What EAD Plataforma is

EAD Plataforma is a Brazilian online course platform and LMS for two kinds of customer: creators of digital products (infoprodutores) who sell courses to the public, and companies that train their own staff. The homepage puts it in one line, "Plataforma EAD para criar e vender cursos online ou treinar equipes" (a distance-learning platform to create and sell online courses or train teams), and promises "Sua escola online, com a sua marca e no seu domínio" (your online school, under your brand and on your domain).

The company behind it is EAD Plataforma Tecnologia para Educação Ltda, with an address in Bauru/SP, and the footer says the product is developed in Brazil. The homepage claims 12 years on the market, "1.800 clientes ativos" (1,800 active customers) and "+10 milhões de alunos" (more than 10 million students). The company's blog describes the platform as built for digital-product creators, corporate universities, schools and colleges.

The student portal and the course

The learner side is the Área de Membros (members area). The homepage describes it as the place where the student watches lessons, follows progress, joins the forum and downloads the certificate, "com a sua identidade, no seu domínio e também como app no celular" (with your identity, on your domain and also as a phone app). Courses can be grouped into learning paths (trilhas) by audience, team or goal, and the blog adds a library, notifications, forums, permissions, billing and multiple instructors to the student environment. A Google review shown on the homepage describes building courses, modules, lessons and exams in the admin panel as easy.

Assessments come with automatic answer keys, and a certificate is issued on completing each learning path. Gamification adds points, achievements and a ranking to keep students engaged. White-label settings cover colors, banners, logo, your own domain and certificates in your brand. Reports show performance, completion and engagement in real time, per student or per team. The company counts "mais de 20 funcionalidades" (more than 20 features) in all, meant to replace a stack of separate tools.

Video, live classes and meetings

Three named modules handle video. EAD Player streams recorded lessons with DRM, encryption and dynamic watermarking, which the FAQ says is there to make unauthorized copying harder. EAD Live broadcasts through OBS with integrated chat, and the recording can go straight into the course library. EAD Meet runs video-conference rooms with camera, microphone and screen sharing for "até 500 alunos por encontro" (up to 500 students per meeting). The blog lists live classes with chat, and groups and classes (turmas), among the platform's features, so a school can run cohorts alongside self-paced material. The FAQ notes that assessments, watermarking and some other features vary by plan.

Selling with EAD Checkout

EAD Checkout is the built-in sales page. It takes Pix, boleto and credit card in up to 18 installments ("cartão em até 18x"), lets the seller set conditions for each offer, puts sign-up and payment on a single page, and opens access once payment is confirmed. The creator section of the homepage lists coupons and recurring billing, and the product menu describes the checkout as covering payments and recurring subscriptions. The blog adds shopping carts and discount coupons, and claims the company has "as menores taxas de checkout do mercado" (the lowest checkout fees on the market).

A banner across the site, aimed at creators who move their checkout over, advertises "0% Pix e boleto", "2,99% cartão" and "dobro de recursos por 1 ano" (double the resources for 1 year), with the deadline "até 30/09" (until 30/09). A creator selling to the public keeps the brand, the data and the relationship with students, in the homepage's words, rather than handing them to a marketplace.

For companies

The corporate offer is a white-label LMS: "Centralize o T&D em uma plataforma de treinamento corporativo com identidade própria, relatórios em tempo real e suporte consultivo" (centralize training and development on a corporate training platform with its own identity, real-time reports and consultative support). Companies get engagement and completion reports, integrations and dedicated human support. Team management organizes employees by department, role or unit, and the FAQ says the platform can train partners and customers as well as staff. The footer lists a separate workplace-safety LMS (LMS Segurança do Trabalho).

Two customer stories carry the corporate case. Paloma Costa of Mitsubishi Electric says the platform has helped "tanto com os alunos, instituições técnicas, como dentro da própria Mitsubishi" (with students and technical institutions as well as inside Mitsubishi itself). Matheus Zapiello of Performance Academy says: "De um ano para cá já formamos mais de 5 mil pessoas, todos os alunos acessam os materiais dentro da EAD Plataforma" (in the past year we have trained more than 5 thousand people, and all the students access the materials inside EAD Plataforma). The homepage also shows a 4,5 rating from 182 Google reviews.

Integrations, security and support

The site counts "+30 integrações" (more than 30 integrations) across communication, email, video and automation, and names Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mailchimp, Discord, Zapier, Make, Vimeo and YouTube. More apps for sales, CRM, support and automation sit in the EAD Store, and API and webhook access varies by plan.

On security, the site states compliance with Brazil's LGPD data law, lists SSO next to it, and says the platform runs on AWS infrastructure with TLS-encrypted connections, with a public DPA and list of sub-processors.

Support is in Portuguese. Every customer gets structured onboarding and follow-up from a customer success specialist, and the FAQ says the form of support varies with the plan. No coding is needed to set up brand, domain and content from the panel, though advanced integrations or customizations may need technical help. Migration from another platform is assisted: the customer presents the current platform, content and student base, and the team agrees the scope, steps and timing. Tutorials live in a Help Center, the sales team answers on WhatsApp and by phone from Monday to Friday, 9h to 18h, and a 15-minute demo with a specialist can be booked without commitment. A partner program passes client projects to qualified service partners, who are paid for the work.

Plans and pricing

Prices sit on a separate plans page with a comparison table. The FAQ explains the model: plans are annual, with prices shown in up to 12 installments, and there is no implementation fee. Plans differ in simultaneous access, storage and features such as live sessions, assessments and integrations. Registered users are unlimited; the cap is on how many people are connected at the same time, which matters when a whole cohort joins a live class or an exam at once.

The company's blog says there are 4 plans, one of them free. On the free plan a creator can register unlimited courses, products and students, but only one course can be active at a time. The same article notes that features and commercial terms change over time and points readers to the current plans.

Who it suits

EAD Plataforma suits a Brazilian creator who wants a school on their own domain with checkout, protected video and live classes in one place, and who sells in reais through Pix, boleto and card installments. A creator unsure about the platform can start on the free plan with one active course and move up when a second course is ready.

It suits training companies and corporate L&D teams too. The white-label LMS, team management, learning paths with certificates and per-team reports cover internal training, the simultaneous-access model leaves the number of registered staff unlimited, and the Mitsubishi Electric and Performance Academy stories show both uses in practice. The site, support and checkout are built around Portuguese and Brazilian payment methods, so it fits teams that sell and train in Portuguese best.
