What Imarticus Learning is

Imarticus Learning is an Indian training institute for careers in finance, with a wider catalog in data science, analytics, technology, marketing and management. Its About page describes the company as "Recognized as India's No. 1 in job-assured programs and the first & only approved preparation partner for four global accounting and finance certifications." The FRM course page puts it differently, as "India's First & Only Approved Prep Provider for the World's Top 5 Certifications in Accounting & Finance - FRM, CFA, ACCA, US CPA & US CMA." Either way, exam preparation for international finance credentials is a large part of what Imarticus sells, alongside its own job-focused programs.

Teaching is a mix of live online classes and physical centers. The help page lists experience centers in cities including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Thane, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi, plus an office in Dubai. The About page gives the company's own numbers: 12+ years legacy, 40+ programs across domains, 300+ trainers, 3500+ hiring partners, 20+ institute partners and 1,25,000+ career transitions. The founder and CEO is Nikhil Barshikhar, and Sonya Hooja is co-founder and president.

The finance catalog

The finance menu is long. It runs from job-focused programs such as the Certified Investment Banking Operations Professional (CIBOP), the Postgraduate Financial Analysis Program and the Postgraduate Program in Banking and Finance, through executive programs run with institutes including IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore and ISB Executive Education, to professional exam prep: ACCA, US CMA and CFA programs with KPMG in India, a US CPA program, FRM and FMVA. Short courses include Derivatives: Futures and Forwards, The Fundamentals of Financial Markets, Investment Banking Basics, Accounting Fundamentals, Introduction to Stock Trading, Mastering Excel for Finance and CFA Foundations. The home page sums up the institutional side as "Learn from prestigious institutions like IIMs, IITs, ISB, and XLRI", and claims real-world teaching from "650+ industry experts" with 15+ years of experience at global firms.

Three finance programs have their own pages with full detail.

FRM certification prep

The FRM course prepares learners for the Financial Risk Manager exams set by GARP, and the page describes Imarticus as a "GARP-Approved Prep Provider". It lists an 8-10 months study period. Study materials come from Analyst Prep, which the page calls a GARP-approved content provider, including question banks, practice exams and guided learning resources. Learners begin with a pre-course, then move through FRM Part I (four subjects: Foundations of Risk Management, Quantitative Analysis, Financial Markets and Products, and Valuation and Risk Models) and Part II (six subjects covering market, credit, operational, liquidity and treasury, and investment risk, plus current issues in financial markets). A pre-placement bootcamp adds one-to-one mentoring on soft skills and interview preparation, and the FAQ says KPMG in India creates 23 original case studies for its professional programs.

Faculty named on the page include lead trainer Amit Parakh and, from KPMG in India's risk advisory practice, Rachit Gupta and Sonali Gupta. The page also sets out the GARP route after the exams: two years of full-time work experience in risk, finance or a related role, then an application to GARP for the designation. Its FAQ notes that GARP membership is not required to register for the exam and that there are no eligibility requirements to sit it.

The program fee is published: ₹90,000 all inclusive for FRM Part 1 & Part 2 training, paid as a ₹10,000 registration fee and a remaining ₹80,000, in full or through zero cost EMIs. GARP's exam fees are separate; the page lists an early registration fee of 600 USD, a standard fee of 800 USD and a one-time 400 USD registration fee, and tells learners to check GARP's website for the latest amounts. The page also offers a money-back guarantee: "you have a 100% guarantee to pass and if you fail to do so we refund 50% of your course fee."

FMVA financial modeling program

The Financial Modeling & Valuations Analyst program prepares learners for the FMVA credential from Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). Imarticus describes itself as an approved CFI affiliate, which it says brings "exclusive discounts on FMVA fees". The program lists a 1 month study period and is aimed at both students and professionals. Classes are live and online, and learners finish with two credentials: an Imarticus Financial Modeling Certificate issued on completion, and the CFI FMVA certification after passing CFI's exam.

The curriculum has 4 parts: foundations (Excel, accounting and corporate finance fundamentals), essential modeling skills (three-statement models, DCF and comparable valuation, forecasting, dashboards and pitchbooks), professional skills (monthly cash flow, mining, startup and real estate models, bank valuation) and case studies, including solar financial modeling and AI prompting for financial analysis. The FMVA exam is described as on demand and online, 50 MCQs in 3 hours, proctored, with a 70% minimum passing score.

The fee is ₹45,000 + GST, plus a ₹5,000 + GST registration fee. The page's Pass Protection offer promises that if a learner does not pass, "50% of your FMVA course fee for that level is refunded." The terms are specific: minimum 80% attendance in live classes, 80% on-demand video and course content consumption, all mock tests and quizzes completed, full attendance at doubt-clearing sessions for any topic scored under 80%, and a minimum of 2 exam attempts.

FinTech operations program

The FinTech and Digital Finance Professional program trains finance graduates, the page names B.Com and BBA, for operations roles in payments, lending, wealth and insurance technology, with "No coding required". It runs for 3 months on weekdays or 6 months on weekends. The curriculum has nine modules in three phases, from the FinTech ecosystem and payments and lending businesses to Excel and Power BI reporting and AI for FinTech, with three live simulations followed by a debrief from an industry expert. Career services include a resume workshop, soft skills sessions, offline mock interviews and a job management portal for tracking applications, and the page advertises "5 interviews guaranteed". Applying takes 2 minutes with no test or essay, followed by a 20-minute call with an admissions counselor. The total program fee is ₹1,49,000: ₹15,000 to book a seat, then installments of ₹80,000 and ₹54,000.

Learning experience and support

According to the help page, course materials sit on the Pegasus LMS. Missed live sessions are recorded and available on the LMS within 48 hours, learners can request a temporary break through their academic advisor, and progress, quizzes and assessments show on a dashboard. Learners who meet the course criteria receive a digital certificate from Imarticus Learning that can be shared on LinkedIn, and anyone struggling can book 1:1 mentoring sessions. The help page also links to a refund policy and says fee receipts are issued within 30 days of payment.

On outcomes, the home page reports placement highlights for FY2025 of 7,921 learners placed and 2,215+ companies that hired its learners, and says Imarticus places "nearly 15 students every day at companies like JP Morgan, Deloitte, PwC, and Amazon." These are the company's own figures.

Who it suits

Imarticus suits learners in India preparing for international finance exams who want live classes, structured study material and placement help in one package, and graduates who want a job-focused route into investment banking operations, financial analysis or FinTech operations. The published fees and the detailed guarantee terms make it easier than usual to compare programs before enrolling.

The guarantees come with conditions that demand steady attendance, and the catalog is broad enough that a learner should read the specific program page, fee and terms rather than rely on the company-wide numbers.
