Hopper

Tap a star to rate

Hopper is a mobile-first all-in-one platform for coaches who sell courses, run a paid community and work with clients directly. Its homepage frames the range as "One to one, small cohorts, or a community of hundreds", and the idea is that a coach's products, content and community sit behind a single link that an audience taps from an Instagram profile, with a native app for members. The company behind it is Hopper Pte. Ltd. Hopper is admitting coaches through a waitlist: the site says coaches on the founding list are onboarded personally when their spot opens and keep their founding price for life.

Storefront and shop

The storefront is one page carrying your brand, your shop and your content, and the pricing table says no website is needed. It can sell courses, podcasts, digital products, services and physical products, and it runs on your own custom domain with full branding control. Payments are Stripe-powered, and the number of products in the shop is unlimited on both plans.

The shop is designed around upselling. Members who bought an entry-level product can see your premium content, "just enough to feel the pull, not enough to feel excluded," in the homepage's words. Pricing options are broad for a coaching tool: subscriptions billed weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, one-time payments, free trials, promo codes, and one-time lifetime deals with loyalty credits that let members pay less over time. Loyalty pricing rewards members who stay, and any product can be split into tiers that give different levels of access.

Courses and the content library

The content library holds text, video, photo, file and audio material, which Hopper describes as podcast episodes, video trainings, written frameworks, audio meditations, PDFs and lessons, or a combination. Content can be hosted and edited in the platform, streamed live or offered on demand, and pitched as bite-sized material or as in-depth teaching. Courses use structured, step-by-step learning, so a coach can run a sequenced program next to a looser library of resources. Members find everything in one place under the coach's branding instead of across separate links.

Community

Each coach gets a community hub with discussion feeds and community posts, sub groups and channels, and the coach's brand throughout. Base already includes unlimited members, moderators and hubs, so a coach can run several spaces without paying per seat. The homepage argues that connections between members are what keep them subscribed, and the hub is built to give members a place to share wins, ask questions and get to know each other.

Several community features are still marked as coming soon on the pricing table: live streams and live rooms for up to 50 attendees on Base and up to 250 on Pro, events for scheduling coaching calls, workshops and group sessions, gamification with points, badges and leaderboards, and direct messaging between members. Session booking, where members book a time slot after purchase and the coach sets the availability, is listed as coming soon to Pro.

Coaching tools

Async sessions are the Pro plan's main coaching feature. Members buy async access straight from your shop, then send a question as text, an image or a video. You reply when it suits you, with text, image, video, audio or a file, and Hopper tracks the conversations and reminds you which threads still need a reply. The pitch is to coach more people without filling the calendar with live calls.

For high-ticket clients there is the Private Client Space, a secure hub that holds session recordings, private video training and the coach's own frameworks in one branded place. Hopper presents it as the alternative to sending a premium client a shared-drive link, and as what justifies premium pricing. "Clients aren't just buying your time; they're investing in your system," the homepage says.

The member app

A native iOS and Android app is included on every Hopper plan. The homepage says it is crafted in-house and is "Never an add-on or higher-tier upsell", so a coach on Base gets the same app as one on Pro. For a mobile-first audience this matters: members open the community, the courses and the shop from their phone rather than from a browser tab.

Plans and pricing

Hopper sells two plans, priced in US dollars, with a yearly billing option that saves up to 20%. Base can be tried free for 18 days with no credit card.

  • Hopper Base, The Solopreneur. USD 58 a month, a 1% commission on sales and 200 GB of storage. It includes unlimited members, moderators and hubs, discussions, courses, the content library, the storefront, the iOS and Android app, promo codes, unlimited products, flexible subscriptions, one-time payments and free trials, loyalty pricing, Stripe payments, a custom domain and full branding control.
  • Hopper Pro, The Scaling Creator. USD 108 a month, 0% commission and 1 TB of storage. It adds async sessions, migration of your existing paying subscribers to Hopper, which the page says Hopper handles with "Zero churn on your end", and priority support from "A real person, fast."

The pricing section promises no hidden fees and no surprise lock-ins, and the homepage repeats "No product limits. No member caps. No upgrade tax when you grow." Hopper's blog adds that on Hopper the coach manages EU VAT on sales, rather than the platform acting as merchant of record.

What a switch can look like

The homepage's case study is Daniel Lim, described as a life and business coach with 10 years in practice and $1.7M in revenue across his practice. According to Hopper, he had been paying about $510 a month across six tools, plus someone paid to keep the webhooks between them alive, and moved everything to Hopper Base at $58 a month. The page puts the saving at $6,000 a year and 89% less spend: "Same coach. Same members. Same content. One bill instead of six."

Who it suits

Hopper suits a coach whose audience finds them on social media and who wants to sell a mix of courses, memberships, digital products and coaching from one link, with members using a proper phone app. The flat price with unlimited members and products favors a coach whose community is growing, and Pro's 0% commission and async sessions favor one who already has paying clients and steady sales. Coaches doing premium one-to-one work get the Private Client Space and async coaching, which go beyond what a course host alone offers.

The main caveat is maturity. Hopper is taking new coaches through a waitlist, and live streams, events, direct messaging, gamification and session booking are still marked as coming soon, so a coach who depends on live group calls inside the platform today should see what has shipped by the time their spot opens.
