Tutor Teach (the site writes both Tutor Teach and TutorTeach) is a Canadian tutoring company offering one-to-one tutoring in all K-12 subjects, live small-group exam prep workshops for high school students, and a few shorter programs for study skills. Its company profile lists who it serves as adult students and children and adolescents from kindergarten to grade 12, and its area of expertise as one-to-one academic mentorship (tutoring), all subjects K-12, select university subjects, music lessons and on-demand courses. Sessions are held in person, Canada-wide pending availability, and online worldwide. The home page title advertises private 1:1 tutoring "Starting at $25", and the company is aimed squarely at parents: its signature is the "A+ Student Roadmap", which it calls "a unique education support framework that helps moms, dads, and students collaborate to improve grade level up to 40%."
One-to-one tutoring
The core service is curriculum-based, one-on-one tutoring for students K-12 in all subjects. Tutor Teach matches each student with a tutor through what it calls its proprietary "Mindful Match Precision Pairing approach designed specifically to account for personality, learning psychology and comprehension skill." Reviews describe the process from the parent's side: one says the team took the time to understand how her daughter learns before matching her with a teacher experienced with neurodivergent students; another describes a tutor who works with learning needs "in a very personalized way."
Lessons can happen at the student's home, at a public place, or online. The home page says families can schedule 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and lists hours of operation as Monday to Sunday, 6am to 11pm MST, depending on the family's scheduling preference. Billing is as needed: "you just pay when you need us - we don't do contracts. Ever." The home page describes packages as flexible enough to be used for any subject and any child in the household.
The company says it has 200+ (and counting) certified, background-checked educators, that its instructors complete 1,500 average tutoring hours every week, and that they host about 6000 hours of tutoring every month. It also says it works "in any language", and its mission statement talks about tapping into each student's learning style to find their "Eureka Moment." A free guide promises "the 9 cornerstones we use to consistently improve student grades before their next report card."
Live exam prep workshops
The most detailed product is Mastermind Exam Prep, live instructor-led workshops for grades 10, 11 and 12. The pitch is to master course competency and key exam concepts "in Just 8 Hours": each course is split into 2 back-to-back sessions of 4 hours each, run for a small student "mastermind" group. Students work through companion workbooks, have direct access to what the page calls "a seasoned accredited instructor" until the exam, and can rewatch the workshop replay. Each workshop has its own pre-scheduled dates in the MST time zone, and every registrant gets the replay and workbooks even if they cannot attend live.
Each course is priced at $199.99 CAD for the live workshop (including replay and workbook), or $169.99 CAD on demand for the replay and workbook alone. The page also offers full school year access to the high school exam prep courses and workbooks for $199.
The course pages list what each workshop covers. Math 10C covers trigonometry, roots and powers, factors and products, relations and linear functions, systems of linear equations, and measurement. Science 10 covers energy and matter in chemical change, energy flow in technological and global systems, and cycling of matter in living systems. English 10-1 covers reading and writing, visual literacy and media, essays, poetry, short stories and novel study, and Shakespeare or a modern play. Social 10-1 is built around nationalism and national identity. At grade 12, Science 30 covers thermochemical and electrochemical changes, organic chemistry, acids, bases and equilibrium. A parent's review praises the Chemistry 20 course, saying the workbook sent ahead was instrumental and her son enjoyed the instructor's immediate feedback.
Other programs
For grade 9, Tutor Teach runs Provincial Achievement Test (PAT) prep: live PAT subject review workshops with curriculum-based practice questions, which the company says help students "Add 10% on Average to P.A.T. Scores." For junior high students, the Learning Fundamentals Academic Accelerator promises results "in Just 3 Days" for students who want to retain more and get better grades. The menu also lists academic coaching, educational consulting, and the Student Advantage Collective, a membership pitched as "One Skill. Every Month." that invites families to join as founding members.
Reviews
The home page counts "214 (...and counting) Glowing reviews", adding: "Since 2019 some of our successful students have been kind enough to boast about their experience with us." A review widget shows an "EXCELLENT" rating based on 92 reviews on Google and Meta, with each review marked as verified by Trustindex as coming from Google. Parents write about a grade 10 daughter who learned to do math assignments on her own, a son whose math teacher noticed his progress after 4 months with his tutor, and a grade 10 son whose tutor sent detailed recap notes after each session and made practice tests. One student says her grades in math and English improved after trying several tutors and settling on one. A grade 12 parent credits weekly sessions with keeping his son ahead under the new quarter system.
Who it suits
Tutor Teach suits Canadian parents who want a company to choose the tutor, value a match built around learning style, and want the choice of in-home, public-place or online lessons without a contract. Families with more than one child can share a package across children and subjects. High school students facing finals get an affordable structured option in the Mastermind workshops, with a replay and workbook as a safety net if they miss the live sessions, and grade 9 students get PAT preparation. Students elsewhere can still use the online tutoring, which the company offers worldwide.
The exam workshops follow specific course codes (Math 10C, English 10-1, Science 30), so they fit students in those courses and are less relevant to students on other curricula. A learner who wants to browse and pick a tutor from open profiles may also prefer a marketplace, since here the company makes the match.
