CustomerHub

Tap a star to rate

CustomerHub is a hosted portal where coaches, program creators and community builders deliver what a customer bought: onboarding steps, courses, memberships, downloads, updates and a members' community. The homepage title calls it an "All-in-One Client Portal for Onboarding & Engagement," and its closing line sums up the angle: "One Hub For Everything After the Sale." CustomerHub is built around the period after purchase: getting a new client started, keeping them working through the material and keeping them subscribed. The homepage reports 10K portals created, 10M customers served and $100M revenue generated by customers on the platform.

Three stages: onboard, educate, engage

The homepage organizes the product into three stages, and its three plans carry the same names.

Onboard is about a client's first days. Onboarding flows guide new clients step by step, with tasks and milestones, due dates and responsibilities, and automatic progress tracking that can trigger automations. Files, tasks and updates are shared in the same place.

Educate covers content. A product library gives customers one branded space for all their digital products, downloads and resources, built from prebuilt templates, organized by category or collection, and with visibility set per customer or team. Online courses take videos, PDFs, audio and text lessons, track student progress automatically and work on desktop and mobile. A recent update banner on the homepage says the platform is now fully mobile.

Engage is the community layer: community spaces, member profiles, a user directory, user posts and messaging, achievements and a leaderboard, and a private feed.

Courses and learning paths

CustomerHub's blog post on e-learning platforms describes how a course works on it. Creators build guided paths with clear prerequisites, so students cannot skip ahead past foundational modules, and students see which modules they have completed, what comes next and where they left off. After someone purchases, access is granted instantly. Students can comment under lessons, view member directories and see updates through the internal feed, which the post presents as support for blended programs where part of the content is live and the rest self-paced. Course creation is drag-and-drop, according to the company's community-platforms post, with secure hosting for videos, PDFs and other resources.

The company pitches this to coaches, consultants and educators. Its case studies include a children's music company, a coaching business, a mastermind group, a holistic counseling school, a solo musician and coach, and a bed and breakfast coach, and one testimonial says a marketing agency uses CustomerHub to onboard new employees.

Memberships, payments and the private feed

Memberships can be tiered or give access to exclusive content, and a membership can bundle courses, products and feeds into one experience. Payments run through a built-in Stripe integration that accepts cards, ACH and Apple Pay, lets customers manage their own billing and subscriptions, and automates renewals, invoices and receipts.

The private feed is CustomerHub's main communication channel. Admins share updates, videos and announcements, target posts to a customer or member group, and pin important content. The community-platforms post adds that the feed lets you respond to questions in real time and include actionable links to drive conversions.

According to the same post, CustomerHub includes unlimited courses, products and members, so a growing audience or curriculum does not push you into a higher tier.

Reporting and automation

Reporting covers logins, lesson completions and retention trends, shows where users drop off in content, and can trigger automations based on what users do. The community-platforms post describes filtering activity by product or user type and monitoring course completion rates. When someone buys a membership or signs up for a course, the post says, their details are added to your CRM automatically.

Integrations

The homepage integrations section lists ActiveCampaign, Stripe, HighLevel, Keap, Zapier, MailChimp and Zoom, with YouTube and Vimeo marked as coming soon. Plans include app connectors, API access and custom domains. The community-platforms post claims compatibility with over 7,000 apps, including Stripe, Zapier and email marketing systems.

Pricing and trial

The homepage lists three plans, each with a monthly or annual price; annual billing saves 17%:

  • Onboard, $40 a month billed annually or $49 month to month
  • Educate, $65 a month billed annually or $79 month to month
  • Engage, $107 a month billed annually or $129 month to month

Every plan includes a 30-day free trial, and the homepage promises you can launch in minutes and cancel anytime. The feature list printed under each plan is the same: user journeys, online courses and memberships, a program library, the private feed, a user directory, community spaces, user posts and messaging, achievements and leaderboard, the Filebox, reporting, app connectors, API access and custom domains.

Setup and resources

The homepage pitches setup as a do-it-yourself job: pre-built templates, payment integration and drag-and-drop design, with no coding or complex setup required, so a creator can set up an online membership in minutes. For new users the site offers free resources, including an e-book called The Six Laws of Customer Onboarding, a guide to launching a first digital product in a day, and templates and checklists.

Support and services

The homepage describes fast and friendly support from a member of the team by chat, email and onboarding consultation, an online help center with step-by-step instructions, and a directory of Certified Partners for consulting, implementation and marketing services. The company's blog posts add unlimited chat support and optional Done-for-You services, in which CustomerHub's team handles setup, including transferring courses and resources and setting up integrations and workflows when you move from another platform.

What customers say

The homepage carries named testimonials. Alejandra Costello writes that the platform has scaled with her business to support over 300,000 of its members. Sherman Ragland says it allowed his business "to grow and retain over 300 paying members in just twelve months," and Ellen McDowell says her team "were able to get 5 courses redesigned and online in less than a month."

Who it suits

CustomerHub suits coaches, consultants and program creators who sell high-touch programs and care most about what happens after the sale: a structured onboarding, a tidy library of courses and resources, steady updates in a private feed, and a members' space that keeps clients engaged. The flat monthly plans and unlimited members make costs easy to predict as a client base grows. The trade-off is focus: CustomerHub is built around the client portal rather than the storefront, so creators who mainly need marketing and sales pages will lean on the tools it connects to, such as HighLevel, Keap or ActiveCampaign.
