What Innovedoo is
Innovedoo is a Greek-language online tutoring service for private lessons. Rather than a directory where families browse and contact teachers themselves, it runs a managed model: a personal educational consultant sets goals with the family, Innovedoo picks the teacher, and lessons take place one-to-one in a virtual classroom. The homepage says it offers "εξατομικευμένη διδασκαλία 1:1 σε 30+ μαθήματα για όλες τις ηλικίες και τα επίπεδα εκπαίδευσης" (personalized one-to-one teaching in 30+ subjects for all ages and levels of education). The page title frames the range as lower secondary school, upper secondary school and university, and the homepage describes the service as the No. 1 platform for private lessons, in its own words "Η Νο 1 πλατφόρμα για ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα."
The FAQ answers the question of what Innovedoo is with a mission statement: "Η Innovedoo είναι το μέλλον της διδασκαλίας. Στόχος μας είναι να βοηθήσουμε τους μαθητές να αξιοποιήσουν τις δυνατότητές τους στο έπακρο και να αντικαταστήσουμε τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο διδασκαλίας με την καινοτόμα διαδικτυακή διδασκαλία." (Innovedoo is the future of teaching. Our goal is to help students make the most of their potential and to replace the traditional way of teaching with innovative online teaching.) It says the platform is aimed at school pupils and university students of all ages who either need educational support or want to make the most of their abilities.
How it works for a family
The homepage sets out three steps. First, the family meets a consultant: "Κάθε μαθησιακό ταξίδι ξεκινάει θέτοντας στόχους με τον προσωπικό σας Εκπαιδευτικό Σύμβουλο, ώστε να μπορούμε να ταιριάξουμε το παιδί σας με τον κατάλληλο καθηγητή." (Every learning path starts by setting goals with your personal Educational Consultant, so that we can match your child with the right teacher.) Second, the student takes a trial lesson. The homepage button reads "Κλείσε δωρεάν δοκιμαστικό μάθημα" (book a trial lesson at no cost), and the step says the family is invited to a trial lesson with one of Innovedoo's top teachers so that both parent and child can see how the service works, "χωρίς υποχρεώσεις" (without obligation). Third, the consultant puts together a customized lesson package designed around the child's long-term educational needs.
Matching is the service's central promise. The homepage says it pairs each student with the right teacher based on personality fit and the student's own learning goals, so that lessons are inspiring, fun and memorable.
The trial booking form shows how granular the intake is. It runs in 6 steps. The student picks a level (primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, vocational upper secondary, university, foreign languages or other), then a grade or, for university, a year of study from 1st to 6th, or a language level from A1 to C2. Next comes the purpose of the lessons, then the subject, then a preferred day and a 2-hour time window between 06:00 and 22:00, and finally contact details. The form states that the trial lesson lasts 50 minutes and is scheduled at the time the family prefers.
Subjects covered
The subject lists are tied to the Greek school curriculum. For primary school the form offers general school study, mathematics and Greek language. For each year of lower secondary school it lists mathematics, physics, biology, modern Greek language and ancient Greek, adding chemistry from the second year. Upper secondary subjects include algebra, geometry, physics, chemistry, biology, modern Greek and ancient Greek in the first year, and then the specialized tracks: science (mathematics, physics, chemistry), humanities (Latin, history, ancient Greek), economics (principles of economic theory, mathematics and application development in a programming environment) and health sciences (chemistry, physics, biology), each with modern Greek language and literature. The vocational school track adds an introduction to the principles of computer science.
Foreign languages in the form are English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Chinese and Japanese. The site menu also lists history, accounting, geography, computer science and Latin among its subject pages, the homepage subject block adds typing, and there is a separate seminars section. The FAQ says lessons cover all school subjects, foreign languages and university subjects, and asks families who cannot find their subject to get in touch.
The lesson itself
Lessons are online and one-to-one. The FAQ explains that private online lessons work the same way as traditional teaching, with the only difference that student and teacher are in a virtual classroom, where "Και οι δύο βλέπουν και ακούν ο ένας τον άλλο σε πραγματικό χρόνο χρησιμοποιώντας ενσωματωμένες λειτουργίες" (both see and hear each other in real time using built-in features). The homepage adds that Innovedoo uses tools designed for remote learning and provides a safe and reliable space for real-time sessions. A lesson lasts 50 minutes: "Το μάθημα διαρκεί 50 λεπτά."
Teachers
The FAQ describes Innovedoo's teachers as specialized educators who are experts in the subjects they teach, and says that before working with them, teachers go through interviews and tests that check their knowledge, experience and teaching ability. To teach private lessons on the platform, a teacher must be over 18, have professional experience and university-level knowledge of the subject. Teachers work as freelancers paid by the hour: "Εργάζεστε ως ελεύθερος επαγγελματίας με ωρομίσθιο. Επομένως, δεν δεσμεύεστε από κανένα συμβόλαιο." (You work as a freelancer on an hourly rate, so you are not bound by any contract.) The FAQ reminds them that earnings above the threshold must be reported to the tax office and to their insurer. The homepage invites teachers to learn how Innovedoo selects them, what qualifications are needed and how much they can earn, and to apply through a form.
Prices
The site menu and the parents' section both link a prices page, but the homepage and the FAQ themselves show no lesson rates. Lesson packages are put together by the consultant after the trial, so a family learns the cost in that conversation.
Who it suits and who it does not
Innovedoo suits Greek-speaking parents of school pupils who would rather have someone else choose the tutor. The consultant step, the matching on personality and goals, and the lesson package built after a trial lesson take the search work off the family. The curriculum-specific subject lists make it a practical fit for lower and upper secondary students working on Greek school subjects, including the specialized upper secondary tracks, and for university students who need help in a particular year. The trial lesson lets a family test the fit before committing to a package.
It suits less well a learner who wants to compare many tutors' profiles, reviews and hourly rates side by side and pick one directly, since Innovedoo does the matching. The whole site, booking form and subject lists are in Greek, so it is built for Greek speakers. Families who want in-person lessons or group classes will not find them described here, and anyone who needs a published price before the first contact will have to go through the consultant first.
