Super Tutor
Tap a star to rate
Super Tutor is an Indian self-study app for school students and entrance-exam candidates, built around an AI tutor rather than live classes. The home page describes it as "India's AI-powered self-study app for Class 1–12, covering CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, JEE, NEET and 60+ entrance exams," and counts "25+ boards & 60+ entrance exams" in one app with one login. It says "5 lakh+ students use Super Tutor."
The company states its purpose in a short mission line: "Not every family can afford private tutoring," so it built Super Tutor to put one-on-one learning support, powered by AI, on the device a household already owns. On its comparison page it puts the model even more plainly: AI is the primary teacher, and human support is the backup. Students use it on Android, iOS or any web browser, and progress syncs between devices.
How a student uses it
A student starts by picking a board, class and subjects, and the home page says the AI tutor sets up in under a minute. The other three of its four steps follow: study chapter by chapter with notes, summaries and concept breakdowns; practice with quizzes that adapt to the student's level, previous-year questions (PYQs) and full mock tests; and check the dashboard, which highlights progress, weak topics and what to study next.
The company groups the features under three jobs: learn it, practice it, track it.
Learn. Explanations are matched to the student's class, board and pace, and the personalized learning feature, available 24x7, adjusts to the student's speed, strengths and weak spots. Full Syllabus Coverage promises every chapter and topic aligned to the board and class. Smart Revision Notes are "AI-generated summaries and study slides you can revise in minutes."
Doubt solving. Part of the learn pillar, and the feature the site leads with: "Doubts cleared in seconds. Even at 11 PM. Even on Sundays." The FAQ explains how it works: the student types the doubt as they would text a friend, and the AI "breaks it down in a clear, step-by-step way." It adds that the tutor works out where the student is stuck and explains at their level, reasoning through the problem rather than repeating a textbook definition.
Practice. Adaptive Quizzes and Flashcards get harder as the student improves. NTA-Level Mock Tests are full-length tests that mirror the real exam's pattern, timing and difficulty. Live All India Mock Tests let JEE and NEET aspirants sit the same paper live with other candidates and get an All India Rank before exam day. Previous-year questions come with step-by-step explanations "where we have them."
Track. Performance Analytics shows where a student stands subject by subject and chapter by chapter, and Weak Area Analysis flags the gaps for revision before the exam. Inside the app, a chapter opens into a full chapter view, chapter summary, key concepts, revision notes, flash cards, study slides, exam tips, a practice quiz, mock tests, question banks, PYQs, syllabus tracking, a performance report and daily progress.
School boards covered
The FAQ lists CBSE for Class 1 to 12, ICSE and ISC for Class 9 to 12, and state boards including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala, UP, Rajasthan, MP and Uttarakhand. A "Newly Launched" section adds 12 new state boards, among them Bihar, J&K, Himachal, Jharkhand and Assam, for Classes 9 to 12, and NCERT Solutions for Classes 1 to 12 with step-by-step answers chapter by chapter. School plans cover every subject for the student's class.
Entrance exams and test prep
Entrance-exam preparation is sold separately from school plans and is the other half of the product. The home page sorts its 60+ exams into six groups: engineering (13 exams, including JEE Main, JEE Advanced and BITSAT), medical (5, including NEET, AIIMS Paramedical and JENPAS UG), state CETs (16, including MHT-CET, KCET and WBJEE), university and defense (6, including CUET UG, NDA and NATA), management (11, including NMAT, SNAP and MAT), and postgraduate (13, including NEET PG, INI CET and FMGE, with GATE and CUET PG named in the group title). The FAQ adds GUJCET, TG EAPCET, AP EAPCET, COMEDK UGET, KEAM and VITEEE.
For these candidates the practice tools carry most of the weight: NTA-level mocks, PYQs with worked answers, and the live All India mocks with a rank. A 2027 Test Series is also sold as a one-time purchase.
Plans and prices
The pricing summary on the home page reads "Free to start. Cancel any time." Every new account gets a free trial with no card needed: 7 days on a school course and 5 days on an entrance-exam course. After the trial, the FAQ says, there is "a free plan with daily limits." Paid plans are:
- School boards, Plus: from ₹199 a month with UPI AutoPay, or ₹249 a month if you pay once, or one Academic Year pass valid till 31 March 2027.
- Entrance exams, Rank: from ₹349 a month with UPI AutoPay, or ₹499 a month if you pay once.
- 2027 Test Series: ₹1,199 one-time, valid till the student's exam.
The page also names a Topper plan and notes that "Rank, Topper and the Test Series include live All India mock tests." The comparison page lists monthly billing with no lock-in, and suggests upgrading only once a family has seen the app work for their child. The home page promises "No surprise charges, no upsell traps."
Support, parents and institutions
Support is by WhatsApp: the home page says students can message the team anytime and will "hear back from a real person." The site adds that student data is used to run the account and the studies, with the privacy policy spelling out how. There is a parent hub with downloads, a savings calculator and pages for CBSE and ICSE parents, a section for institutions (schools and coaching centers can book a demo), and affiliate and referral programs. The blog publishes exam guides, such as a NEET study guide, a Class 12 CBSE chemistry cheat sheet and a 5-day revision plan for the Class 10 CBSE board exam.
Who it suits
Super Tutor suits a self-driven student who wants help on their own schedule: a Class 10 student revising for boards in the evening, a Class 12 student working through JEE or NEET mocks, or a candidate for CUET, a state CET or a management entrance test who wants a low-cost, structured question bank with ranked mock tests. Parents get a low monthly price, monthly billing and a free plan to fall back on. Students on a state board outside the listed ones should check coverage first, since the newest boards start at Class 9. The company itself says live classes still have value for a child who genuinely needs a teacher's energy in the room to focus, and Super Tutor is built for the opposite case: AI explanations and practice, available whenever the student is ready.
