What Elearnmarkets is
Elearnmarkets, often shortened to ELM, is an Indian online school for stock market trading and investing. Its home page invites visitors to "Learn trading & investing from SEBI-registered experts" and counts 3,440,006+ learners on ELM, alongside a 4.7/5 average course rating and 48K+ verified reviews. The site displays a SEBI registration as a Research Analyst, number INH300007493, and the footer names the company behind it as StockEdge Fintech Private Limited (formerly known as Kredent InfoEdge Private Limited), based in Saltlake City, Kolkata, West Bengal. The About page title sums up the intent as "Simplifying Finance for Every Indian".
The catalog is built for retail traders and investors in Indian markets. Courses cover technical analysis, price action, momentum and swing trading, options strategies on indices and stocks, commodities on MCX, and the basics of opening a demat and trading account. The site's own description says it offers certified courses in Hindi, English and 5 more languages from 150+ market experts. The home page sorts visitors into three paths: those just getting started, those fine-tuning their trading skills, and those who want complete hand-holding through live mentorship.
Stock Trading 101 for beginners
The entry point is Stock Trading 101, which the home page calls "The complete beginner's foundation" covering markets, instruments, charts and a first trade. It runs as a 30-day program, needs no prior experience, and is priced at ₹3000 in total, presented on the home page as ₹100 a day. The skills listed are reading charts, order types, risk basics, market structure, and the demat and trading account. On the courses page the same program appears as Stock Trading 101 in 30 days, taught by Team Elearnmarkets, with trend analysis, trading strategies, option trading and AI tools for trading among its skills, a 4.4 rating and 2868 learners (the home page shows 2,500+ enrolled).
Live expert-led courses
The advanced tier is a set of live courses. The home page describes them as scheduled live sessions where learners interact with instructors, analyze real charts and trade with context. The courses page groups them into Technical Analysis (3 courses) and Options Trading (4 courses), and each card names the instructor, the learner count and a price, shown without a currency sign:
- Price Action and Strategies on Equity & Commodities, by Souradeep Dey: price action, commodity and breakout trading, 4.7 from 5693 learners, 20,000.
- Systematic Momentum Trading & Investing Strategies, by Vivek Bajaj: relative strength analysis, momentum and swing trading, 4.9 from 3650 learners, 25,000.
- Rule-Based Options Trading Strategies, by Chetan Panchamia: trend identification, options strategies and position sizing, 4.7 from 3116 learners, 20,000.
- Systematic Index Options with Chetan Panchamia, in a 3-month version (276 learners, 15,000) and a 6-month version (82 learners, 28,000), covering BTST/STBT strategy and risk management.
- Directional Equity & Commodity Option Trading with Souradeep Dey: market analysis, trade execution, position sizing and risk management, 5.0 from 239 learners, 15,000.
Several of these courses offer a downloadable brochure from the card. The footer's list of course topics goes wider, naming Dow Theory, harmonic chart patterns, algo trading, Elliot Wave Theory, Advanced Excel, cryptocurrency and an NSE Certification Course.
Trading Mentorship Program
For learners who want guidance over months rather than a single course, the Trading Mentorship Program (TMP) is the flagship. The site bills it as "INDIA'S ONLY MULTI-ASSET TRADING MENTORSHIP" and describes structured mentorship, live market sessions and guidance from experienced market professionals. The program card lists 6 months of structured mentorship, 5,300+ traders mentored and a 4.7 program rating. The syllabus covers equity and momentum trading, options strategies, commodities (gold, silver, crude and MCX), algo trading basics, risk management and position sizing, trading psychology, and AI tools for trading. Vivek Bajaj is named as program curator. Applicants can take a 30-minute test to check whether they qualify for a partial scholarship.
The testimonials on the home page come from TMP learners. Varun writes that he did the course "in 2021, almost 3.5 years back, and it has been a life-changing experience", and that "TMP has changed my mindset". Sayantan Bhattacharya says, "I learned investing and trading in all the assets including equity and MCX", and Gautam Garg writes that "The mentors here give you nice hand-holding, which was really helpful for me".
Webinars and free resources
Alongside courses, Elearnmarkets sells single webinars, live and as recordings. The example on the site is Tax planning in equities with Swapnil Kabra, a Chartered Accountant who says he has taught taxation to CA aspirants since 2011. It is an intermediate, English-language, 3-hour session rated 4.8 by 859 learners, priced at 999 including taxes, and it walks through heads of income, capital gains, business income, dividend taxation, setting off losses and planning around bonus shares. Attendees get the presentation used in the session. A related webinar, Market 360° with StockEdge Club by Vivek Bajaj, is listed at 1999.
The webinar FAQ explains the mechanics. Sessions run on GoToWebinar, joined from a desktop or laptop with a speaker or headphones, or on a phone through the GoToWebinar app with a 9-digit code sent by email. Access to a recording is for a lifetime once registered, and recordings can be downloaded in the Elearnmarkets app from the Play Store. Questions about a webinar's content go to support@elearnmarkets.com, and the site says the trainer's answer comes back within 72 hours. For connection trouble, learners can call the support line 15 minutes before a live session.
The free side of the site is large. The footer links to free learning modules on intraday trading, swing trading, option Greeks, candlesticks, chart patterns, value investing, IPOs and personal finance, book summaries of titles such as The Intelligent Investor, e-books, and a set of financial calculators. The Cost of Delay Calculator, for example, shows how much more a person would need to invest each month to reach a goal if they postponed a systematic investment plan by a few years.
Partners and the team
A partner page invites brands, affiliates and colleges to work with what it calls "India's leading Financial Education platform". It lists 100+ brand partnerships, 1000+ affiliate partners and 1000+ college partnerships, a reach of 2.7+ million users and 1 Million+ social media followers, and programs for strategic partners, performance partners, affiliates and student ambassadors. Partner testimonials come from Multipl, NobrokerHood and Mint, which mention working with both Elearnmarkets and its sister product StockEdge.
The About page introduces the core management team. Vivek Bajaj, the founder director, is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with a postgraduate management degree from IIM Indore, sits on committees of exchanges and the regulator, and has spoken at IITs and IIMs. Vineet Patawari, co-founder and CEO, is also a Chartered Accountant and IIM Indore alumnus. Vinay Pagaria leads technology with over 15 years in data analytics, assurance, software development and training. The page also lists investors including Dinesh Agarwal, Ramesh Damani, Ajay Sharma, Samaykth Capital and Kotak Securities.
Who it suits
Elearnmarkets suits Indian retail traders who want to learn chart reading, price action, momentum trading and options from named practitioners, with a cheap first step in Stock Trading 101 and a clear path up to live courses and the six-month mentorship. The live format, the instructor names on every card and the recorded webinars make it practical for someone studying around a job.
The limits follow from that focus. The content is about Indian instruments, Indian taxation and Indian exchanges, so a learner trading other markets will find little that applies directly. None of the course or webinar pages states a refund policy, so a buyer should read the brochure or talk to the team before paying for one of the larger programs.
