What Kiya Learning is

Kiya Learning is an online tutoring service for children and teenagers, taught one-to-one by its own mentors. The homepage title is "Online Classes for Kids & Teens," and the About section describes a one-to-one online private tutoring platform: "We provide classes for all the subjects, from pre-primary to higher secondary level students." Next to school subjects it teaches languages and a long list of extracurricular activities, from yoga and abacus to chess, singing and instruments.

The site runs country versions selectable from the header (Australia, Germany, the USA, Canada, Singapore, the UK and the UAE), and the footer lists two addresses, one on Circular Road in Singapore and one at the Etihad Airways Centre in Abu Dhabi, with phone numbers for India, Singapore and the UAE. The UAE page says the company is "successfully established in countries like USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, India, Singapore etc and now in UAE," and serves "all the children of all the age groups I.e. from kg to class 12."

What a family actually gets

Lessons are live and one-to-one. The homepage says teachers make students "participate in one-to-one online lessons," and lists "One-on-One Interaction" for doubt clearing among its reasons to choose Kiya. Families start by booking a free trial, or a free demo, through a short form asking for the student's name, email, phone number, grade and country, and the site has a chat window for questions. The UAE page lists flexible timings among its selling points, and the Gujarati page notes that classes are scheduled around the learner's availability.

The homepage's "Why Kiya Learning?" list adds free study material for exam preparation from the tutors and "24*7 Mentoring Services." On pricing it says only that it offers "quality education and expert tutoring at Budget-Friendly pricing"; the site publishes no lesson rates.

School subjects and curricula

The academic side covers mathematics, taught "through Fun Activities and Multimedia Content"; science, with physics and chemistry guided by industry-experienced mentors; English "as per Singapore Curriculum" with work on reading, writing and speaking; coding; social science (history, geography, civics and economics); accountancy (accounting, account management and audit); economics (microeconomics, macroeconomics and international trade); business studies; and Hindi. For kindergarten, the homepage promises learning through entertainment and games, with English, maths and early science.

The curriculum menu is broad: the Australian, Canadian, US and IB curricula, the Indian CBSE, ICSE and ISC boards, GCSE and GCE A levels, IGCSE and A levels, and computer and IT courses. A boards menu also lists Singapore's MOE.

The UAE page goes deepest. It lists IGCSE, O Levels, A Levels, the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE (9-1) and International AS/A Levels (IAL), plus tuition for Indian boards (CBSE, ICSE, state boards), British boards, AQA, IB and the American curriculum. For each it names the subjects offered and the pass rule. For IGCSE, for example, a learner can choose any 5 from English as a first or foreign language, maths, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, accounts, business, economics and travel and tourism, and "a student must pass in five subjects to be certified." A Levels are described as a 2-year course (1 year for AS), with any 3 subjects. These are exam board qualifications the student sits; Kiya prepares for them.

The UAE page also describes Kiya's own grade programs. The Pre-Primary Program is for ages 3 to 6 (Nursery, KG1/LKG, KG2/UKG) with an activity-based plan and values woven in through stories. The Primary Program covers ages 6 to 11 (Grades 1 to 5), with English as first language, a second and optional third language, mathematics, EVS or science, digital media and arts, music, physical fitness and mindfulness, a summer school program and computational thinking and coding. Middle School covers Grades 6 to 8, with a syllabus the page says follows India's National Curriculum Framework: English, a second and third language, mathematics, social studies, science and computational thinking and coding, plus group activities such as debates, story writing competitions and research-based assignments. For Grades 9 to 12, the page says Kiya offers a Senior School Programme under the Indian curriculum through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), which it describes as an autonomous institution under India's Ministry of Education, with exams twice a year.

Test preparation

The test-prep menu covers SAT/ACT, AP, PSAT, NAPLAN, NEET and Olympiads, and the blog runs posts on the Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE subjects and maths Olympiads.

Languages

Foreign languages are French, German, Spanish, Chinese, English and Hindi, and the menu adds Arabic. The German course is pitched at "Academic, Career or Professional Growth," French at reading, writing and speaking for daily interaction, and the Chinese course is described as aimed at Singapore students, with a personalized student-centric planner. Regional Indian languages include Tamil, Urdu, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati and Punjabi, each with a short course description on the homepage, such as Urdu classes focused on "Reading, Writing, Speaking, Grammar& Pronunciation Skills."

Activities

The activity list is long and child-focused: abacus and Vedic maths for fast calculation and problem solving; chess "with FIDE-Certified Coaches" including tournament preparation; art and craft with drawing and origami; public speaking and personality development; dance, from Bollywood to the classical Bharatanatyam; singing in Western and classical styles; yoga with certified instructors; Zumba; piano and guitar; storytelling and rhyming; and phonics. The UAE page adds robotics classes and skill development in logical reasoning and critical thinking.

Teachers

The homepage spends a section on teachers, describing them as experienced and professional, encouraging, friendly and patient, and says they bring practical examples and study materials so children connect theory with real life. Teachers can apply through a "Teacher Apply" page. The UAE page describes the company as a group of experienced professionals.

Who it suits and who it does not

Kiya Learning suits parents who want a single provider for a child's school support and extracurriculars, taught one-to-one online at flexible times. It is particularly well matched to families following Indian boards (CBSE, ICSE, NIOS) or British and Cambridge qualifications, including families living abroad who want Hindi or a regional Indian language alongside school subjects. The free trial or demo lets a family test a mentor before committing.

It is less suited to adult learners, since the site is built around kindergarten to grade 12. Parents who want to compare prices before contacting the company will find no published rates, and families who want group classes or a self-paced course will not find either described here.
