What Astron Members is
Astron Members is a members area platform for creators who sell courses and other digital content, the market Brazilians call infoproducts. A creator builds a "club", the company's word for a members area, fills it with courses and communities, and sells access to it. The site is in Portuguese with prices in reais, and it supports Brazilian checkout options such as Pix and boleto alongside cards.
The company describes Astron as "A área de membros premium que virou padrão pra quem vive de conteúdo, desde 2019" (the premium members area that became the standard for people who live from content, since 2019). Its timeline says it launched in 2019 as the first Netflix-style members area, was voted Brazil's best members area in 2022, and has now reached more than 5,000,000 users impacted. Its main argument is that a creator should not scatter a buyer across a landing page, a social profile, a checkout, a members area and a separate community: in Astron, capture, sale, delivery and retention all happen in one place.
Building the members area
Netflix-style showcase. The course area looks like a streaming service, with carousel covers, organized modules and the club's own colors, logo and visual identity. In a paid plan a creator can create unlimited courses inside a club and sell them separately.
Video hosting. Lessons are uploaded straight into the course panel, with no external player or link. The company says there is no extra cost for an outside video tool and no fixed storage plan: the creator pays for the bandwidth students actually use watching, month by month. Videos are protected against copying and download with DRM, included at no extra cost.
Certificates and quizzes. A certificate center issues certificates when a student finishes a course. The certificate limit in each plan refers to templates: a creator designs a template, sets the requirements, and every student who meets them can issue a certificate with their own details. Paid plans include unlimited quizzes.
Languages. Each club can run in its own language, set in the club settings, so a creator can sell courses in different languages. The site itself is offered in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
Control. Admin accounts carry role-based permissions, creators can publish their own terms of use for students, and a customization system applies the club's identity across the area. All plans include unlimited attachment uploads and immediate access for students as soon as a payment is confirmed.
Communities and the student app
Communities work like forums inside the members area, where students discuss topics and help each other. A creator can open a community to everyone or limit it to a group by class, subject or amount paid, and the plan determines how many communities a club can have. The homepage presents the community feed as part of selling too: a new lead sees other members' posts and wants to join.
Students also get Astron's own app for iOS and Android, available on Google Play and the App Store, with lessons, progress, community and certificates on the phone; the homepage adds that the area can be watched on a TV screen. Push notifications reach students even when the app is closed, and a creator can send them to everyone or only to students who have stopped logging in. The mobile app is part of the Professional plan and above.
Selling and marketing
From ad to sale. The homepage walks through six steps that stay inside Astron: a click on an ad registers the lead in the members area, a free lesson works as a lead magnet, the community feed builds interest, the offer and checkout sit in the same environment with card, Pix and boleto, an upsell offers the next product, and modules, certificates, community and the app keep the student engaged. The company claims this can cut customer acquisition cost by up to 60%, because one lead produces several sales without new ad spend.
Plans and offers. The multiplan feature lets a creator build offers with different periods (monthly, annual or lifetime), prices and access levels, and decide which courses and communities each plan opens. Registration forms capture student data at signup, and existing students can be imported from a CSV spreadsheet in the users panel.
CRM, tags and pixels. A native CRM tracks each student on a visual pipeline board from the first click to the sale, with the student's actions moving the card automatically. Tags and pixels are managed inside the club, with Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics and Hotjar built in. Notification postbacks send student actions such as account creation, lesson completion or login to an automation of the creator's choice.
Integrations. Astron says it sells through more than 50 native gateways. Its list includes sales platforms such as Hotmart, Eduzz, Kiwify, Braip, Monetizze, Ticto, PerfectPay, Lastlink, Greenn, Hubla, Yampi and Cakto, payment providers Stripe, Mercado Pago, PagSeguro, Asaas and iugu, video services Vimeo and Panda Vídeos, and support tools Intercom, Crisp and Typebot.
Pricing by active member
Astron charges by active members, meaning students who logged into the members area in the last 30 days. Inactive members are not counted, there is no fee per sale, and billing renews monthly. The FAQ says a creator can cancel at any time without extra charges, and the homepage adds there is no fixed contract and no penalty.
- Free plan (Teste Grátis): up to 10 active members, 3 courses, 20 lessons, 5 access plans, 2 administrators, 1 certificate template, 1 quiz and 1 community. After 7 days it costs R$5 a month for account maintenance, the only extra fee the FAQ names.
- Starter: R$147.00 a month while within the plan's limit of 200 active members, shown as R$0.74 per active lead. Unlimited courses, lessons, access plans, certificates and quizzes, 2 administrators, 1 community, 1 custom domain, 1 payment gateway and 2 CRM pipelines.
- Professional: R$297.00 a month for up to 500 active members, shown as R$0.59 per active lead. Adds 5 administrators, 5 communities, 2 custom domains, 3 payment gateways, 5 CRM pipelines, 10 notification postbacks and the mobile app.
- Scale: R$587.00 a month for up to 1,000 active members, shown as R$0.59 per active lead, with 30 administrators, 10 communities, 5 custom domains, 10 payment gateways and 30 CRM pipelines. The company aims it at agencies and marketing teams.
- Enterprise: R$1,197.00 a month for operations past 1,000 active members, with unlimited active members, courses and communities, up to 100 administrators and 10 custom domains.
SMS messages cost R$0.10 each on top of the plan.
Support
Every account gets a dedicated account manager who answers questions on WhatsApp, and creators can also open support tickets by email. The company runs Astron Academy, a set of lessons on growing a digital business, along with a blog and Astron Pages for building landing pages inside the platform.
Who it suits
Astron Members suits a creator selling courses in Brazil who wants the course area, community, app, CRM and checkout under one brand and paid in reais. The active-member pricing works well for a creator whose audience comes and goes, since students who stop logging in stop costing money, and the free plan lets a creator test an idea with 10 active members. Agencies and teams running several products get more administrators, domains and pipelines on Scale and Enterprise.
A creator who needs the mobile app has to budget for Professional at least. And because pricing follows active members, the homepage notes that the bill rises when active members rise, so a launch that brings many logins raises that month's cost.
