What Vnaya is
Vnaya is a live 1-on-1 online tutoring service for school children from kindergarten to grade 12. A parent books a free demo class, and the child is then taught in real time by an online tutor, one student at a time. The home page says: "Vnaya provides personalized live online tutoring for children worldwide, offering expert guidance in Math, English, Science, Coding, Homework help, online test preparation, and more." The footer names the company as E-Online Tutors Inc. o/a vnaya.com, with an address in Atlanta, GA, and the site lists phone lines for the US and Canada, the UK, Australia and an international number.
The site groups learners into three bands: Elementary School (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12). Its homepage counters read "1000+ Students" and "406123+ Sessions," and the company's blog describes it as "teaching 2500+ topics of many subjects with 400+ experienced tutors."
Countries and curricula
Vnaya teaches families in five countries named on its "Global Reach" panel: the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The footer lists city pages for tutoring in Austin, Chicago, Phoenix, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Jose, Kings County, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Houston, San Diego, Seattle and Washington in the US; Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Ballarat, Geelong and Sydney in Australia; Bristol, Birmingham, London, Southampton and Manchester in the UK; and Vancouver and Montreal in Canada.
The home page highlights New Zealand exam preparation, "Personalized prep for NCEA & key benchmark tests," with learning plans for students "from intermediate to college level." The tests it names are NZQA NCEA Levels 1 to 3, ICAS Assessments and CEM Cognitive Benchmark Exams. The blog menu adds NAPLAN, the Australian national assessment, alongside SAT and IELTS, and the footer has a "US Tests" section under Test Preparation. Several parent reviews come from New Zealand and Australia, including one family who moved from NZ to AU and found "the online classes are relevant to our kids school curriculum/syllabus."
Subjects
The home page describes five main areas:
- English: grammar, reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills, with "Personalized feedback" in live sessions.
- Mathematics: "Number Sense, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and more," with "Real-time doubt clearing."
- Science: physics, chemistry and biology, with "Expert Science Tutors" and "24/6 Support."
- Test Preparation: "targeted strategies, practice exercises, and expert guidance tailored to your exam's format," with practice tests and review.
- Homework Help: "Step-by-step explanations" and "Support across all subjects."
The footer also lists Coding Courses, English Language and Summer Courses, and the blog's menu includes AI and "The Budding Entrepreneurship Program." The company's blog says it also offers "Coding, GRE, SLAT, and IELTS classes."
How it works
The home page asks families to "Submit The Enquiry Form To Begin," then try a free demo class: "Meet our friendly tutors, explore our fun lessons, and see how we make learning easy." The blog describes this as a "one-hour free demo class" or a live chat with an online tutor. Sessions run at flexible times; the home page promises "flexible class times and smart, engaging tools," and the blog lists "24*6 online classes with flexible schedules" and "student-friendly learning tools with a whiteboard feature."
Free extras listed in the footer are "Ask a Free Question," "Free Curriculum Support," "Free Offers," the free demo class and "Free Porter Diagnostics." After sessions, a feedback form asks students how well the tutor explained the topic, on a five-step scale from "Very clearly understood" to "Did not understand."
The blog lists further benefits: "Weekly online assessments with monthly report cards," a "Dedicated academic counselor and Parent counseling leader," and "Guaranteed academic progress for your child." That guarantee is the company's own wording, and it comes with no written conditions.
Tutors
The home page says "Certified online tutors on our team know their subjects and are experienced in connecting with kids." The blog describes the hiring process in more detail: tutors "must go through interviews, subject expert tests, and demo rounds." After selection, the company says it monitors "Content delivery, Lesson Planning, Verbal Proficiency, Student Tutor interaction, Problem handling, Whiteboard usage, and feedback generation," and trains tutors on content delivery, verbal proficiency, use of tools, launching and closing sessions, and product knowledge.
Price
The company's blog post says Vnaya is "so affordable that a one-hour tutoring session starts at $7-8 per day." The home page links to a separate Pricing page and lists cost among its FAQ topics, and the blog's starting rate is the one figure the site states. Lessons are sold for live 1-on-1 time with a tutor rather than as a self-paced course subscription.
What parents say
The home page frames its reviews with the line "Through consistent sessions, many of our students have gained confidence and achieved better grades." It also quotes Dr. Daisaku Ikeda, whom it calls "Our Mentor And Inspiration": "Knowledge Alone Does Not Produce Wisdom. Transforming knowledge Into Wisdom Requires Input From The Heart."
The home page carries many parent reviews by name. Michael Sivakumar of Los Angeles writes that his child "is a junior and has been taking Science, Biology, Computer Science and Math from Vnaya for the past 2+ Yrs." Yogesh says "Both my sons have been with Vnaya for the last 3 years doing online tutoring and still continuing at present." Evana, the mother of a child with special needs, writes: "Its not easy to teach a special child and I really appreciate your patience with Sarrinah." Adrian, a student, thanks Vnaya "for helping me ace my SAT," adding "I loved that I could get somebody to help me out of tricky situation anytime day or night." Mr. and Mrs. Mehrok single out a coordinator named Harry, who "always helped us in all circumstances," and name tutors Shelby and Pearl as ones their children look forward to. Abhishek Sharma writes that his family chose Vnaya after a referral from friends in New Zealand.
Who Vnaya suits
Vnaya suits parents of K-12 children in the US, UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand who want a steady 1-on-1 online tutor for math, English or science, regular homework help, or preparation for exams such as NCEA, ICAS, NAPLAN, the SAT or IELTS. The free demo class lets a family see a session before paying, and several reviewing parents say they have stayed for years with more than one child.
It is a K-12 service, so adults looking for professional courses or university tutoring are outside its focus. Families who want in-person lessons or a detailed public price list before the demo will not find either on the home page.
