What EADBOX is
EADBOX is a hosted online course platform, an EAD (ensino a distância, distance learning) system in the site's own vocabulary, for people and companies who want to sell courses or train their own staff. The homepage title calls it the "Plataforma EAD mais completa e intuitiva para cursos online" (the most complete and intuitive distance-learning platform for online courses), and its opening line sums up the pitch: "Na EADBOX você cria cursos online com a sua marca, gerencia pagamentos e interage com seus alunos, tudo num só lugar" (on EADBOX you create online courses under your own brand, manage payments and interact with your students, all in one place).
The site is written in Portuguese and counts its customers' sales in reais. It addresses three kinds of buyer, each with its own entry point: "Quero treinar colaboradores" (I want to train employees), "Tenho uma universidade" (I run a university) and "Quero vender cursos online" (I want to sell online courses). The company's own description says EADBOX was founded to innovate, improve and widen access to education and to professional training of every kind, through a system meant to be simple and intuitive for students and tutors alike.
Building and selling a course
For a course creator, EADBOX bundles the parts of an online school. The homepage lists them in one line: "Plataforma EAD, automação de marketing, webinars e gestão de pagamentos" (a distance-learning platform, marketing automation, webinars and payment management), presented as everything a person needs to teach online. The company description adds live webinar broadcasts to the course side, so a creator can run a live session on the same platform where the recorded course lives, and the marketing automation sits next to the checkout rather than in a separate tool.
Each school gets its own front door: "Tenha sua própria escola online, com site profissional, domínio personalizado e de forma muito fácil!" (have your own online school, with a professional website and a custom domain, very easily). The site's description says the customer controls the brand, the student data and the reports from one place. That matters to a creator who wants the school to look like their business rather than like a listing inside someone else's marketplace.
Video protection gets a section of its own. "Com a EADBOX você pode criptografar suas video-aulas e evitar que seus cursos sejam pirateados" (with EADBOX you can encrypt your video lessons and keep your courses from being pirated), the homepage says, under a line about respecting the value of the creator's content and not taking chances with the security of an online course. For someone selling a premium course in a niche where recordings get passed around, encrypted lessons are a practical reason to choose a dedicated platform.
Completion is the outcome the site leans on hardest: "Com a EADBOX, 82% de todos os alunos finalizam seus cursos" (with EADBOX, 82% of all students finish their courses), which it calls "5x mais do que outras plataformas de ensino online" (5 times more than other online teaching platforms). Both figures are the company's own claim.
Training employees and running a corporate university
EADBOX is also sold to companies. A Para Empresas (for companies) section sits in the main menu, and the employee-training page is titled "Crie treinamentos online para seus funcionários" (create online training for your employees). Its description promises to keep "sua equipe, clientes e parceiros a todo vapor com um construtor de curso fácil e ferramentas de acompanhamento de progresso e desempenho" (your team, customers and partners going at full steam with an easy course builder and tools for tracking progress and performance). An image on that page is captioned "Certificados na Plataforma Eadbox." (certificates on the Eadbox platform).
The company description lists the corporate uses directly: training employees, training salespeople, cutting costs, streamlining processes and running a corporate university (universidade corporativa). It names organizations of several sizes that use the platform, among them Heineken, Aché, Oi, Dataprev, WiseUp, Nufarm, Banese, ABBC, Grupo Moura, Locaweb, Abrale and the Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro (the Rio de Janeiro city government). The homepage makes the same point in general terms: "Pequenas e grandes empresas usam a EADBOX todos os dias para entregar seu conhecimento de forma rápida e prática" (small and large companies use EADBOX every day to deliver their knowledge quickly and practically). The same course, webinar and reporting tools serve both the creator selling to the public and the company training its own people, so a business can sell courses to customers and train staff on one account.
The success team
Support is where EADBOX sets itself apart in its own telling. The homepage promises "um time de especialistas em ensino online 100% preparado para te ajudar a escalar seu negócio" (a team of online-teaching specialists fully prepared to help you scale your business) and says a customer can count on the biggest specialists in online teaching throughout the building of the business. The success team, it says, "conta com um painel de indicadores da sua escola online e fica sempre atenta para te ajudar no momento certo" (has a dashboard of your online school's indicators and stays alert to help you at the right moment).
Two scenarios spell out what that means in practice. If sales drop ("Suas vendas caíram?"), one of the sales specialists follows the school's results and brings a plan to get sales moving again. If a course shows low engagement, the customer should "se prepare para receber a ligação de um dos nossos especialistas em educação digital para te ajudar na formatação do conteúdo" (get ready for a call from one of our digital education specialists to help format the content). That is proactive account management, with the platform calling the customer, rather than a help desk that waits for a ticket.
Ordinary support runs through an FAQ and support center, a dedicated support email address, a general contact address and phone line, and a "Fale com nossos consultores" (talk to our consultants) link, and a contact form lets a visitor ask a consultant to call back. For self-study, creators get a blog, a library of free materials and an academy; the employee-training page links that academy as the HeroSpark course academy for learning to create digital products from scratch, along with guides on creating and selling a course, members areas, sales funnels and email marketing, a course-planning tool, a persona generator for defining the ideal student, and a kit on setting up a recording studio on any budget.
Figures the site publishes
The homepage prints three running totals: "+40K cursos online" (more than 40K online courses), "+2.4Mi alunos cadastrados" (more than 2.4 million registered students) and "+R$55Mi vendidos pelos clientes" (more than R$55 million sold by customers). Another line says thousands of people use EADBOX to reach "quase 2 milhões de alunos" (almost 2 million students) every day with courses that actually teach.
One customer quote carries the creator case. João Amadio, quoted on the homepage, says: "Eu dava aulas para veterinários somente em Curitiba. Agora eu ensino pessoas em mais de 140 cidades e ganho mais de R$40.000 todos os meses vendendo meus cursos online" (I used to teach veterinarians only in Curitiba. Now I teach people in more than 140 cities and earn more than R$40,000 every month selling my online courses). That is one customer's result in his own words, not a typical figure.
Trial and getting started
The site publishes no prices or plan names. The main buttons read "Começar grátis" (start free) and "Criar meu curso online!" (create my online course), with the note "Teste 100% gratuito e sem cartão de crédito" (a 100% free test, no credit card needed), so a creator can open an account and build before paying. Anyone who wants a walkthrough first can book a "demonstração guiada" (guided demonstration), and a separate button asks a consultant to make contact.
Who it suits
EADBOX fits a Portuguese-speaking creator or training business that wants its own branded school and values hands-on help: a specialist trainer moving classes online, like the veterinary teacher in the testimonial, or an expert whose recorded lessons are worth protecting with encryption. The success team's dashboard and outbound calls suit a customer who would rather be coached on sales and engagement than work it out alone, and the webinar tool covers live teaching without a second subscription.
It also suits companies that need a place to train employees, sales teams, customers and partners, or to run a corporate university, given the employee-training page and the list of corporate users. A company already selling courses to the public can train its own staff on the same system.
The caveat is language. The site and its support are in Portuguese, so an English-speaking team would be working in a second language, and pricing has to come through the free test or a conversation with a consultant.
