What Unica is

Unica is a Vietnamese online course marketplace: experts publish video courses on unica.vn, and learners buy them course by course, with prices in Vietnamese dong. It serves two of this directory's readers at once. For instructors it works more like a managed publishing partner than a self-serve tool, because Unica's own team helps plan, film, market and sell each course. For learners it is a large catalog of practical, Vietnamese-language courses taught by named Vietnamese professionals. The site is in Vietnamese, with English offered in its language menu.

The instructor page calls Unica "Học Viện Online Hàng Đầu Việt Nam" (Vietnam's leading online academy) and says that in more than 10 years it has connected thousands of experts with millions of learners across Vietnam. The same page claims more than 2,000 online courses, more than 1,000 instructors who have worked with Unica, and a community of 60,000 affiliates who promote courses. The homepage description gives a narrower learner figure: more than 500,000 learners and more than 2,000 courses.

Publishing a course with Unica

Unica's pitch to instructors is that they only need to share their knowledge and Unica takes care of the rest. The teacher page splits that support into four parts. The first is building the program: analyzing market demand, drafting a course outline and shaping the content to what learners need. The second is production: professional filming, video editing, slide design and packaging of course materials. The third is marketing and sales: multi-channel advertising, email and affiliate marketing, livestreams and webinars, and a network of sales collaborators. The fourth is learner care: collecting tuition and issuing invoices, managing and supporting learners, running Zoom sessions and workshops, and raising completion rates.

Joining takes four steps, according to the same page. An instructor fills in a form with contact details and a teaching field; Unica's team gets in touch to discuss and appraise the content; both sides agree on a curriculum and start a production plan; then the course is published to the Unica ecosystem and goes on sale. The form asks about training experience, with options running from no teaching experience at all to more than five years.

The page names the instructors it is looking for: specialists in AI, technology, marketing, business, investment, finance and HR; lecturers from universities, colleges, training centers and K12 schools (grades 1 to 12); life, business, career and health coaches; business owners who want to build a personal brand; people with special skills such as languages, design or soft skills; and consultants.

AI is part of the production offer. The teacher page says Unica combines AI with its specialist team to shorten the time it takes to launch a course, and lists what AI can help produce: a training syllabus, lecture slides, ebooks and question banks of multi-level multiple-choice quizzes, landing pages, email marketing sequences, and promotional posts and short video scripts.

Video courses are only one product. The page lists others an expert can sell through Unica: ebooks and printed books, short workshops, a membership program with a monthly recurring fee, one-to-one coaching and consulting, and a learner community. It describes course videos as lectures that stay available to learners indefinitely ("vô thời hạn").

The help center covers the mechanics: creating an instructor profile, signing an electronic contract and setting up automatic payment, Unica's standards for courses and videos, a list of restricted topics, uploading video lessons, creating quizzes inside a course, adding documents, building a course landing page, and viewing orders and payment history. It also has practical guides on setting up a filming space, the equipment needed to record, writing a video script and course outline, and marketing a course.

Earnings, coupons and affiliates

Two revenue figures appear in the instructor guides' titles. One is "Hướng dẫn giảng viên tạo mã Coupon hưởng 100% doanh thu" (how instructors create a coupon code that earns 100% of revenue), and another is "Hướng dẫn lấy link bán và tạo coupon nhận 90% doanh thu" (how to get a sales link and create a coupon to receive 90% of revenue). The share Unica keeps on sales it generates through its own marketing is not stated.

Affiliates are central to how courses sell. The help center explains how to register an affiliate account, the affiliate dashboard and marketplace, setting invite and coupon codes, sharing course links and Zoom class links, short links that track clicks, how commission is paid, who gets credit when several affiliates refer the same customer, and whether commission stands when an order's tuition is refunded. One guide covers creating orders automatically by API from the ladipage platform, and there is a separate section for agents (đại lý).

What learners get

The catalog is organized into Business and Startups, Marketing and Sales, AI and Technology, Design and Creativity, Video and Photography, Foreign Languages, Office Software, Soft Skills, Health and Beauty, Finance and Investment, and Lifestyle, plus a section of recommended books. The subcategories show how practical it is: opening a spa, restaurant, pharmacy or fashion business, selling on Shopee, earning from YouTube and Amazon, Facebook, Zalo and TikTok marketing, Google Ads and SEO, app and web programming, 3DSMax and UI/UX design, Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, German and English with TOEIC and IELTS preparation, Microsoft, Notion, Google, Canva and Figma, leadership and negotiation, yoga, Zumba and meditation, accounting, forex and tax, and music, drawing and cooking.

Courses are sold individually and shown at a sale price next to a higher list price. On the homepage, a best-selling home yoga course is 299,000đ against 700,000đ, a guitar accompaniment course 199,000đ against 650,000đ, and a chess course with international grandmaster Trần Tuấn Minh 699,000đ against 2,000,000đ. A ChatGPT course for people wary of technology is 49,000đ. Bundles go further: a professional Photoshop combo of 4 products shows 29,336 learners at 499,000đ against 3,200,000đ, marked -84%, and a Word, Excel and PowerPoint combo shows 60,157 learners at 499,000đ against 1,600,000đ. Each course card shows the instructor, a star rating and the number of ratings. Unica also sells books, such as a handbook of 36 Excel templates for 68,000đ.

The learner section of the help center covers how the courses work, searching and registering, trial lessons and discount codes, payment, activating a course, managing study time, opening the next lesson automatically, talking with the instructor, video quality and speed controls, and a course completion certificate ("Chứng nhận hoàn thành khóa học"). A membership program, Hội viên Unica, has its own guide to accessing the membership courses.

Live classes, communities and the app

Unica runs free live classes on Zoom. Its livestream page lists a schedule of sessions, each marked "Miễn phí" (free), on topics such as building a one-person business system with Claude AI, AI agents, an AI assistant built with OpenClaw, a YouTube AI channel for affiliate income, AI automation to grow sales, suburban real estate investing, and attracting customers through Facebook and Instagram Reels and Google Business.

Communities live on Unica.expert, reached at unica.vn/community, which describes itself as a learning community platform with built-in affiliate marketing where anyone can join or create a community, free or paid. The communities shown are free to join, from a private membership group run by instructor Richdad Loc to EXPERT CLUB for instructors and experts (192 members), UNICA CLUB (249 members), the private Unica instructor community (84 members) and an AI Business community (72 members).

The Unica Student app, linked from the App Store and Play Store, gives a phone the same functions as the website: browsing and sampling courses, buying them, saving favorites, learning and discussing with instructors, and receiving notifications from Unica.

For businesses

Unica also sells to organizations. Its menus link to a business (Doanh nghiệp) section, e-learning solutions, corporate training, video production and book publishing services, and the top bar names further products in the same family: Affiliate, Market, Seller, LMS, Webinar, Community, Game, Edubit and Salekit. Pricing for these business services is not listed on the main site.

Who it suits

Unica suits a Vietnamese-speaking expert who wants to sell a course without handling filming, marketing and payments alone: a consultant, coach, business owner or teacher who brings the knowledge while Unica's team and its affiliate network handle production and selling. An instructor with an audience of their own can sell through coupon codes and sales links, where the guide titles name 100% and 90% of revenue. For learners, it suits someone who wants affordable, practical courses in Vietnamese on business, marketing, AI tools, office software, languages or hobbies, with free Zoom classes on top.

The caveats follow from the model. The catalog and site are built for Vietnamese speakers, so it suits a Vietnamese audience rather than an international one, and an instructor who wants a fully independent school with their own branding will find Unica is a partner marketplace rather than a self-hosted course platform.
