Tap a star to rate
INFS, the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences, is an online school that trains nutrition coaches, personal trainers and preventive health professionals. It sells individual certifications and longer diplomas to learners who want a career in nutrition and fitness coaching, and to professionals such as physiotherapists and doctors who want to add nutrition and lifestyle medicine to their work. Its tagline is "The Gold Standard in Preventive Health Education". Prices on the site are in Indian rupees, one diploma is taught in Hindi, and scholar stories on the site describe graduates coaching across India and abroad.
The catalog
The course menu sorts the catalog into four groups. Nutrition holds a Basic Course in Nutrition & Fitness, Clinical Nutrition Levels I, II and III, a Certified Nutritionist course and Sports Nutrition. Exercise holds the Certified Personal Trainer, Strength & Conditioning, a Contest Prep Course, a Calisthenics Trainer Certification and the Henselmans PT Course, marked new. Preventive Health holds Women's Health and Wellness, Kids and Adolescent Nutrition, Principles of Diagnostics in Preventive Healthcare, and a Practicum in Nutrition, Exercise and Preventive Health. The fourth group is the diplomas. The home page counts 16+ science-backed courses in total.
Diplomas and their prices
The flagship is the Diploma in Nutrition, Exercise and Preventive Health, which the courses page labels Professional-Advanced and describes as a science-backed diploma for building careers in preventive health. It is listed at ₹61999 and runs 51-104 weeks. A shorter Professional Diploma in Nutrition, Exercise and Preventive Health is listed at ₹31999 over 16-30 weeks. The Hindi-language diploma, listed as डिप्लोमा इन न्यूट्रिशन एण्ड फिटनेस (हिंदी), which translates as Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness (Hindi), is priced at ₹49999. The blog also carries a post titled Why Fitness Education in Hindi Matters for India.
Certifications
Two certifications carry published prices on the home page. The Certified Personal Trainer costs ₹17800 and runs 15-16 weeks. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach costs ₹19999 and runs 16-20 weeks. The other certifications on the menu, from the clinical nutrition levels to the calisthenics and contest prep courses, are reached through their own course pages, and the site's blog includes a guide to choosing between Clinical Nutrition Levels I, II and III. A trainer who already has a qualification can add a single specialty this way rather than taking a full diploma.
How the learning works
According to the courses page FAQ, the online courses mix self-paced modules a learner can open at any time with live expert-led sessions and interactive workshops, so that working professionals can fit study around a job. The home page calls this an adaptive learning experience that balances live sessions with self-paced online modules. No science background is required: the FAQ says the foundational courses are designed to be accessible and that INFS guides learners from basic concepts to advanced human health science with extensive mentor support.
The Practicum in Nutrition, Exercise and Preventive Health is where the theory meets client work. Three scholar stories describe it. Anu Bindra says it bridged theory and real-world coaching through complex cases, with mentors simplifying the concepts. Sheetal Dalvi describes a three-step approach of expert case sharing, independent analysis and reflection sessions. Sheetal Panchal, a fat loss coach, says it gave her real-life case management experience and more confidence in decision-making.
Faculty and advisors
The home page names Dr. Vid Karmarkar as INFS Director and lists a board of advisors made up of Brad Dieter, Dr. Brandon Roberts, Menno Henselmans and Dr. Stuart Philips. Henselmans also gives his name to the new Henselmans PT Course. The home page sums up what it calls the INFS difference as an evidence-based curriculum, a global research faculty and career-ready outcomes, and lists expert-led instruction from experienced mentors dedicated to career success among the reasons to choose it.
Credentials and recognition
INFS describes its programs as accredited health certifications and lists "Elite Professional Credentialing" among its selling points, promising certifications for global practice. On the courses page, the FAQ answers the question of global recognition by saying INFS certifications are built on evidence-based global standards and provide the recognized credentials needed to practice as a preventive health professional or consultant across various international markets. The home page has a section headed Accreditations, but its text names no accrediting body.
Who the courses are for
The site names six audiences. Health enthusiasts can turn an interest into a science-backed career. Fitness coaches and trainers can add certifications to set themselves apart. Physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals can connect recovery science with patient wellness. Doctors and clinicians can add clinical nutrition and lifestyle medicine to their practice. Corporates and organizations can run structured health education programs for their teams. Public health advocates can work on preventing lifestyle disorders in their communities.
Scholars and community
The scholar stories on the courses page give a sense of where graduates go. Pratham Wadhwa took the diploma, changed his own family's health, and now coaches clients on reversing habits and managing disorders. Priyanka now coaches clients across India and abroad, managing complex conditions. Simran came to the diploma after post-pregnancy PCOD and thyroid problems and now works as a natural bodybuilder and clinical nutrition specialist. The FAQ says scholars gain access to a large professional community and networking opportunities for building an independent or corporate career, and the home page has a Wall Of Fame section.
Resources and support
Alongside the courses, INFS publishes books and resources and runs a blog it calls the Expert Insights Hub, with recent articles on vitamin D deficiency, post-surgery nutrition, HRV scores, deload weeks, protein needs, training around the menstrual cycle, strength training after 50 and muscle loss on weight loss drugs. Support is available by email and by phone, Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Who it suits
INFS suits a learner who wants a structured, evidence-focused path into nutrition and fitness coaching, priced in rupees and with a Hindi diploma for those who prefer to study in Hindi. The long diploma fits someone building a full career in preventive health, while the personal training and strength and conditioning certifications fit trainers adding one skill. Doctors and physiotherapists can use the clinical nutrition levels to extend existing practice. The main caveat is that the flagship diploma is a long commitment of 51 weeks or more, so a learner who wants a quick credential should start with a single certification.
