Mighty Networks is built as a private social network first, with courses and live events layered on top. You can host live streams directly in the platform, structure cohorts around discussion channels, and use built-in engagement tools like challenges and leaderboards to encourage participation. The mobile app is full-featured, so members interact the same way on desktop and phone.

It's ideal for programs where community interaction and peer learning matter as much as course content itself. Mighty Networks works well for membership communities that teach as part of their model, but less ideal if you just need a simple course delivery system without the community overhead.
