What DoCourse is

DoCourse is a hosted course platform for Romanian creators that puts courses, a private community, video hosting and email marketing in one account. Its footer describes it as "Platforma românească all-in-one pentru creatori de cursuri online" (the all-in-one Romanian platform for online course creators), and the homepage leads with "0% comision din vânzările tale" (0% commission on your sales). The interface and support are in Romanian.

The platform is run by DoChat Marketing Education S.R.L., based in Tunari, Ilfov county, Romania, and the footer says its data is hosted in the European Union. The homepage says more than 50 creators in Romania build with DoCourse, and the site has dedicated pages for coaches, psychologists, trainers, mentors, educators and beginners. The pitch throughout is practical: upload the lessons, publish and send the link, with no separate website or external hosting needed and a course that can go live the same day.

Building and delivering a course

Both plans include unlimited courses and lessons and unlimited files, whether video, audio, PDF or anything else. Video is hosted on the platform itself and protected against copying, with 50 GB on Starter and 100 GB on Pro, so a creator does not need YouTube or Vimeo to deliver lessons.

Access is flexible. A course can be public, private or released on scheduled dates, with sequential progression so students move through lessons in order. For a simple course a creator can give access by link alone, without asking students to create an account, which the site suggests for pilots and quick validation. Students who join the community get an account, made in a few seconds, which tracks their progress in a learner dashboard. Course pages get customizable URLs.

Assessment is AI-assisted. The plan list includes "Quiz generat cu AI din lecțiile tale" (a quiz generated with AI from your lessons), and the mentoring page adds a certificate at the end of the course. The site's footer links to an AI policy written for the EU AI Act.

Mobile is included on every plan. The DoCourse apps are published on the App Store and Google Play at no extra cost and with nothing to configure: students get phone notifications about a new lesson or a live session, join live sessions from the phone with camera and microphone, and carry videos, materials and the community with them. In the browser, the interface is optimized for mobile and desktop.

The community

Community is the second half of the product, not an add-on. A creator switches on a private community for any course they choose, and it sits next to the course so discussion stays with the material. Inside it, members find events, a leaderboard and challenges with points, direct messages between members and with the creator, and mentions in posts; the FAQ notes that conversations stay inside the platform rather than moving to WhatsApp. The homepage also lists an AI assistant for the community. On every plan, community members are added automatically to the creator's contact list.

Communities can be free or paid, and on Pro a free community can recommend a paid one. The FAQ says a creator can charge a monthly subscription for a community through Stripe on the Pro plan, "fără comision reținut de DoCourse" (with no commission kept by DoCourse).

The mentoring page shows how these pieces combine. It describes a cohort program in which 10 to 30 people start together, receive one stage a week and meet the mentor live, with scheduled access by date keeping the cohort in step and later joiners finding the recordings in the course. It also describes a subscription community with core lessons and one live session a month, and a foundation course that qualifies people for one-to-one mentoring.

Live sessions with DoLive

Live sessions are part of the Pro plan. A creator starts a session from a button and members get a notification on their phone; students join with one click from the community, without installing anything or creating a separate account. The room cannot be shared outside the community ("Linkul nu circulă", the link does not travel), and when the session ends the recording is published in the community with a protected player. There is no time limit, and the homepage says no session gets cut off at 40 minutes in the middle of a lesson.

Selling and email with DoMail

Pro adds DoMail, the built-in email marketing tool. It offers unlimited campaigns, lists and segments that community members and students join automatically, automated drip sequences, and statistics on opens, clicks and where sales come from, with unlimited lists and subscribers at no extra cost as an audience grows. Sales pages and capture pages are generated with AI and carry a Stripe payment button, and a full funnel ties a lead magnet, a capture page and a thank-you page to the creator's list. Pro also adds advanced sales statistics and priority support.

Plans and pricing

DoCourse publishes two plans, billed monthly or annually, with the pricing page marking the annual option at 17% off:

  • Starter, €9 a month: unlimited courses and lessons, the community with events, leaderboard and challenges, 50 GB of protected video hosting, the iPhone and Android apps, unlimited files, AI-generated quizzes, scheduled and sequential access, the learner dashboard, customizable URLs, support in Romanian and 0% commission.
  • Pro, €29 a month: everything in Starter plus DoLive sessions and recordings, 100 GB of video hosting, DoMail email marketing, AI sales and capture pages with a Stripe button, funnels with lead magnets, free communities that recommend paid ones, advanced sales statistics and priority support.

The mentoring page says prices stay the same however many students a creator has. The first 100 creators on Pro keep €29 a month for life, and the homepage says a new Scale plan and higher prices will follow after those first 100.

The payment terms are spelled out on the pricing page. Prices are in euros and final, because the operating company is not registered for VAT, and the total appears on the Stripe payment page and the invoice before confirmation. Creating an account is free and needs no card; the 7-day free trial of a plan asks for a card at signup but does not charge it during those 7 days. If the creator does not cancel, the subscription starts and renews automatically, monthly or annually, and it can be canceled anytime from Settings with effect at the end of the paid period. Consumers have a right of withdrawal within 14 days of the contract by writing to the company, paying proportionally for the service already used.

Who it suits

DoCourse fits a Romanian-speaking coach, psychologist, trainer or mentor who wants lessons, a private community, live sessions and an email list in one place without paying a cut of each sale. Mentors running small cohorts get scheduled access, live sessions with recordings and a community with challenges and a leaderboard, and creators building recurring income can sell a monthly community subscription on Pro.

The trade-offs follow from the plan split and the focus on Romania. Live sessions, paid communities, sales pages and email marketing all sit on Pro, so a creator who plans to sell and promote from the platform should budget for €29 rather than €9. The interface and support are in Romanian, which suits the local market the platform is built for.
