What Haelsoft Marketplace is
Haelsoft Marketplace is an online marketplace where educators and creators sell courses, digital products, professional services and subscription plans, and where learners browse and buy them. Its pricing page pitches it to "Every Educator & Creator in Africa" and says the plans are built for sellers "across all 54 African countries", while the home page speaks of selling to "eager learners worldwide." The company behind it appears in the site footer as Haelsoft Edtech. There are two readers here: a creator who wants a ready storefront and payment setup without building a site, and a learner looking for practical courses and guides, most of them priced in naira.
What a creator gets
The home page sums up the selling options in four lines: sell any type of digital product, offer professional services, create and sell courses, and launch subscription plans for recurring income. The instructor route is a three-step process: create and upload your course, set your pricing and start earning, then engage with students and build your brand.
The features page lists the tools behind that. Courses and products are built with a drag-and-drop editor, templates and a live preview, "without any technical knowledge required." Digital products come with unlimited uploads and instant delivery. Payments run through multiple gateways and currencies, with fraud protection and instant payouts. To keep buyers engaged there are comments and reviews, community features and notifications. Sales tools cover discount codes, bundle offers and email campaigns, and the analytics section promises sales reports, customer insights and performance tracking.
An affiliate program lets sellers grow sales by "enabling others to promote your products and earn commissions", with commission tracking, an affiliate dashboard and marketing materials. Security is described as SSL encryption, data backup and, in the site's words, "Compliance certified", without naming a standard. The footer links to an integrations page.
Plans, fees and payouts
The pricing page is unusually specific. There are three plans, with a monthly and yearly toggle, and every plan carries a 0% listing fee with unlimited courses and products.
The Starter Plan is free. It charges a "20% Transaction Fee per sale", includes basic analytics, pays out by bank transfer, PayPal, crypto or mobile money, and comes with no custom branding and limited marketing tools. It is aimed at new educators who want to start selling with no upfront cost.
The Growth Plan costs "$99.99 billed monthly" and cuts the fee to "10% Transaction Fee per sale". It adds advanced analytics and sales reports, custom branding with your logo, marketing and promo tools (coupons, discounts and email campaigns), access to the affiliate and referral program, and priority payout processing.
The Premium Plan, marked Recommended, is listed at "$29.99 billed monthly" with a "5% Transaction Fee per sale". It adds a full analytics dashboard covering sales, engagement and student insights, a custom website and domain integration, premium marketing and ads support, same-day withdrawals, and partner promotions with featured listings. The FAQ repeats the same figures, Growth at $99.99 a month and Premium at $29.99 a month, so on the site's own numbers the Recommended plan with the lowest fee is also the cheaper of the two paid plans.
The FAQ fills in the rest. Payouts go out by bank transfer, PayPal, crypto or mobile money; Premium users get same-day withdrawals and the other plans standard processing times. Subscriptions can be paid with major credit cards, PayPal, bank transfers or mobile money "across African countries." Plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time with prorated billing. Going over a plan's limits triggers a notification rather than an automatic suspension, though some features may be limited until you upgrade. Cancelling is done from account settings, access continues to the end of the billing period, and there are no cancellation fees. The free Starter plan doubles as the trial: the FAQ answers the trial question by pointing to it.
What a learner finds
The marketplace page lists 55 results across courses and digital products. Courses are tagged by level, show hours and lesson counts, and are priced individually in naira or listed as free. Examples include AI PRACTICAL MASTERY Level 2, an intermediate course of 14 hours at ₦5,000; Google Ads for Beginners, 10 lessons at ₦30,000; a Cyber Security Specialization of 12 lessons at ₦15,000; Microsoft Excel for Financial Reporting at ₦100,000; and a set of Cambridge-aligned primary English schemes of work for Years 1 to 3 at ₦100,000 each. Free courses include Basic Accounting for Non-Accountants, Accounting Software & Automation, Project Management for beginners, and a Cyber Security fundamentals course.
Several free listings from one instructor are videos labeled as part of the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate, such as Measure Performance Success and Digital Marketing & E-commerce Strategy. Their pages show a beginner level, 5 hours of content, "Flexible payment options available", a short chapter list, and a note that the syllabus and reviews are still to come.
The digital products are mostly PDF guides and toolkits: a social media marketing kit for African small businesses at ₦5,000, a 30-day SAT math workbook at ₦10,000, business books on African entrepreneurship and Nigerian personal finance at ₦10,000, sector strategy packs at ₦7,500 to ₦15,000, and a few titles in French or priced in dollars.
The learner path is also three steps: discover courses, digital products and services in tech, business, health and more; learn at your own pace with "Lifetime Access"; and earn a certificate. The site does not name who issues or recognizes those certificates.
Instructors and community
The home page profiles a roster of featured instructors with long bios: a leadership coach, a doctoral student in management, a digital sales manager, an organizational development trainer, a backend engineer, content and brand strategists, and Haelsoft's own head of branding. One testimonial, from a learner at Bradford University in the UK, describes the "Haelsoft Master Class" as "truly a life-changing experience" and says "the training broke everything down in a clear and practical way."
Who it suits
Haelsoft Marketplace suits African educators, coaches and authors who want to sell courses, ebooks, templates or services without building their own site, and who need payouts by mobile money, bank transfer, PayPal or crypto. The free Starter plan lets a new seller list unlimited products and pay only the 20% fee when something sells, which is a low-risk way to test demand. Once sales are steady, the lower fees on the paid plans, together with same-day withdrawals and a custom domain on Premium, become worth the monthly charge.
Learners will find a mix of free beginner courses and paid professional training, priced mostly in naira, with lifetime access. The catalog is still small and uneven, with many listings showing no reviews yet, so it rewards a buyer who reads each course page closely. Sellers should expect a young marketplace: the course pages show student counts in single digits so far.
