What it is

Bambinos.live is a live online learning service for children aged 4 to 15, run by Bambinos Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. It is a learner product for parents: a family books a free demo class, and the child then joins live lessons with a teacher, either one-on-one or in a small group of up to six. The company calls itself "The Learning Experiences Company" and sets itself apart from the category it sits in with the line "Not just online classes for kids. Not just courses. Not another online tutoring platform."

The home page says the company has "6+ years of expertise" and puts its scale in several figures: 50,000+ learners, parents in 30+ countries, 10,000+ families learning, 100M+ minutes live, and, in the FAQ, 1.1M+ classes conducted. It also says it was funded on Shark Tank India and is "Backed by India's top investors", and the FAQ describes it as built by IIT and IIM alumni.

The teaching approach

The pitch starts from curiosity. The home page argues that children are born asking questions and that school, "somewhere between the worksheets, the rote answers, and the red marks", trains it out of them. Bambinos.live presents its classes as the place to bring that curiosity back, with three rules printed side by side: "Live, not recorded", "Ask before tell", and "1:1 or 1:6 only".

Every class follows the same four-step arc, which the company applies across English, math, science and its values course:

  • Spark opens with engaging ideas, real-world connections and interactive activities.
  • Stretch builds the concept through live, guided teaching in which every learner participates.
  • Solve applies it through challenges meant to develop problem solving, creativity and critical thinking.
  • Share closes with the child expressing ideas through communication, presentations and feedback.

The site sums this up as "Most platforms teach at children. Bambinos.live teaches with them." It also names five skills it builds in sequence through grades 1 to 8 (curiosity, creativity, communication, critical thinking and confidence) and eight traits it says it tracks for each child, such as speaking up first, catching their own mistakes and staying with a hard problem. The company blog adds that its lessons use doodle-based learning, with visual and interactive activities. A comparison table on the home page sums up the intended difference from what it calls traditional edtech: experiential lessons instead of long lectures, curiosity-driven learning instead of memorized answers, small interactive classes with a maximum of six instead of passive learning.

The courses

The site lists seven programs, six of them open now:

  • Unbox English builds communication through phonics, reading and storytelling, and is marked "Most Popular" with a 4.9 rating from 5K reviews.
  • Alpha Math teaches critical thinking through stories, games and real-life applications.
  • Unbox Science is newly launched and centered on experiments and discovery.
  • Little Yogi is a life skills course built on Bhagavad Gita teachings and ancient wisdom, aimed at character, resilience and values.
  • Unbox Chess is for ages 7–14 and runs from the first move to tournament play.
  • Unbox Kannada is also new: story-driven Kannada classes for grades 1–8, CBSE-aligned, taught live in small groups by teachers from Karnataka.
  • AI & Technology is listed as coming soon, with a waitlist open for a course that helps children "understand, question, and create with technology."

The flagship English course gets the most detail. A company blog post describes Unbox English as built around storytelling, roleplay, games and interactive projects, with real-time classes in which children meet peers from other countries and practice speaking in different situations. A course table on the company blog gives the age bands: 4-15 for Unbox English, 5-14 for Alpha Math, 6-14 for Unbox Science, 5-13 for Little Yogi and 7-14 for Unbox Chess. The menu also has an Olympiad section.

Teachers

The teacher promise is specific: "Only India's top 1% of educator applicants. Minimum bachelor's degree, 3-stage vetting before ever meeting your child." The page adds 2+ years of teaching experience and says its teachers are 100% degree-qualified. Four teachers are profiled with their ratings and class counts: Sakshi Basrani (4.9, 4,642+ classes), Saloni Modi (4.8, 3,120+ classes), Shibani Sahjwani (5, 5,830+ classes) and Tehreem Kitaba (4.9, 2,540+ classes).

Getting started

Onboarding runs in three steps. First, the family books a free class, a live demo in which the educator assesses the child's level, interests and goals; the site says booking takes less than 2 minutes, needs no payment and offers flexible timings across time zones. Second, the child joins live small-group classes, with interactive activities and progress tracked through every session. Third, parents see progress through regular updates, and the site claims that within 4-6 weeks parents notice their children becoming more confident, expressive and active in class. That is the company's own claim about typical progress, not a guarantee.

Families can download the Bambinos app from the App Store or Google Play, and the blog describes it as an app designed for kids to follow their learning. Support is offered by email and WhatsApp, and a newsletter for parents promises weekly insights on raising confident children, free workshops and early access to new courses. The home page shows no prices; pricing has its own page, and the footer links a refunds policy.

What parents say

Ratings are shown prominently: 4.7+/5 from 8,000+ Google reviews and 4.6/5 from 1,800+ Trustpilot reviews. The home page collects what it calls transformation stories. Shruti Jayaram, a parent in Chennai, writes: "My child who was shy and wouldn't speak has started interacting in school and forming full sentences independently." Ankita Garg in Delhi NCR writes, "My daughter talks about class all week." Sreeja Dath in Mumbai says that before Bambinos her son "sat quietly in every class", and that his teacher later called to say the improvement was remarkable.

Who it suits

Bambinos.live suits parents who want live, small-group or one-on-one classes that put speaking, reasoning and confidence alongside the subject itself. It fits younger children well, since the age range starts at 4, and it covers an unusual mix in one place: English, math and science next to chess, Kannada and a Gita-based values course. Families who want Kannada for a child in grades 1 to 8, or a values course rooted in the Bhagavad Gita, will find both offered as regular live courses.

It suits less well a family that wants recorded, self-paced lessons, since every class is live, or a teenager past 15. Parents focused mainly on exam scores should note the site's own framing, which sets its "Confidence First Approach" against a "Focus Only on Test Scores".
