KASA

Tap a star to rate

KASA is a white-label LMS for coaching institutes, online academies, independent trainers, EdTech startups and skill development centers, and its footer says it is built for education teams in India. It gives an academy one branded platform to sell courses, run live classes, manage students and faculty, collect payments and issue certificates, instead of a website in one tool, payment links in another and live classes in a third. Recorded self-paced courses, live batches and hybrid programs all run on the same core.

The homepage puts some numbers on that: 250K+ learners managed, 18K+ courses delivered, ₹12Cr+ in course sales tracked, and 99.9% workspace uptime. It also describes KASA as trusted by 1,000+ course businesses, coaching teams and training brands.

Courses, live batches and exams

KASA supports three course models. In self-learning course mode, recorded lessons become a guided course with modules, downloadable resources, progress and completion rules, assignments and completion certificates, so a learner can study on their own. The site says learners have 24/7 access, and an academy can run a catalog-style setup that sells several programs with different course models.

Live teaching gets the most attention on the site. Classes run on BigBlueButton inside the LMS, organized into batches with calendars, schedules, reminders, attendance and replay access. The homepage's class view shows the live link shared with the batch and the recording saved automatically to a replay library. Faculty-led cohorts, live doubt sessions and assignments sit in the same class workspace, and the FAQ on the online academies page confirms that live and hybrid delivery can be added later to a program that started as self-paced. Hybrid delivery blends recordings, live doubt sessions, assignments, exams and guided support.

For assessment, KASA covers assignments, tests and quizzes, result workflows, completion rules, certificate rules and branded certificates, and the homepage says these exam and certificate features can match the Starter, Plus or Enterprise plan an academy is on.

What learners, faculty and admins see

After enrollment, a learner gets one dashboard with course access, live class links, assignments, tests, certificates, notices, orders and progress tracking. Faculty have their own workflow layer, where they manage assigned courses, class sessions, schedule views, exams, batches, students and reminder actions. Admins control users, courses, orders, leads, certificates, reports, role access and plan limits from a single operating dashboard.

Selling courses and collecting fees

The selling side starts with a branded academy website: course pages, pricing, landing funnels, SEO pages, contact forms, demo request forms and a learner login, on the academy's own domain with its logo and colors. Checkout runs through Razorpay, and the platform ties course sales to invoices, coupons, orders, access control, refunds and revenue visibility. The homepage describes the flow this way: every order opens the right course, invoice, dashboard and follow-up record automatically.

For coaching institutes, the same system handles batches, fee collection, student records and institute operations. The learner lifecycle view tracks enquiries, admissions, fee status, course access, assignments, certificates and progress in one place.

Education CRM and reports

KASA includes an education CRM aimed at admissions. When a prospect requests a demo or sends an enquiry, the CRM captures the source, the page, the call to action, the intent and the follow-up context, so the academy can move serious leads toward paid enrollment. Reports and the admin dashboard track course growth, usage limits, leads, plan access, orders and academy performance. The online academies page suggests pairing this with landing pages, pricing plans, demo requests and lead capture to support paid ads and organic search.

The software underneath

The homepage is unusually open about the stack. Its infrastructure section describes the packaged software, under the name CWK LMS, as a Next.js 16 client and a NestJS backend in Docker-managed services, hosted on AWS with EC2, RDS PostgreSQL and S3 for media, with BigBlueButton for live classes, Resend for email, VAPID for notifications, social login through Google, Meta and Apple, and Razorpay for payments. Setup is pitched as a 1-click installation: configure the domain, connect the keys for payments and email, brand the academy, and start onboarding learners, with SSL and custom domain mapping included, so the academy's brand, not KASA's, faces the learner.

Industries, free tools and support

KASA publishes industry LMS pages for IIT JEE, NEET, UPSC and CA coaching, spoken English, yoga, dance and music academies, coding bootcamps, digital marketing, tuition classes, teacher training, corporate training, nursing and computer institutes, beauty academies, financial education, language academies, competitive exams and coaching franchises. Its resources include guides on starting an online academy in India, selling recorded courses, running live classes with batches and replays, course certificates and course pricing.

Alongside the LMS, the site runs a set of free tools: an AI resume builder and ATS checker, a final year project kit, a career roadmap generator, an AI quiz generator, an AI question paper generator, a study timetable generator, an attendance calculator, and academy tools such as a course pricing calculator, an academy profit calculator, a fee receipt generator, an admission form generator and a certificate generator.

Onboarding is built around a workflow-based demo. The FAQ says an academy usually supplies its logo, colors, domain preference, course list, pricing structure, faculty details and delivery model, and the team shapes the storefront, learner flow and operations around them. Demo and support requests go to the getkasalms@gmail.com address, and the trainer solution mentions launch support.

Plans and pricing

The homepage names three plans, Starter, Plus and Enterprise, and says courses, coupons, certificates and roles are gated by plan, with prices in Indian rupees. The pages carry no prices; the FAQ and product tour cover them.

Who it suits

KASA suits Indian coaching institutes and academies that teach in batches and want live classes, recorded courses, fee collection, admissions follow-up and certificates under their own brand, especially those preparing students for exams such as IIT JEE, NEET, UPSC or CA. It also fits trainers and EdTech startups that want a ready LMS on their own domain without commissioning custom development, and skill development centers that need structured programs with assessments and certificates. Its Razorpay checkout, rupee pricing and India-focused industry pages point to institutes selling in India. A solo creator who only wants to upload a single recorded course may find the batch, faculty and CRM tooling more than they need, and an academy will want the demo to see which features its plan includes.
