LearnBase is a course platform for creators who want to run their own online academy under their own brand, with AI doing most of the course production. Its homepage calls it "the AI-native platform to create your own online academy and sell courses under your brand": the creator uploads a video, and the AI generates the course, the quizzes and the student support, all on the creator's own domain. The headline promise is "0% commission on every sale, forever." The company behind it is Learnbase LLC, and the site counts more than 1,500 users on the platform and more than 2,100 course enrollments, with an average setup time of 3 minutes.
From video to course
The homepage frames the product against three chores it removes: weeks spent building a platform (choosing tools, designing pages, setting up payments), hours writing titles, descriptions and objectives for every course, and days writing quiz questions, answer options and reviews. The AI takes over the writing, and the hosted academy covers the platform work.
The workflow on the homepage has three steps. The creator uploads videos, PDFs or presentations. The AI then produces transcriptions, exercises and the course structure, which the site says is done in minutes. Finally the creator sets the pricing, connects a domain and starts selling.
The content AI builds the complete course from a video: title, modules, transcript and description, generated automatically. Quizzes are generated from the creator's own material, which the site pitches as "specific, targeted learning that sticks" rather than generic questions. The homepage stresses that this is built in rather than bolted on, listing course generation, quizzes, transcription and the student support agent as native features, with "No plugins to install, no third-party integrations to maintain, no extra cost." A post on the company blog adds built-in video hosting with adaptive streaming, student analytics and progress tracking, and multi-language support in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
What students get
Students take the course on the creator's academy, under the creator's domain, logo and colors. The homepage mockup shows the learner view as a course curriculum with a progress percentage for each module next to an auto-generated quiz. An AI agent trained on the course content answers their questions around the clock; the homepage calls it "An assistant that never sleeps" and puts it as "You sleep, it works." On the pricing table this assistant is listed as part of the Pro plan. When a student completes a course, the platform issues a personalized certificate under the creator's brand, which the site says students share, giving the creator free visibility.
Selling and branding
Creators can sell individual courses or subscriptions, and payments go directly to the creator's account. "Every dollar your students pay goes to you", the homepage says, with "No revenue share, no hidden fees, no percentage that grows as you grow." Both plans carry the same 0% commission on student payments.
Branding depends on the plan. Both plans include a custom domain with SSL. The homepage says students never see the LearnBase brand, but the Starter plan lists a "Powered by LearnBase badge", and full white-labeling, with no LearnBase branding at all, is a Pro feature.
API and MCP server for automation
LearnBase offers a typed REST API and a built-in Model Context Protocol server, so a creator can automate the academy or plug an AI agent such as Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT into their tenant with one API key. For a technical creator or a small team that already works with AI agents, that means course and student operations can be scripted rather than clicked through.
Plans and prices
The pricing section is headed "Simple, transparent pricing" and offers two plans, both with a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card and can be canceled at any time.
- LearnBase Starter, $39 a month, "For your first students": up to 100 active students, unlimited courses, 20 GB of storage included (then $0.10 per GB), 10 AI video analyses a month, custom domain and SSL, completion certificates, advanced analytics, and the Powered by LearnBase badge. The site notes you can upgrade to Pro whenever you outgrow it.
- LearnBase Pro, "Everything unlimited, for academies already selling": a regular price of $149 a month, shown at a launch offer of $97 a month that the site says can be locked in forever. It includes unlimited students and courses, 100 GB of storage (then $0.10 per GB), unlimited AI generation, the AI assistant for students, custom domain and SSL, white-labeling, completion certificates and priority support.
The main limits to plan around are the 100 active students and 10 AI video analyses a month on Starter, and storage beyond the included amount on either plan, billed per GB.
Support and customers
Support is handled by people. "No bots, no ticket queues, no canned replies", the homepage says: a creator who writes in talks to someone who knows the platform, and the site calls that "a feature, not a luxury." A demo can be requested from the homepage, and the footer links to a public roadmap, a page of example academies and a comparison section.
The example the site gives is Pulso Health. Its founder and CEO, credited as PH, is quoted in Spanish: "tremenda la plataforma, la atención al detalle y la velocidad de las iteraciones" (a tremendous platform, the attention to detail and the speed of the iterations). The site says Dr. La Rosa sells health courses to more than 585 students at curso.pulso.health, on his own domain and brand, built with LearnBase. The company blog, published in English, Spanish and Portuguese, carries guides on selling courses on your own website and on commission-free selling.
Who it suits
LearnBase suits an expert, coach or small academy that already has recorded material and an audience, and wants a branded course site fast without writing course descriptions and quizzes by hand. Starter covers up to 100 active students at a low monthly price, and Pro, at its launch price, opens unlimited students, the AI student assistant and full white-labeling for an academy that is already selling. Creators who like to automate will get real use from the API and MCP server. A buyer should use the 14-day trial to check that the AI-generated course structure fits their teaching style. Students come from the creator's own marketing, so the creator brings the audience.
