institution LMS rests on the CSAP cloud security certification; the homepage calls MalgNsoft the only LMS to hold it and says it is required for public bodies. The refund LMS is built to the standards of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (고용노동부) and the national HR development agency (산업인력공단), and the site says one solution covers three kinds of business: employer training, Tomorrow Learning Card (내일배움카드) courses and non-refund courses. A blended LMS targets group training institutions on that card scheme, with its own customer center and an authoring tool.
Video, content and AI services
Beyond the LMS, MalgNsoft sells video hosting, live streaming, OTT, encoding, a video lecture service marked free, and a video player. Content services cover content rental (the homepage mentions the three statutory training courses and internal training content), studio production filmed with a digital writing board, an authoring tool, content consulting, a secure player and Seoul National University Korean language content. AI services are MiriCanvas, a free design platform for banners, detail pages and videos, an all-in-one AI video editor, and a new AI tutor. Add-ons include a qualification testing service, mobile app production, design work, electronic payment, SMS, identity authentication and audit consulting.
Plans and prices
Unusually for this kind of vendor, prices are published. The homepage shows two lines of monthly plans. The unlimited-traffic T plans run from T-Starter at 500,000 won a month (1,000 cumulative members, 100GB of video storage) through T-Standard at 700,000 won (2,000 members, 150GB, subscriptions added) to T-Professional at 1,000,000 won (4,000 members, 200GB, points and a dedicated learning app). The unlimited-member M plans cost the same 500,000, 700,000 and 1,000,000 won but cap monthly video transfer at 500GB, 1,000GB and 2,000GB, with 50GB, 100GB and 200GB of storage. Every plan includes privacy protection, MiriCanvas and live lectures, and an independent build or enterprise tier is quoted on request.
A second pair of plans, built to the Ministry of Employment and Labor server standard, lists 3,800,000 won and 4,000,000 won a month on a 2-year contract, with 5,000 concurrent users, and the Professional version includes up to 5 sites free and 100,000 won per additional site. The FAQ says plan choice depends on whether you need the secure player, how many hours of content you hold (about 600MB per hour at 720p) and your cumulative member count.
There is a cloud demo with no sign-up for learners, administrators and the refund, public and blended versions. A basic site can be set up immediately after the contract; a custom design takes about a month, followed by admin training and a final test before launch. Support runs through a customer center by phone on weekdays and a help site.
Who it suits
MalgNsoft fits Korean academies, online lecture companies, lifelong education centers and YouTubers who want their own branded course site with payments, coupons, subscriptions and instructor payouts handled, and who prefer a predictable monthly fee to building a system. It suits Korean companies and associations that need SSO, rank-based content and offline training in one place, and it is built specifically for training providers working with government refund schemes and for public bodies that need CSAP.
The caveats are scale and language. The entry plan starts at 500,000 won a month, which is a commitment for a solo creator with one small course, and the product, its support and its compliance features are designed around Korean rules and payment systems.
